Great cappuccino and great service. Perfect place for a morning coffee. Can't wait to come back again tomorrow.
A well made flat white can be had here. They have roasted beans from India! Surprisingly, it had a very nice depth to it. It was rich, chocolatey without being overwhelming. It complemented the oat milk well. The second time, I tried the flat white with the Guatemala beans and yes I ended up preferring the Indian roast. Also had the banana bread. It's a little too sweet for me but nicely made.
Awesome coffee spot in Amsterdam! We stopped by on our way to the Van Gogh Museum on NYE. The place was packed and cozy when we arrived around noon, but we managed to grab a couple seats outside. My coconut matcha latte was one of the best I've ever had and the croissant was absolute flaky goodness! My mom also enjoyed her cappuccino! The kind barista was super welcoming and warm, I'll definitely be back when I'm in town.
cute place, good drinks. food menu is small and average, but cappuccino was great! good location and reasonable prices. i got the ham and cheese croissant which was good, the toasts were eh.
Love love love this small cafe. It gives such a homey and earthy vibe. We stopped by this cafe for a light breakfast before walking to Vondelpark. I got the green juice and a vegan banana bread. The juice is deliciously healthy and goes down smooth. The bread was a tad bit dry but filling and not as sweet as your normal banana bread from say Starbucks. Will definitely stop by again when I come visit the city.
I met this lovely place searching for a good place to eat next to our hotel (which has an expensive breakfast). It's a small place with a rustic decoration and just one concern: serve good coffee I asked for a capuccino that was really really good. To eat, the salami sandwich was an delicious option, with a very soft and tasty bread. The staff was very nice too
Amazing coffe and salami sandwich. Went here for Saturday breakfast to get away from bad expensive hotel breakfast. Friendly staff and cool interior
Went into to Koffie Academie on our last morning in Amsterdam and it did not disappoint. I love a good latte with latte art, and this place was great. It's very quaint, not a ton of seating. If you're looking for a moderately priced, delicious coffee and a cozy place a to relax, look no further than Koffie Academie.

Wow. We just stumbled along this place as we were in search of reasonably priced food. They serve the most amazing sandwiches. They buy two loafs of specialty bread made down the street and when they run out, they're out. The bread was thick and moist. We had a prosciutto sandwich and a goat cheese and fig version - both excellent. The cappuccino was better than the one we paid twice as much for at the Rijkmuseum. The prices here are extremely reasonable. As I write this I'm staring at some pretty amazing looking pies and cakes ...
This is a really hipster coffee joint, but if that doesn't turn you off then you definitely need to try the coffee. It's delicious!!!!! On the weekends they also offer assorted breakfast food, but the coffee is the main star here. They take their coffee very seriously, and you can choose between 3 different ways to brew your coffee. The only thing is, don't come if you're in a hurry and need to just grab a coffee on your way to somewhere, since they take their time to make every cup perfectly.
Ever been on a trip and you love a place so much that you JUST have to keep coming back to it over and over again? Well, that was us with Koffie Academie. We were here three times during our stay in Amsterdam, and I think I found my brand new favorite coffee shop in the city, and I was really sad that I had to leave it behind when our vacation was over. The most convenient part is that it was within walking distance of our hotel and right across from the train station. To keep a piece of Koffie Academie with me back at home in the States, I chose to buy a bag of their Rwanda-style coffee beans. On our first visit, I just had their cappuccino alone since it was later in the afternoon and I had already had lunch, but during the second and third visit, I tried their croissants. Amsterdam, hands down, has the BEST coffee ever. I think way better than the coffee in other European countries we've visited during our trip so far. I had to put sugar in my cappuccino during every visit to make it sweeter (sugar cubes and sugar packets are available). This was my parents' second time in Amsterdam and they stuck with their mochas, which they had before. Both the croissants I had were flaky on the outside and buttery on the inside. My mom had their coconut square treat which, I believe, had either strawberries or raspberries inside with a solid chocolate topping. While I didn't get the chance to try it, I thought that it looked delicious! I think I want to try this during my next trip to Amsterdam. Koffie Academie, you have not been forgotten in my memory. Can't wait to see you again upon my return to Amsterdam in the near future! read more
What a brilliant cortado! I arrived in town before I could check in so I settled here to answer some emails while I wait. What a cozy cafe with brilliant coffee. My cortado was excellent and while I didn't purchase any the baked sweets looked very appetizing. I came back 2 more times during my stay in Amsterdam which is very unlike me because I like to try many cafes when I travel. Fyi - the espresso is quite strong for my taste so if that is something you're sensitive to then adjust your order. read more

As you can see, I come here all the time. It's the perfect place to work or to catch up with a friend. It's such a cosy and laid-back café with exceptional coffee. Starbucks is across the street, but the coffee tastes so much better here. The two men that work here are extremely polite and friendly. Frank always recognises me and remembers my preferences. I always come back here because there is nothing I don't like about it. The fresh orange juice here is delicious too. You can actually hear them squeeze the oranges right after ordering. Finally they play great tunes such as Bruce Springsteen, which I'm a fan of. The large window and wooden tables just makes this place really homey. read more

Tons of interesting cafes in this neighborhood. We decided to try this one as this shop turned out to be the only one that served iced coffee lol comparable to the ones we had in SF! Ice Americano and ice latte! read more
