We had a very good Jamaican lunch here. The restaurant is located on the north side of Lake Worth road. It's set back in the shopping center at the most northern point. Inside, the restaurant has two rooms. The first was filled with tables set with white table cloths. Walking through the first room, led to the second room -- with a long counter and booths. We chose to dine in and sat at the counter. They were busy even after lunch hour. They were doing a lot of take out. We chose to dine in and sat at the counter. My husband ordered a small brown stewed chicken dish. They also have mini and large sizes. I got the small oxtail. We both got rice n peas and vegetables as our sides. The oxtail was so very tender. The gravy was rich, meaty, and lick the plate delicious. My husband liked his brown stew chicken equally as much. Even though I had thought I'd have leftovers for dinner, neither of us left anything on our plates to take home. To drink, he had ginger beer and I had a Jamaican creme soda. We also bought a couple beef patties -- one mild and one spicy -- to try later on. (They were very good, btw.) We look forward to returning to try some of their other authentic Carribean dishes. Lunch today with a trip to what is supposed to be the best Caribbean food in town. And they sure delivered some credibility with the lunch dishes we had here today. I ordered a Small Brown Stew Chicken with peas and rice along with some steamed vegetables. My wife had a Small Oxtail plate with peas and rice along with some steamed vegetables. BEST oxtail dinner in the area! Yum! A little bit pricey, but the food is awesome and the portion is generous.

One of my favorite places to get Jamaican patties. The mild has a right amount of spice as I can't handle too much pepper. The meat inside is a good amount and flavorful without fillers like many places add. The crust is crunchy yet tender and not heavy like a other ones I've had elsewhere. Jerk Chicken is not bad if you prefer a milder tasting kind. It's not seasoned a lot with jerk spices. Satisfied my craving for it but not something I would regularly get from there. The Sorrell (which I believe they make) is the next best to homemade. It has a good balance of sorrell flavor, sweetness and alcohol. There Red peas soup with pigtails which is served on Tuesdays is pretty good. Would prefer if it had spinner style dumplings instead of the round ones which is harder to cut and eat. Also, had a good amount of food in it (i.e. yam etc). Bammy is also good and fried with a nice crunch not too hard or soft. Little expensive tho compared to other places. Overall this a good place to get Jamaican food as I do fairly regularly. I so miss there homemade Jamaican fruit punch. Bummed they stopped making it. My mother and I ordered 2 large fish tea soup to go at $31.00 and change. My entire family is pescatarian. We haven't had meat in over 6 years. My father who has been pescatarian for 30 years looked at the contents and said "something isn't right, I'm not eating this". I thought he was just being picky. I went to this restaurant this past Saturday because I wanted some Jamaican food. I've been here before so I figured why not? Boy do I regret it. I spent almost $60 and I wasn't able to eat a thing . I ordered 2 large curry goats at almost $18 each and a large Mannish water soap and a cup of sorrel. First let's start with the curry goat. It was not cooked properly. The curry was still raw and the goat was tough and chewy . The mannish water was full of fat and oil and had absolutely no flavor . The sorrel was ok but was very sweet . The only positive thing that I have to say is that the woman that took my order was very pleasant . The decor is ok. Very typical for Jamaican restaurants . Brightly colored and a lot of music playing. Oh one more thing- please fix the exit door. That thing is a fire hazard. It's extremely heavy and gets stuck. read more

Great local area restaurant behind Taco Bell plaza across from the Planet Fitness shortly East. Very beautifully decorated. Service was pleasant and food was very good. I would give the good four stars out of five. Curry goat could use a little more heat and spice but I know that's probably some of my Jamaican roots four stars Rice and peas were good but I did not taste the coconut milk when made from Jamaica 2 stars. The carrot punch juice was all that and more 5 stars Cabbage 3 stars as broccoli in it nice touch but a little crunchy. Portions are a bit scant for the price point. However clearly it is well served for the market as they had great following. I was surprised to find they have been there five years. I have never noticed them before. Ambiance and cleanliness five stars and service four. One big negative if you don't have Chas they add almost 4 percent or 3.9%. The girls are rude at the counter and on the phone. When you go in to pick-up your meal, they are engaged in conversations and barely acknowledge you only to take your payment. I was in Florida for almost 2 weeks and discovered Caribbean Teeze when looking for a Jamaican restaurant to host and cater an event. Wayne was super professional and extremely helpful in determining our menu, etc. The first day we went there we had some soup which was wonderful and had us going back everyday for about 4 or 5 days to try different items on the menu - jerk chicken, oxtails, stew peas (with lots of pigs tails), beef soup, red peas soup, and have yet to be disappointed with anything. They also catered our event and had everyone, Jamaicans and Americans talking about the food for several days after. The mannish water was excellent as was the curried goat, brown stewed chicken, BBQ chicken, jerk pork and all the sides. The fruit juice wonderful and was perfect to wash it all down. I order delivery from this restaurant and each time its as if they don't understand or adhere to "special instructions" that is offered when placing the order. Also there does not seem to be portion control on most dishes. I 've ordered "small" and I have ordered "Large" potion sizes. The Large is basically one more piece of chicken and/or one more piece of oxtail. The small for 4+ dollars less is the right option. They could do better on all dishes for the price that they charge. This Jamaican restaurant gives the worst customer service. The ladies who serve and take orders are slow as a turtles. They are not pleasant, when they took my order for take-out they act as if the food is cook to order, when the food is only reheated in the microwave. I order a soup and mini stew peas, It took 35 minutes. I wanted to walk out however, my mother-in- law asked to purchase it there. Although, two other employees could have assisted at the bar, they stood by did nothing, too lazy to even assist me with my order to get me on my way. I asked to speak to the owner, who never is around when they are rude and treat unfamiliar customers like crap. There are three other Jamaican restaurant off Jog and Lake Worth Rd with good food and much better customer service. These ladies need to go back to school to learn hospitality.
