One outlet broke soon after he replaced it (not his fault; the underlying structure was a bit weak to begin with), and he fixed it right away after (at no extra charge, which I appreciated). The owner Thom was honest, too, when I consulted him about what another electric company said about our circuit breaker and said it was fine. He warned me against predatory practices as done by other companies. His honesty was why I went with Tap and Sons again for the replacement of outlets. Recommended!

My HOA had Tap out to replace several light fixtures and change the manual timers to automatic. The…read morelight fixtures were 2x4" white fixtures (warm light) that were replaced by 6x8" black fixtures (cool light). Tap did replace the fixtures with the proper ones 3-4 later. We had 2 interior wall outlets that worked independently from the exterior light until Tap changed the timers. After 5 weeks they still have not corrected the issue.

We had our breaker box explode and needed a full replacement fast, so we called Sparky along with getting three other quotes. Their salesman Jerry came out to assess the situation and was very informative, direct, and respectful of our time, which we really appreciated during a stressful situation. He explained everything clearly without wasting time. We chose Sparky, and they had two electricians out the very next day to replace the breaker box. Both were professional, efficient, and did excellent work. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. They also handled pulling permits with SRP seamlessly, which took a lot of stress off our shoulders. What really impressed us was that Jerry the sales man followed up the next day to make sure everything was working properly and even stopped by the house to check on something for us. That level of service and follow through definitely goes the extra mile. I cannot speak for every employee at the company, but based on our experience with the three team members we worked with, we were very impressed. This company took advantage of my elderly in-laws and charged them $9k to replace their breaker…read morebox. They charged $1,109 TWICE for a "whole home surge protector" and then charged for a "secondary cover" for $748. This house is less than 1,400sq ft and single story. $743 for the inspection, $702 for 3 GFCI plugs (god knows where bc I can't find them and he never went inside the house), $384 for some bubble cover, no idea. $1800 for breaker repair, $2400 for arc breaker repair. Now something isn't working in their kitchen and they tried to say it would be $20k to fix, then $7,500. The guy left before I showed up because I'm sure he knew he would be called out for his deceptive practices. I am now getting a second opinion on their work and will be seeking at least a partial refund based on the actual cost it should be based on our area. Do not use this company. Research them and you'll find more.

I had my Solatube installed in my home in Nov…read more2017, after much consideration after reading things online where others placed in their homes and the reasons why I decided to place the tube in between my living room and kitchen area (open floor plan home). I couldn't be happier with this product it added additional lighting to an area that is usually dark and would benefit from natural lighting during the day! I placed it in the center of the home due to the natural lighting would lighten up the home more also it would remove the need for using lighting which would ultimately save me money on reduced lighting. The installer showed up on time, he asked me where I wanted the tube and I told him where I wanted the light. I do wish there would have been more communication, asking questions about my needs or even maybe him agreeing it's a great location (although I could have brought this up or maybe if I seemed like I had questions the installer may have explored this more. I still think he should have ask questions as it ensures a good experience and understanding). I was slightly concerned about the lighting possibly adding glare but due to my research it wasn't a huge concern due to the sunlight coming directly down and not at an angle that would affect watching tv or reflecting off any other surfaces. The install was very quick I felt like the guy was only here for about an hour and half. If you're looking for natural lighting, a company that shows up on time and is prompt. I would highly recommend Solar Concepts. I did reach out to their office via email and phone during this process and never had any issues speaking with anyone. What a good experience.
