There's a dog at the bar and as I walked in the door, they were escorting a cat outside of the bar. Now we all know the restrictions of having a liquor license. It's very unsanitary. They're not service animals and were not presented as such when I asked. @$8 for a Jack and 7 it's ridiculous! I asked for a brandy and seven which they said they don't have brandy so I asked for a jack and Sprite. She grabbed a tall glass and I asked for a short so she gave me a glass that they call a shot glass in here. It was a 4 ounce glass and when she started a pour, she said she could only fit half the liquor in it with a little bit of Sprite to give me where I asked for what would cost me the same price. I asked her then to put it in a tall glass and just don't put as much spray. She did, but it still tasted like a normal mixed drink with a lot of Sprite at eight dollars in a dive bar at 7:15 pm. She didn't want to agree anything of what I was saying for accommodate me with the lack of liquor in the drink. She explained that the bar was just taken over a couple years ago so it's changed. Probably might have. It's the same disgusting floor, ceiling, bathrooms, and moldy ceiling tiles as always!

There is a Caribbean influence in the entire menu, a nod to the owner's origins. We finished with the carrot cake which was delicious and big enough to split between our group of three. We had a couple of vegan cheeseburgers and even though you picked them from the refrigerator and they warm them up they were still delicious! The lounge is pet friendly and the perfect place to go if you just want to decompress, maybe get some work done in a quiet place, read a book, or just connect with that someone special. I highly recommend this place, especially considering the alternative across the street is not very friendly and not very excepting of Certain types of people especially LGBTQ.
