Umm if there was a 3.5 that would be more accurate…read more I ordered online for pickup, and when I went in the meals still weren't ready despite what the pickup time stated online. I ordered the Jerk Pork with Rice & Peas and Veggies (cabbage). The food itself was decent, but lacked a little bit of the real jerk flavour, and some of the pork was a little bit dry... almost as though new tender meat was mixed with older meat... this removed a half star for sure. The rice & peas and cabbage were good though. Also they did get the order right and the portions were pretty generous. They got the request for extra condiments and cutlery correct as well, something I find that is often missed with online ordering. PROS: - Easy to find (inside the mall food court) - Order accuracy - Generous portions - Pricing... value is pretty fair CONS: - Moisture of the meat (inconsistent) - Longer than stated wait time for pickup - Taste was "okay", could have used more "jerk" in the pork While I'm not waiting on bated breath for the next visit, I think I will try them again one day to see if (an)other food item(s) would be better. With slight improvements this could be a real go-to spot. And yes, as always, I'll keep you posted when that happens!

Surprisingly, when I walked in the restaurant was clean and up-to-date, the staff was super nice and greeted me initially when I came in the door with a friendly Hello! I checked out the scenery, of course, and noticed that in the new location the kitchen was open and you can see the staff preparing the food. Once I got to the register, I explained it was my first time there at this new location. The staff quickly gave me a rundown of the menu and dinner options available to me. One of the staff members also explained the difference between the two meat choices I was interested in. impatiently waited for me to make the final decision on which dinner plate I was interested in ordering. After paying , my food came out and about 10my food came out in about 10 minutes tops. The cashier opened the plate containing my food to show me how hot, fresh, and tasty looking my food was. Lastly, He secured my food with a plastic bag and handed me all of the items I purchased. I thought to myself what took me so long to actually come to this restaurant. It was such a great experience. I love the grow of the restaurant Customer Service different from the past experiences. I have had with this restaurant when it was in the location overall the experience was great and the price for one large plate of Griot was only $15. You cant beat that with a fat stick lol! Cheers to growth!

I don't generally write bad reviews but this one warranted one. This had to be the most sad plate…read moreof Jamaican food I've ever been served, if you can even call it Jamaican. For starters I ordered jerk pork and was given jerk chicken. Fine. Whatever. I really wanted the pork but I like chicken too. The chicken had zero jerk flavor. And when I say zero, I mean absolutely nothing. No spice. No pimento, thyme, garlic, ginger....nothing. It legit just tasted like grilled chicken. Insanely disappointing. I also ordered a side of their "special sauce" which I paid for and never received. Maybe that would have helped but I'll never know. I also got their curry chicken plate. Again....zero flavor at all. And no curry sauce to speak of. Just lightly coated yellow pieces of chicken that seemed like they just cooked it in turmeric and water. Horrible. The gunga peas and rice tasted like cardboard. Thank god I had some pepper sauce I made a few days ago because if I didn't this entire meal would have been borderline inedible. With all the great Caribbean restaurants we have down here I will absolutely never recommend (no) Flavors Caribbean to anyone.

Probably the best of it's kind that we've ever had. And I've been to Jamaica a few times and to most of the Caribbean islands. The sauce was so delicious we wanted to eat it like soup with a spoon. We stopped in for lunch. It's mainly a takeout place, but they do have a couple booths and a small counter with a few stools for dine in. We chose to eat there. And while we were eating, we saw a line of people coming for takeout and pickup. My husband got their "small" brown stew chicken and it looked so good, I got the same. You can see the food right in front of you at the counter where you order. They also had oxtail, curried chicken and curried goat, and jerked chicken. The "small" meal, btw, was big enough for our lunch and dinner. Along with the chopped up pieces of chicken in a rich brown sauce came a flavorful rice, cooked cabbage and carrots, and a few plantains. We both asked for extra sauce on the rice -- and you should too. Like oxtail, this meal is hands on -- that is you need to pick off the chicken meat from the bone with your mouth and fingers. If you don't mind doing this, you're in for a treat. We both kept oohing and ahh-ing over the flavors. We will definitely return to have this meal again and to try their other options.
