Because I'm short on time and finding reliable vendors is a hassle, I called him again when I needed roof work on a third rental property. Communication over the phone was so so. He often talks to other people while on a client call or interrupts a call if someone else is calling him. It felt rude and, most importantly, like my time wasn't being respected. What really prompted me to write this review is his comment that he won't leave his driveway without a $100 service call. I already agreed to pay $395 for a full roof maintenance service, which should include inspecting the roof for any issues. Asking for an additional fee on top of that feels like he's trying to take advantage. Proper maintenance work should uncover problems without a separate service call charge. Overall, I wouldn't recommend him if you value honesty, transparency, and respect for your time.

But a few thousand is a few thousand, We are a budget family, only have one provider, my wife, I am on full Disability, so I try to help her with any thing I can, sometimes it hard due to my chronic pain, really takes it out of it, but she is Amazing.. ANYWAYS, back to this ROOF. lol "Davis Roofing", It came down to what ive researched , I narrowed it to 2 companies, "Davis Roofing" . I am very grateful that they took those massive boards/beams out, since they were really warp, so they replaced them, looks great like nothing happened or wasnt repaired. No charge , it was in our quote , so Im guessing they do that for all there customers, and part of there bussiness model , which is awsome and doesnt throw a wrench into the operation of the roof, and extra fees that is already expsive enough, lol... They really want to earn your business. And trust me they go the extra Mile for you. I could go on about there company and met with the owner, nice guy.. I'll take some responsibility for paying the final bill because I assumed they would come back and finish the job. However, considering how much money we paid, I absolutely expected the company to make sure the job was completely finished before considering it paid in full. We have contacted them MULTIPLE times about the unfinished work. We have been told they would come back and take care of it, only for them to never show up. Other times, we've reached out and received no response at all. On top of that, we were never provided with a paid invoice, despite having paid for the work. We shouldn't have to repeatedly chase down a company for both unfinished work and basic documentation after paying them a significant amount of money. At this point, it's incredibly frustrating. The actual roofing work may have been good, but a job isn't truly finished when there are unfinished details, the company repeatedly says they'll come back and doesn't, messages go unanswered, and we still don't have a paid invoice. This could have been a very positive experience, but the lack of communication, follow-through, and professionalism has really changed my opinion. If you hire them, I strongly recommend making sure every single detail is completed, inspected, and documented before making your final payment.
