The food itself was decent, but lacked a little bit of the real jerk flavour, and some of the pork was a little bit dry... almost as though new tender meat was mixed with older meat... this removed a half star for sure. The rice & peas and cabbage were good though. Also they did get the order right and the portions were pretty generous. They got the request for extra condiments and cutlery correct as well, something I find that is often missed with online ordering. PROS: - Easy to find (inside the mall food court) - Order accuracy - Generous portions - Pricing... value is pretty fair CONS: - Moisture of the meat (inconsistent) - Longer than stated wait time for pickup - Taste was "okay", could have used more "jerk" in the pork While I'm not waiting on bated breath for the next visit, I think I will try them again one day to see if (an)other food item(s) would be better. The "small" meal, btw, was big enough for our lunch and dinner. Along with the chopped up pieces of chicken in a rich brown sauce came a flavorful rice, cooked cabbage and carrots, and a few plantains. We both asked for extra sauce on the rice -- and you should too. Like oxtail, this meal is hands on -- that is you need to pick off the chicken meat from the bone with your mouth and fingers. If you don't mind doing this, you're in for a treat. We both kept oohing and ahh-ing over the flavors. We will definitely return to have this meal again and to try their other options.
