Incredible...the pho is the best in northeast Ohio, not just Cleveland…read more I grew up literally down the street from Superior Pho, I could hop the fence and walk down the alley, I mean the parking lot was our playground. Everytime I visit my mom, we have to get pho, take out or eat in, doesn't matter. The menu is consistently delicious, curated with family recipes that make Superior Pho stand out amongst the other places in town. Sure it's small, literally off the parking lot (Danford Court) to be exact, but it's well loved and it shows in the eclectic mix of diners and well loved staff. The menu is also simple, but why add too many things that take away from the basics, big bowls of rare meats that cook in broth crafted for hours, you literally just need fresh basil lime and shoots with extra hot sauce to make one's mouth happy. I'm always a sucker for a V1 too, fresh ingredients make all the difference, the vermicelli is delicious as our their tofu rice rolls. On the way out, order a tea, no need to go somewhere else, it's hot and full bodied. Great bang for your buck, centrally located right off the freeway if you panic about coming into the neighborhood and the staff/owners are the best.

She joined us a couple days prior to her wedding to romp around Cleveland and our group of 5 checked out Superior Pho. Delightful. Prompt and friendly service--our server mistakenly put in a 4th bun bo hue soup when we'd only ordered 3, but we brought it to our AirBnB--and excellent food. We ordered 2 bonus bahn mis, per our freind's recommendation, to share table-wide too. Great food. The Bun Bo Hue is mildly spicy for my fellow medium spice tolerant folks. Everything was awesome. If we're back in cleveland, it'll be a spot we go back to.

The bowls are filling and very satisfying. Service is usually quick, and you pay at the front when you're done eating. They have a spacious parking lot (shared with other businesses in the same building), which makes coming here convenient. Overall, solid pho spot with consistent service and quality - highly recommend coming here to satisfy your pho cravings and to support a local business!

No frills, here's the menu, what can I get you. Finally found a spot that had bun bo hue. However, wasn't what I was expecting. Comes in a large Korean soondubu bowl, wasn't expecting that. Soup tasted bland didn't have any richness to it. The hot oil that makes the dish spicy looked to be there but you couldn't taste any of it. But they do load it up with good amount of protein. Would come again to try their other dishes.

The pho came in a large bowl. The portions of broth, noodles, and slices of beef were generous. The broth came out hot, and was rich and flavorful. I only wish the pho came with slightly less onions and the beef came out rare. But the beef was plentiful and wasn't tough. The spring roll was also tasty. It came out hot and crispy. The service was a tad slow but decent overall. Got refills on our glasses of water, and the staff was friendly.

The place is conveniently located in downtown and I was able to walk from my hotel. Summer in Ohio is pleasant, but the restaurant did not have AC inside - oof! The food (specifically the beef broth and the pickled vegetables) was sweeter than I am used to. I loved the bread and the flavor of the grilled pork, though. Overall, I would say give this place a visit if you don't have a car and you want Asian food in downtown!

The chicken was good meat and the sauce was something special. I have had my fair share of pho and you can tell by the taste this sauce is hand made. The gentleman behind the counter was also very pleasant and provided great customer service. Restaurant quality food and the price was fair for the great quality. Can't wait to eat it again ! I already have my favorite pho place, so I'm a little biased when it comes to trying new ones…read more However, this one is definitely going in my top three! I got the pork and shrimp spring rolls, which I immediately scarfed down... I had never had them with pork in it before, but the pork gave it a nice little savory salty that I felt like spring rolls have been missing. I also liked that the veggies in it were more shredded than whole. Big clumps. Gave it a nice texture I should have gotten an order to go. My main dish was a regular size shrimp pho... i'm very picky when it comes to broth, but this one was pretty good. I like the sprinkle of pepper that they add however, I usually like my veggies like my green onions more on the chunky side. It was cool to have some of it shredded. I will definitely be back to this place when I'm in the area. The staff was also very nice.

Just like I remembered, it wasn't very busy when I walked in. This place mostly seems to do takeout orders, though in my opinion, the restaurant has a pretty nice and classy ambiance. I ordered the grilled grape leaf beef rolls ($12), vermicelli bowl with shrimp & charbroiled pork & spring roll ($16), and fried bananas a la mode ($12). The grape leaf rolls were smaller than I expected, but they were delicious. I liked the lemongrass in the minced beef, and I appreciated the rice noodle salad with veggies. It came with a cup of fish sauce, which I doused the noodles and veggies with. The vermicelli bowl was excellent and filling. It came with plenty of noodles, veggies like bean sprouts & cucumbers & carrots & daikon, chopped peanuts, 2 shrimp, a good portion of charbroiled pork, a chopped up pork spring roll, and a cup of fish sauce on the side. I especially loved the pork. It was flavorful and juicy. And the fried bananas were just as scrumptious as I remembered. Hot, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, sweet. The green tea ice cream was just OK (too icy for me), but the fried bananas were delicious. The service was a tad slow, but I wasn't in a rush, so I didn't mind. The staff was friendly.

It's beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting without being over the top. We started with the Thai tea, and it's an absolute must. It's that perfect balance of strong black tea, sweetness, and creaminess--easily one of our favorite drinks and they nailed it here. For food, the beef pho was exactly what you want--rich, hearty, and super comforting. It came with a generous side of fresh condiments so you can customize each bite. We also tried the vermicelli with shrimp and pork, which was just as impressive. It was loaded with fresh veggies like cucumber, carrots, lettuce, and bean sprouts, plus crunchy peanuts and an incredibly flavorful fish sauce that tied everything together. Service was pretty fast even on a busy night, which we really appreciated. They also offer to-go cups for drinks--a small but thoughtful touch. The interior looks much cleaner and modern. They even switch out all the dinnerware and utensils. That's a big plus for me! The staff is attentive and friendly. We ordered a lot, but I was only able to take photos of a few dishes. 1. A10- The salt baked calamari was a 2/5. It came out different from what was pictured on the menu. The portion is really small. There were about 8 pieces of calamari and a bunch of veggies, which you don't typically find in salt baked calamari. Calamari was not crispy and lack in flavor. 2. P2- Pho tai nam was a 4/5. The broth is clear and flavorful. The portion is quite big so you can get 2 meals out of it. One noticeable difference, they offer fresh noodles (wider cut noodles) for pho. I personally like it because it's Northern VN pho style. 3. N1- Banh canh was a 4/5. The noodles were cooked al dente and not clumped together. The broth was very flavorful; however, I was disappointed that it wasn't as pictured on the menu. There should be no chives in banh canh, but it was added to ours. Minus the chives, we enjoyed banh canh the most! Not pictured: com tam suon bi cha trung (C8) was good. It's a big portion and the rice was good and indeed broken as it should be! Bun bo hue (H6) was just mediocre. It was missing the lemongrass aroma. Cha gio (A3) and goi cuon (A6) were good. Vietnamese coffee (G7) was just ok, but the iced matcha latte was delicious!
