The food here was amazing and so quick! It was such a great find with nice service and a pretty inside and outside. We saw the great reviews and made sure to come here. It did not disappoint at all!

Really enjoyed! Was a great stop between doing museums. Our waiter was very friendly and it was pretty quick. All of the food and drinks were great!

Service was great and super friendly, we had big burrata with prosciutto lunches that did not disappoint, delicious matcha lattes and cappuccino, it gets crowded on weekends so beware of the line

Very cute coffee shop close to the museum quarter! I love everything about the ambience. Coffee was textbook good and the staff was friendly! Would love to go back next time and try their food options.

Waiting to enter the Rijksmuseum we wanted to get a hot coffe, since we got to the museum way to early. We got on yelp and saw that this coffee shop was in walking distance, and was open, so we decided to venture out. (Shout out to google maps) It's a charming small modern neighborhood coffee shop where the barista is welcoming, and friendly. Cappuccino was made to my liking, adding just a touch of raw sugar. I saw that you could get something to eat here, but we were short on time so we opted for coffee. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area.

I enjoyed this place. They have an awesome patio that was nice and relaxing to sit at. I had the poached eggs avocado which had two perfectly poached eggs on a typical avocado toast. The price was a bit on the high end, but the service was good and the ambience of the quiet street was nice.

Latte is amazing

They have a decent menu and the price is fair. I like the food. Also outdoor seating is available.

Vegan pancakes

Walked by, on chance, after going to the Van Gogh Museum. Such a cute vibe and friendly service. Good oatmilk lattes and many vegan options. Some people in my group got the pancakes and they were nice and fluffy. I got the vegan toast with hummus and grilled veggies - good thick piece of bread and filling.

What a delightful surprise! We didn't know what to expect from this local bistro other than the locals swear by it for a simple yet delightful breakfast. We were surprised by the menu, so simple but it seemed like it was packed with flavor. Usually small menu's pack a punch... Local's didn't disappoint. The coffee was delicious! We went with a mix of latte's and expresso's that were bold yet smooth, so much we went for doubles! Try the flat white it was great! Local's offers a variety of toasts toped with exquisite toppings that pair so well. I went with a slice of toast with truffle eggs and crisp bacon. Let me tell you ... it was amazing !!! The eggs had so much flavor, there was more then truffle in there, I couldn't make out but it didn't matter because it was all good! The bacon made everything pair so well because while the toast was crisp and soft it was still solid enough to hold the eggs and the bacon which let you cut into it or grab it and take a bite! So Good!!! We also went with a delicious Goat cheese toast with honey and walnuts. WOW!!!! The cheese was everything here... creamy and warm, packed with flavor. The honey on top with the walnuts really gave it a second explosion of flavor which paired well. Honey and cheese is a mix that just goes together! We also ordered pancakes for the table. So butterly, fluffy and flavorful. The syrup was quite good and when paired with the drizzle mixed with the powdered sugar and the fluffiness of the pancakes it made for fantastic trio! Bite into that trio and add fresh blue berries and raspberries for that extra kick of tarty flavor if you like, I did ! Loved this small cafe and would recommend to anyone!

I'm pretty sure the people came here are mostly locals I had a great breakfast here. Not a big place yet really laid back and casual. Food and drinks are great

The best place to grab a coffee, breakfast, or brunch with friends in Amsterdam! I absolutely loved the breakfast I had. It was very filling and affordable the meal was around 12 euros! The staff was also very kind and the service was great.

avocado toast with chicken

locals was just ok. waiter came off kind of aggressive and weird. the food was just ok, looked better than it was. acai was kind of melted and the chicken wasn't super fresh.

We stopped by for a quick breakfast. The fresh ginger tea and pancakes were delightful. The seating outside is very comfortable and the service is very quick. The ginger tea has fresh slices of ginger, as does the mint. The pancakes are delicious! There are banana slices in between the stacks of pancakes and they are topped with fresh berries. The owner Luciano and his staff are gracious hosts.

Very slow service. Food was mediocre, over priced for what it is. Esthetically pleasing, but the tables are really close together.

Everything about this place was great!…read more I'll start with the service. We walked in around 4:10 and they didn't start food service for another 20 minutes. The waiter was super cool and told us to have a seat anywhere we liked and brought us a drink menu. He knew we wanted to eat so at exactly 4:30 he came and took our orders. Through out the meal he was on top of everything and even offered many suggestions! The food was spectacular as well. I had the trio of fries and my friends had other small plates that were all so good! And the sauces that come with the fries, mamma mia! We also shared the Boca's Platter and it was absolutely to die for. Do not pass this up. I repeat, do not pass this up! Between 4 people, the medium was plenty of food. The space itself was also nice. They had outdoor seating for nicer days. We went right when food service began on a Monday afternoon so can't speak to how busy it gets during peak hours. Go for the great service, go for the Boca Platter, whatever you do, just go!

The bruschetta was delicious and if you love blue cheese, get it...it's extremely rich and creamy. The three kinds of fries were solid; curly, sweet potato, and regular with some chili ketchups. The boca platter was HUGE and we got the medium for 4 people. Came with steak, fried shrimp, mackerel potato salad, crostini, and an assortment of cheeses and some pepperoni. Last but not least...my favorite...the tartare. The quail egg was delicately placed atop the center of the meat and placed alongside the four little crostini on the plate. It was juicy and had so much flavor, a little spicy but not an overwhelming amount of chili spice. This meal reminded me of tapas in Madrid; definitely stop by bocas and get everything!

Coffee & Coconuts, seriously another amazing cafe that I visited during my trip in Amsterdam!…read more This cafe is hidden on the outside, but once you step inside, it is massively huge with three stories of dining tables. After waiting to be seated, our hostess guided us upstairs to the third floor, where they have several more dining tables and cozy couches that you can sit on while you enjoy your coffee. My parents, having visited this cafe before during their last trip to Amsterdam, raved about this place and suggested that I try their famous coconut coffee. All three of us ordered their coconut coffee, with my dad adding an espresso shot to his own so that he could stay awake for the rest of the night. Once I reached that first sip, OMG. SO DELICIOUS. How can I make my own coconut coffee back at home?! I loved it so much that I really want to make a copycat of it. The straws are also bendable, which really makes it handy if you need to lower your straw a bit. If I could, I would get on a plane to Amsterdam just to come back for their coconut coffee. That's how delicious it is! Local or tourist, I strongly suggest Coffee & Coconuts. You will not regret coming here at all!

We went on a weekend when they exclusively serve their famous apple pie, and while the lines can get pretty long, ours actually moved very quickly. The setup is a bit of a hustle: you order at the counter, pay, and then have to hunt for a table (they have seating indoors and outdoors) while balancing your food. Finding an open spot can definitely be a challenge, but we got incredibly lucky and snagged a seat at a communal table right as our plates were handed to us. Logistics aside, the pie is entirely worth it. It's honestly one of the best I've ever had. The crust is beautifully buttery and crumbly, and the warm apples have the absolute perfect texture--a brilliant balance of sweet and tart. It's not overly sweet on its own, but with a generous mountain of whipped cream and a hot coffee, it made for a wonderfully rich afternoon snack. I know a lot of people rave about their chocolate milk too, but the coffee pairing was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend braving the line for this!
