Had the tastiest meal at Mr. Shrimp. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. Love the variety of sauces to pair with your meal. I'm looking forward to trying their crab boil next time.
Our favorite place for a seafood boil closed down. Reviews seemed mixed for the Mr Shrimp chain, but we gave it a try. Service was fine, but not very enthusiastic. I can see why some reviewers are negative about it. Even though you place your order at the front and there's no real table service, I thought tipping might coax a smile out of someone. It did not. Food was solid. We called ahead to make sure they had crawfish. Like most places, their crawfish is precooked and warmed to order. We prefer live crawfish cooked to order, but precooked is not uncommon in the area. We ordered the crawfish with the Fall Special, a well-priced combo that includes snow crab, shrimp, and a few extras. I felt their boil liquid/sauce was very buttery and not as crazy with the garlic as other places. Sometimes I'm in the mood for tons of garlic, but I liked how well the essentially drawn butter sauce went with the shrimp and snow crab clusters. Hard-boiled eggs and fingerling potatoes were tasty and a nice bonus compared to others that use red potatoes and don't include eggs in their special combos. My only additional complaint is that on their menu (visible only online), the Fall Special shows that sausages are included. We had to wait until the end of the meal to confirm that our boil had no sausages. We asked the hostess about it, who then confirmed with the chef that sausages are not in the Fall Special. We didn't push it further, but we let the hostess know that their website menu was incorrect. She thanked us for the info and said they would correct it. Of course, a week later, the attached photo shows that the menu is still not corrected. Or our meal was shortchanged. It's a real pet peeve to not be given something when promised, or not to correct the error.
Food is sooo good! So many options such as seafood boil but also their pony/sandwiches taste amazing! The service is kind and gets to you fast!

Once I did that the lady came to the counter and acknowledged me When I went to get my drink the floor was wet with no sign up and almost fell. The next customer that came in after me she spoke to and took their order. Food didn't taste like it had any seasoning on it.
The four stars here are for the excellent fried shrimp. It was served piping hot. The breading was light and crispy. I chose white rice instead of fries as my side. The rice is drizzled with a touch of garlic butter. We also tried a side of fried conch. This was very good with a remoulade dipping sauce. And we understand is quite popular here. My husband also ordered the fried shrimp. He added some red beans as an extra side. These were just okay. The flavor of sausage overpowered the beans. For dessert, we tried their beignets topped with powdered sugar. These were served hot, but were hard and leaden -- instead of being airy. We'd had these before at another branch of Mr Shrimp where they were quite good. I think something was wrong with the dough or it was cooked wrong but they were tough to chew. I'd come back in the future for that fried shrimp. And leave off the beans and beignets.
This started out as a four star review because the Shrimp and conch are fantastic! However, the beignets were hard and flat, like my ex-wife's biscuits! (Not at all like light, airy, fluffy triangles of sweetness we have had elsewhere...Mr. Shrimp's beignets, near Pompano are great!) The Loyalty point program needs some tweaks.
I found this spot from TikTok headlined as "$20 seafood boil" and I'm so happy I tried them. This spot was very clean inside and decorated so nicely. They operate a little differently so you can dine in or take it to go but you order at the front counter before sitting down. We got a few different things since this was our first time trying them. My seafood boil was a part of a Mother's Day special. The food was very fresh and seasoned good. The fried grouper was good but the fries weren't. They also sell rap snacks, seafood seasonings butter oils, milk, and peppers/onions - very different. Customer service was on point also. The mint lemonade was delicious I had to get a refill before leaving. This place sits in a shopping plaza so there was no issue parking. Overall this place was a solid 3/5 and I'd come back again!

Since we were sharing, they recommended us getting some extra fish (3 more pieces for extra $7), and they also recommended the hush puppies. Ambiance: the place is cute. Nice decor, looks clean and organized. Plenty of seats available when we went. Food: food came quickly and came hot. It looked very appetizing and pretty. The fish tasted fresh, not greasy, very hot and it was melting in my mouth. The hushpuppies were delicious! Flavorful and also not greasy. Fries had some seasoning on it (Cajun I believe). We also got tartar sauce and garlic herb butter and they were both outstanding. The crab slaw was delicious too. The mint lemonade is a must try!! We also got to try the beignets and they were very yummy.
I'm a pescatarian, so this place is heaven! I've tried almost everything on the menu and I'm always excited to try more. They never disappoint. And the staff are so kind and helpful. Isabella was really helpful with helping me decide what I was gonna try today. And GREAT pricing for sea food honestly, I'm always prepared to pay a lot but they have reasonable prices!

I usually get the shrimp po' boy but decided to switch it up today and I regretted it. The catfish was bland and could use some seasoning. The garlic bread was also pretty plain. The krab salad was pretty consistent though. I will absolutely stick to my shrimp po' boys as they have not disappointed yet. read more
Small hole in the wall located next to a wingstop, walked in- small casual spot. The customer service was great, I think her name was Karla she was super patient and friendly. Answered all questions I had. Ordered the shrimp + crab boil $25 mint lemonade $3 + added on sausage $5. Food took 20 mins or so for my boil. Which I thought was a little lengthy but well worth the wait. 10/10. Supple amount of butter, the crab portion was great and so was the shrimp!! Loved the corn + soft potatoes, will definetly be coming back anytime I'm in the area. Mint lemonade was great too!!!!! Cons: The crab legs left on display to take home did not look good, which is ironic because the crab in my boil was GREAT!!!! The bathroom is horrible. The smell, having to walk past a used fryer to use it- only washed my hands but didn't see a lock so not sure. Personally didn't like the beef sausages, was really tough to eat Also just because I love hot sauce: HATED having to use packets, but to even it out they had real high quality gloves- plastic but they don't slip off like the others!!! .... honestly 5/5 even with all of that because the service, price, and quality like that is hard to come across so I'll deal w the nasty bathroom read more

Ordered online , ugh so stinking delicious !!!!! Better than bolay in my opinion. The food is so flavorful and juicy. The only thing I'd say was paying $4 extra for Avocado the portion should've been a bit bigger. But over all so amazing love love love !!!! read more

Went here over the weekend after visiting Mounts Botanical Garden. I had the shrimp boil with eggs and potatoes, my sister had the cracked conch and shrimp, and beinets. I thought I could finish the 1 lb. of shrimp but took it home. Good eats for both of us. Staff was very friendly. Told us there was a closer Mr. Shrimp to my sister's place in Miami. Nice. read more

We took our four kids and a friend here for dinner and had a really lovely evening. The kids loved the food and I was even pleased with my vegetarian bean bowl. The portions were generous too! The service was great. Very willing to adjust order to our needs and dietary restrictions. And Keyla was exceptionally sweet. The place was clean and casual and just right for a seafood boil. We would go back and would direct others there as well. If you are looking for a solid, well priced seafood boil I'd give Mr Shrimp a shot. read more

Food was very good. Well seasoned and salty. The portion size was great for the cost. Normally boils are super expensive. The regular size is perfect with an add on or two. The medium felt more mild but to someone that doesn't like any spice, medium is good. The only thing is the food wasn't terribly hot. The service was excellent and the staff were super friendly. This place wasn't crowded and all areas appeared very clean. Cute interior too. read more

This place has had a face lift and menu update. There are more tables inside for dining in. The walls and floors have a new decor. But the beat part is their menu. Most entrees will come with sides. Food was very flavorful. Love their seafood salad.... that's a meal in itself! There are fountain drinks and bottled drinks. Service was friendly and quick. Self clean tables at end of your meal. They call him MR Shrimp. They do shrimp crab boils, bowls and a lot more. It's more of a crab shack without the shack! Food is excellent. Cajun foods, from boils to po'boy sandwiches. You can go mild, spicy or hot on your seasonings. I would love to see them either use smaller red creamer potatoes, or cut the ones that they have into smaller pieces. Hard to eat huge chunks of potatoes with your hands. Corn on the cob needs a redo. It's overcooked and mushy enough to appear in a corn zombie movie, if corn went to the movies, other than exploded into little bits, in buckets. Drop it into some water for 2 min, then serve. They have gloves and bibs, both appreciated. Atmosphere is a pleasant enough upscale takeout. Order at the counter and they drop it. They keep the place pretty clean, and the tables are distanced. Where do I start!!!! Best seafood broil we have had!!! It's so flavorful!!! It's not your typical salty boil!!! This is simply FLAVOR!!! We had a large shrimp and crab, a side order or Cajun fries and beignets for dessert! And we were pleasantly full. The fries are fresh!!! And lightly salted with Cajun seasoning! The dessert!!! Omg we inhale it! Staff is so friendly and if you need help! Ask and you won't regret it!!! We went with what Ivan recommended!!! The decor is so chic! Super instagramable! It's a date spot! Food was good. We ordered the 99 dollar family platter. It was enough for a family of 5. The flavor was average. They also have bowls for individuals who don't want seafood. My only suggestion are to have more spicy options, and maybe include some sausages? read more
