Great flavor. Great food and fast service. They play good music and like to show you your food before you leave which is always a plus.

Beef found in my Fish Tea Soup

My mother and I ordered 2 large fish tea soup to go at $31.00 and change. My entire family is pescatarian. We haven't had meat in over 6 years. My father who has been pescatarian for 30 years looked at the contents and said "something isn't right, I'm not eating this". I thought he was just being picky. When I go to eat mine, there was indeed chucks of another type of meat, what's looks to be beef!!!! I am LIVID!! I do not recommend this business.

I went to this restaurant this past Saturday because I wanted some Jamaican food. I've been here before so I figured why not? Boy do I regret it. I spent almost $60 and I wasn't able to eat a thing . I ordered 2 large curry goats at almost $18 each and a large Mannish water soap and a cup of sorrel. First let's start with the curry goat. It was not cooked properly. The curry was still raw and the goat was tough and chewy . The mannish water was full of fat and oil and had absolutely no flavor . The sorrel was ok but was very sweet . The only positive thing that I have to say is that the woman that took my order was very pleasant . The decor is ok. Very typical for Jamaican restaurants . Brightly colored and a lot of music playing. Oh one more thing- please fix the exit door. That thing is a fire hazard. It's extremely heavy and gets stuck.

All that can you tell? Carrot punch amazing!

Great local area restaurant behind Taco Bell plaza across from the Planet Fitness shortly East. Very beautifully decorated. Service was pleasant and food was very good. I would give the good four stars out of five. Curry goat could use a little more heat and spice but I know that's probably some of my Jamaican roots four stars Rice and peas were good but I did not taste the coconut milk when made from Jamaica 2 stars. The carrot punch juice was all that and more 5 stars Cabbage 3 stars as broccoli in it nice touch but a little crunchy. Portions are a bit scant for the price point. However clearly it is well served for the market as they had great following. I was surprised to find they have been there five years. I have never noticed them before. Ambiance and cleanliness five stars and service four. One big negative if you don't have Chas they add almost 4 percent or 3.9%. Overall four stars I will definitely recommend them for great Caribbean food!!

I ordered pound of fried chicken on Uber eats and they only sent me half a pound. I weighed it myself. I'm so upset.

So unkept. Soiled tablecloths, busted furniture, dirty dishes on the counters and the floor wasn't even swept.

I ordered the Jerk Pork with Rice & Peas and Veggies (cabbage). The food itself was decent, but lacked a little bit of the real jerk flavour, and some of the pork was a little bit dry... almost as though new tender meat was mixed with older meat... this removed a half star for sure. The rice & peas and cabbage were good though. Also they did get the order right and the portions were pretty generous. They got the request for extra condiments and cutlery correct as well, something I find that is often missed with online ordering. PROS: - Easy to find (inside the mall food court) - Order accuracy - Generous portions - Pricing... value is pretty fair CONS: - Moisture of the meat (inconsistent) - Longer than stated wait time for pickup - Taste was "okay", could have used more "jerk" in the pork While I'm not waiting on bated breath for the next visit, I think I will try them again one day to see if (an)other food item(s) would be better. With slight improvements this could be a real go-to spot. And yes, as always, I'll keep you posted when that happens!

The restaurant is located in a small strip shopping center just north of the Greenwood Shopping Center on Congress Ave. in Palm Springs. We arrived at a good time as the inside is rather small. By the time we left, almost every table was full. Many people picked up take out orders throughout our meal. La Cosinita is a very busy restaurant! This was our first time trying Puerto Rican food. My husband ordered Mofongo stuffed with chicken and peppers and was very pleased with his choice. The portion size was quite generous. I ordered the Chicken de Plancha. My chicken was grilled to perfection and accompanied by plantains and black beans and rice. I enjoyed every bite. Our server checked on us several times during our meal. She was also very patient when we ordered as we weren't familiar with some of the menu items. The prices and portion sizes of our meals were a good value. This small but busy restaurant is a neighborhood gem!

I received a huge plate of white rice, to stones, salad and pickliz and a cup of pinto bean soup. The pinto beans were delicious and hot, rice steaming hot and very good, pickliz super hot and delicious ! Better than most pickliz I've had, fresh and super spicy with habanero or scotch bonnet, I can tell it was freshly made. One of the best Haitian restaurants I've been to in south Florida and I'll return to try out more things.

There was ample free parking right outside their doors. Inside, it is bright and clean. You order at one end of the counter where all the food is displayed. The menu is on the wall. We both chose their "small" brown stew chicken with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. I always request a bit of extra gravy on top of the rice. The food is served in take out containers. And they were doing a lot of take out orders while we were there. But we chose to dine in. The chicken was tender. It's a bit messy to eat, but delicious with the brown gravy. The gravy had a slight kick. The rice and peas were able to sop up some of the gravy. The cabbage/veggies were mild. The plantains were sweet. As I said before, the portion was so large --even though it was the small size -- that we each had enough for another meal. Reasonable prices, good food, friendly staff, and large portions -- a winning combination.
