Kees and his guys did an excellent job on our patio cover. We had multiple companies come look at our patio, but we felt most comfortable with Kees. Something about owner/operator that made us feel good about our decision. They were very clean and worked quickly. The patio cover looks great! Would recommend them to all my friends and family. You can't go wrong with a ten year warranty either. read more

Owner was direct and clear with me about the project NO BS. Also, appreciate their no day laborer or sub-contractor policy. It's a relief being able to communicate with their workers. Will recommend to everyone. Quality work. Definitely lived up to his name. read more

We could not be happier with our new beautiful patio cover! Messaged through Yelp and had a consult two days later. Two weeks later and we're enjoying our patio cover. I highly recommend contacting BRP if you're in the market for a beautiful alumawood patio cover. read more

My concrete pad is a 15'x15' pad with the wrong pergola post metal already poured into it. I was originally going to build my pergola myself, then I remembered I have no skill and can't make a level line to save my life. Called a few places offering alumawood patios and was told an alumawood pergola could not be done in my dimensions due to it not being anchored to the house. I called Case and set up a time for a quote based on some ballpark numbers on a pergola I didn't really want but seemed to be the best we could come up with on the phone. When he came, he was on time and very nice. He looked at my slab and we came up with a plan for what I really did want there, which was a pergola that covered the entire slab. He quoted me a very good price and we set up a time for construction to start. Case was a week early which he told me was a possibility due to his materiel time. Him and his coworker were at my house for 3 days in the blazing sun and santa ana winds. Despite offers, they needed nothing and were nice to my kids and digs running all over the yard while they were out there. They were able to answer all my questions and concerns and built the perfect pergola in just 3 days. Highly recommend going with Case and getting the perfect pergola/patio cover for your house. You will not be disappointed by the finished product. read more

Patio leaking within the first year of being built. Have had my patio for over a year. After it was built I seen some small building flaws. Then when the first rains came the patio began to leak. I had contacted the company several times and let them know about it. When they did come out, supposedly the the issue with fixed. But soon as the next heavy rains can it started leaking and in the same spots. When I reached out to them again, I didn't hear anything back. Really upsetting when you pay so much money for a patio to keep the rain out and enjoy and you sit outside and see water leaking from it and have to deal going back and forth to get the issue fixed. My neighbors have aluminum wood patio for years and not one of there leaks like mine does. I would not recommend this company, definitely does not back up there product and service. Don't waste your money with this one find a reliable and respectable one. read more

I'm absolutely loving our new aluma-wood patio cover!! I appreciated the fact that the workers were well dressed and very respectful as well as very easy to communicate with. The owner was present during the build process and didn't use sub-contractors to do any of the labor. I am very pleased with the end result! I highly reccomend Built Right Patios to everyone, and I have already convinced my in-laws to use them!! read more

Just had our patio cover done at our new house. Great job and great price. Looks fantastic and it is guaranteed for our high wind area

I usually don't leave reviews but this one is a must!! Built Right Patios did absolutely the best job ever!!! They were recommended to me by a co-worker. I contacted Kees who was extremely professional and thorough when answering my questions. I was in a time crunch due to scheduled dinner parties that I was hosting and they came through for me. The job was done in under two days (start to finish). Kees kept in contact with me throughout the entire process of obtaining permits, that I opted for, prior to the build. Inspectors also arrived, mid build, and checked to make sure that everything was done correctly. Which is also another example of their professionalism. I'm extremely happy with everything. I would definitely recommend Built Right Patios!!! read more

Dawson and Isaac (and Kees) were A++. Because of conflicting schedules, it took more than a month for them to begin. But they were very personable, professional and hardworking. Dawson and Isaac did an outstanding job!!! Thank you guys. They, also, cleaned up after themselves each day, leaving my yard spotless. Kees did his best to keep costs down, and worked with me on timing of the payments. (Thank you, I very much appreciated that.) They also removed part of the old structure and filled in holes on part of my house (even though it was time consuming and not part of the quote) The patio cover is beautiful. I initially thought wood would be better, but I'm so glad I chose to go with the Alumawood instead. It looks better, is more durable and isn't prone to termite infestation. I highly recommend Built Right Patios. read more

Ok, I waited almost two years to review my Built Right patio cover. I wanted to see not only the initial install, but also how it would hold up after some time in the Riverside weather. I can say it still looks like new, the fans and outlets work perfectly, and I have no complaints. read more

Best service in Riverside! Thank you to Kees and the team for my amazing patio, its beautiful!

If you want a patio built right this is the company to call! We just moved to Riverside and wanted to have a patio built to create shade and a comfy place to sit while entertaining. After 2 separate quotes we decided to go with Built Right Patios. It wasn't the price that caught our eye but the transparency in the quote and honesty of Case. The final price was literally $400 less with Built Right Patios and it was the best choice! The other company didn't seem to care about our business, they didn't explain the process and product, and we felt like just another customer. With Case we felt like we mattered. The job was done in days and we couldn't be more thrilled with the end result!!!! read more

These guys are still in the process of building our patio right now. There were a few hurdles though not a fault of their own but the main guy, Kees, came through with his words. This morning i woke up seeing our dream patio come to life. Kees and his team are making the impossible happen. They're very professional and know exactly what they're doing. I am extremely impressed with this company and i highly recommend them to everyone. If i could give them 10 stars, i would. They're definitely the best in the business. read more

Had a appointment with Zac to get an estimate on replacing my old wood patio cover. My current patio is from the 1950s and is definitely not your average scenario. Zac was on time, courteous, and able to walk me through multiple scenarios I had questions about. After all was said and done Zac was very honest with me and determined that my best option due to the layout of the patio would be to call a carpenter (due to aluminum not being applicable in my scenario)I appreciated that even though Built Right Patios could have easily done this job, they were able to really look at the layout and be honest with me regarding what would be best. Very rare to find this kind of professionalism and honesty especially today. read more

Kees did an amazing job on our backyard patio. There was some demo work that he did prior. His crew showed up on time and cleaned our back yard after each day. I love my new patio. It keeps my house cooler and it feels like I added square footage to my house! My family and friends love hanging out in my back yard....now even more so. The custom design with ceiling fans, lighting, and power outlet make my patio even better. This contractor was very easy to work with, friendly, and I was impressed with their attention to detail. They also did a great job cleaning up after themselves....which I'm a stickler for. Thank you Built Right Patios! read more

We absolutely would recommend them to everyone. Very therough and patient. Very resonable prices. We love our patio . Thanks Kees.

Built Right Patios was a pleasure to work with. We had Kees come out two times to go over everything about the patio process. He was knowledgeable and brought products to show us as well as brochure. We decided to go with them and the guys that worked on our house were friendly and courteous to my son and I. They cleaned up the yard daily of scraps which was so nice for me because we have a young toddler and dogs. It took 4 days to install the patio and work with the permit people. The patio look amazing! They do not cut corners at all! Everything is done to perfection and if there is something your not happy with, Kees the owner will come out directly to take care of it. It was also nice to see Kees on site throughout the project managing and inspecting how it's moving along. You should definitely book them if your looking for a quality and stress free patio cover! So I will start out by saying I have not had any work done by built right patios. However I have had nothing but problems with Southern California Patios and called built right to talk about getting an extension on my existing Southern California patio cover. The wealth of knowledge that came from built right patios blew me away. He took the time to give me some helpful tips and tricks and explain to me why I was running into so much of an issue with my previous builder and it's only been a year. Although he wasn't able to help with my specific situation the amount of knowledge that I received was by far more help than anybody else is giving me including my previous builder. I wish I found built right patios a year ago so I could actually have a patio cover done right. If you are looking for a patio cover in this extreme heat of summer I would highly suggest that you look into built right patios not only for their education, experience but their communication and seemingly customer service was top notch and I didn't even pay them a dime. Thanks guys for taking time out to be human. So many larger companies forget where they came from. Biltrite patios has their finger on the pulse of their customers And just taking the time out to explain a couple things to me really made a positive impact. Thank you guys read more

Kees and his crew did an amazing job on our patio cover. If you want a professional installation at a great price, you've found it! We are beyond pleased with the work and excellent customer service with Built Right Patios. Hire this company today! You will not be disappointed. read more

The salesman was friendly and respectful, but wasn't totally honest with us! He tried to get more money by telling us that they couldn't use the footings that we had, and they needed to have 4 footings not 3 footings. That was a lie the 3 footings we have are good and would support the weight of the awning. I wouldn't recommend them. read more

If you're looking for Quality then look no further! Case (the owner of the company) is very meticulous and will make sure your patio turns out perfect. Case, which is the owner of the company, was out there with his crew doing demo and building the patio with his own hands. He and his crew are young, but don't let that fool you they will make sure you are satisfied and he has a good eye for design giving you suggestions. To my knowledge he is the only one that does skylights and they look amazing! I'm glad I went with this company and he always makes time for his clients...A++++ Service and Quality I would recommend him to everyone! Thanks Build Right Patios read more

I highly recommend Built Right Patios. Kees provided a detailed estimate and fantastic design advice. He responded to my texts and calls promptly. No sales pressure. No games. The materials used by Built Right are superior to those used by other builder we contacted. Dan and Adam were fantastic to work with. These gentlemen are know what they are doing. Two patio covers were completed in just a few days, and within the estimated time frame. They went beyond the call of duty. We could not be happier with the results. read more

I want to say Thank you for doing such a great and magnificent job on the Patio Cover. Your company came in and did what you said. you truly delivered. your employees are the best professionals I have dealt with in a long time. your company was a blessing to me and my family. very professional. when I was seeking a company to do my patio cover I pick three out of about 8 around the inland empire then narrow it down to just to Built Right Patio. The first thing was the yelp reviews. 35 five stars. I had to see for myself what the talk was about and what everyone was saying about the work of not only your company but your employees also. when we first meet I let you drive and you was very impressive. so we decide to go with the company. how you explain what you was going to do it and you had the consideration to include my family and not just me when we was designing it. The constant everyday contact and the constant detail when you was building the patio cover. But I have to say you have a worker that was just God sent because he was on point and made sure that everything even the little detail was in place and getting done the right way. He never rush through to get anything done he was very detailed. He is what a company example should be " Great" his skill level is well above and exceeding out of this world. If I have to do it again you best believe me I know who to call and request to have all my patio cover work done by. Built Right. Built right you have the right name for what you do. keep up the great work. you are true in your professionalism. Your word was your bond. Your employees are all around the best I have seen in a long time. I will enjoy your work and show off your work. if I have anyone asking me about a patio. you best believe that I am going to point them in the Right direction. Thank you again for what you done. you are a truly professional and deserve to be in the Patio business. God Bless you and your company and you going to do well. Keep Trusting. read more

My husband and I had called several patio builders and got quotes that were all reasonable and roughly the same price for the same work. We were waiting on Kees to give us a call back and had decided that if he didn't call back within a certain amount of time that we'd go ahead and choose one of the other companies. Kees finally called back and arranged for one of his top builders to come out and show us the product and give us a quote. Boy, are we glad we waited for his call! The man that came out to give the quote (I'm sorry I forgot his name) was great! He was so thorough in his explanation and he took his time to answer our questions. He even showed us insulated patio covers. The other companies never even mentioned insulation as an option. We obviously chose Built Right. We paid a little more for the insulated patio, but we still got a great deal! Kees did a follow up visit to confirm the measurements were correct before ordering our patio parts. He also explained the installation process again. He told me that it would be about 3 weeks before he could install, but he ended up coming out sooner than that and our patio was perfectly installed in 2 and a half days by only 2 men! They did everything Kees said they would do. We are so very happy with the outcome of our patio. It looks and feels great. I highly recommend Kees and Built Right Patios. They are true to their name. read more

My patio was finished in a day! They came early in the morning and worked very efficiently. The work wasn't easy considering all the wiring needed for the lights on the patio that I requested. Built Right Patios was definitely a great choice! I took the time to collect numerous quotes and they by far were the cheapest. I was kind of worried at first, because of the quote which seemed to good to be true, but they delivered the most beautiful product. They also were able to knock out my patio in one day and weeks ahead of when they had scheduled it, even left me spare parts that I requested for other improvements that I wanted to later tie-in to the patio, and cleaned up everything the same day. I am extremely satisfied with the patio and would definitely recommend them! read more
