These guys were awesome. We worked with them a couple of years ago when we lived in San Francisco. We were remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. They got it on schedule, The work was fantastic. When we were selling our house the buyers were amazed and it really added to our resale value. Honestly the reason I I remembered to write this review is because the buyers sent me a text today asking me who did the work because they have a friend they want to recommend the contractor to. These guys are good don't hesitate to use them. read more

AAA Construction did a beautiful job on our emergency bathroom remodel. We had a leak which necessitated the tile and tub being removed in our old bathroom, so we decided to remodel in the middle of the pandemic. Andre, Art, Alex and the entire team were very professional and finished the job ahead of schedule. I would definitely use them again for future renovations/remodeling. read more

We used AAA Construction over a year and a half ago to complete a project to renovate our Bathroom. Though no contractor is perfect, AAA is one of the best we have come across in working with. The company is professional and follows the rules set forth by the city of SF to ensure that our bathroom was up to code. The quality of their work is really good and they built it out exactly as we had wanted it per the specs of our design partner. What I especially liked about them was that they had a detailed project plan and was transparent as to the cost of each step. They also were very timely in their construction, which as you know, with it being your primary bathroom, is extremely important. There were a couple of issues with communication that we had during the project as well as a couple of billing items, but once we talked to the owner about this over a call we were able to clear things up to everyone's satisfaction. I can tell you that it is definitely not as easy to resolve these types of issues with many other contractors. Our bathroom has been in use for over 18 months now and there are no issues with any of their work and I'm sure that if there were, they would honor their workmanship guarantee. They are highly recommended. read more

I decided spur of the moment to redo my kitchen and contacted AAA based on their Yelp reviews. Andrey was able to show up within 24 hours and get a proposal over to me that same day with a start date the following week. Their team was professional, organized, efficient, pleasant to deal with, respectful of my home and their expectation setting was on point. Everything came in on time, on budget and properly project-managed. They truly wanted me to be happy when it was completed and I would not hesitate to use them again. These are the kind of guys you give hugs to when the job is done. Good peeps. read more

AAA remodeled our master bathroom in 2020. It involved going down to the studs and moving plumbing. Everyone did a great job. We are very happy with the results. read more

AAA did a wonderful job remodeling our 2 bathrooms, so a year later when we were ready to remodel the kitchen we knew we would ask AAA again to do the job. Andrey, Art, Alex, Eugene, and Benny all stayed involved in our extensive remodel and helped guide us through structural hiccups, finding cost-effective solutions. The bidding was an accurate indicator of final cost, and there was no attempt to increase costs later. We appreciated that. We also felt that the team was really committed to high-quality craftsmanship and the work is excellent. When our friends see our kitchen they comment that it looks like it's straight out of a magazine. It does. We love it and we are very impressed by AAA's commitment to our project. read more

We met with close to a dozen contractors and ended up finding AAA Construction & Design in the last hour - we were SO thankful to have found this team and 100% recommend them.  We did a 4-month remodel of multiple bathrooms / floors / electrical in our 2-story townhome and the experience was fantastic. From our first interaction with the team, we were impressed with their communication and the detailed initial quote.  Our project was completed on time and on budget - we even decided to add additional scope because we were impressed with how things were coming along with our initial scope.  The additional scope was billed to us at the fair rate we agreed upon at initial contract signing.   Also, wanted to mention that we lived in our home throughout the construction.  The entire team that would go in/out during the day when we were at work were careful, diligent, and respectful of our home. We have referred AAA to all of our friends and colleagues who are considering a remodel, and we plan to use AAA again in the future if we have other needs.  Thank you again AAA for a wonderful experience - we love our home upgrades!  We never expected to find a team we trusted so much. read more

We had a great experience with AAA Construction remodeling our kitchen and bathroom. They stayed perfectly on budget throughout the entire experience, for which we are very grateful. Other contractors gave us quotes that were significantly more expensive, but AAA's quote was right in our price range, and they provided excellent results. The work was done beautifully. We absolutely love our new cabinets, tile floors and backsplashes, quartz countertops, beautiful shower, and more. Our little condo has been completely transformed, thank you! read more

Art and his amazing team completed a master bathroom and walk in wardrobe remodel a few years ago (The photos are still in his portfolio). They did an incredible job, with the highest level of quality and professionalism. Unfortunately my lengthy review at the time disappeared, however, after a recent kitchen remodel using another contractor (Art was unavailable), it really emphasized how amazing Art and team are! We won't ever do another remodel with anyone other than Art. Mind you after this recent experience, I don't ever want to do another remodel again. Period! read more

AAA Construction did a great job with our bathroom remodel. We would absolutely hire them again! They worked with a sense of urgency and the quality of their work is excellent. The foreman and other workers were friendly and respectful of our house. Andrey's estimate was very detailed and fair. AAA Construction was professional, timely and very communicative, as we did a remodel of our downstairs following a flood. Of all the companies I called to provide estimates for an addition and fire place rebuild, a couple never showed up, a couple never followed up with a written estimate. One of the big companies even sent me an unsolicited estimate without ever coming out to my home, not sure what the story is behind that. Of the companies that did show up, only Art went up on the roof to inspect and evaluate the chimney, roof, and gutters. He also took pictures with his digital camera to show me the current condition. A couple of days later, I received a clearly outlined estimate via email, which I accepted a week later after doing my due diligence by looking up state licenses, and any online reviews. The before and after pictures on his site of past work were also helpful in my decision to go with AAA. Art's crew showed up early and stayed late the first day of work and for the next couple of days Art called to keep me updated on the progress. The finished work is spectacular!. I would definitely recommend AAA to my family, friends and anyone reading!!! read more

This past summer we purchased a home that had to be completely remodeled as it was mostly in original condition of 45 years old. We had several estimates from different construction companies and AAA Construction & Design was competitively priced and any time we had a question in the bidding process, there was always a quick response. We chose AAA Construction, Art helped us to redesign three bathrooms which all turned out amazing. They are beautiful and the tile was set very nicely. AAA installed canned lighting all over the house where it never existed before, they relocated walls and a laundry room, and installed new flooring. He provided great design ideas. AAA Construction also finished in the estimated time that we initially agreed to and his team worked hard and very thorough. We finally moved into our renovated home and enjoying the home. If anything needs more attention, AAA comes right back out to address it. We would highly recommend AAA Construction for any renovation project, large or small. read more

We just completed a sizable remodeling project with AAA and we're very happy with the experience and the results. In fact I'm a bit hesitant to write this review because great contractors are in short supply, and I don't want to share them since I have other projects lined up ;) When Art, one of the partners, came to walk through for the bid, he showed the most attention to detail, know-how and focus on results of all other candidates. That combined with a detailed and competitive quote led us to choose AAA. Although Art wasn't on site daily, he kept track of the progress, showed up at critical stages and dispatched subcontractors as needed. A constant and reassuring presence on site was Eugene, aka Zhenya who acted as the foreman, solution finder, problem solver, and master troubleshooter. We live in an old Eichler home (post and beam, no attic, no crawl space, concrete slab below), so not a single thing about the project was trivial. Yet Eugene put his engineering degree and experience to good use and figured out how to accomplish just about everything with quality and precision. Another major contributor and a true craftsman was Sergey - he did most things plumbing and a gorgeous tiling job. Overall, here's what I think of AAA as a business: they are honest, they are fair, they are hardworking and diligent, and they have a knack for engaging talented and skillful people. read more

We hired AAA about 4 years ago the first time to do our Kitchen, 3 bathrooms, floors, recessed lighting and crown moldings. They did such a great job that it inspired my neighbors who hired them for a Kitchen remodel as well. Then 2 years ago we rehired them to do a stamped concrete patio. Art is really nice, very easy to work with and has such wonderful ideas! Art and his crew were always on time, professional, thorough and quick without cutting any corners. They were so clean during and after the project that all I had to do was enjoy my new outdoor space! Bottom line, if you're in need of a good (insured and licensed) reliable company, AAA is who you read more

Andrey and Art helped us immensely with our project. They are kind and honest people who were straight forward and upfront. We wished we had hired them at the onset of our project, but ended up going with a company that came in a lower in price. We had a horrible experience with the other company and called Andrey to see if AAA could take over. We are so grateful for all their efforts and expertise and would recommend them in a heartbeat. read more

After interviewing 5 contractors for a bathroom remodel, we decided on AAA Construction. We couldn't be happier with our decision and with the remodel. Art and his team did a fantastic job. They helped us with recommendations on tile design, room layout etc. They were very professional, were onsite when they said they would be, cleaned up afterwards etc. I would highly recommend them. As a testament to their work, my wife is so impressed with them, we are now having them do a second bathroom, as it now looks "old and out dated." read more

Choosing AAA Construction was one of the best decisions we made in our complete kitchen renovation in San Francisco. We had never done a major remodel so we had many questions. Andrey gave us good advice at the beginning of the project and a detailed quote. Art managed the project throughout and Sergey was a skilled tradesman. We were impressed with how quickly work moved forward. When we had a project delay (the delay was not within AAA's control), they were flexible and adjusted the timeline. Throughout the whole project, Art and Andrey communicated with us using Google Hangouts so we were always able to get a reply to questions. In addition, they were conscientious about materials and clean up so we had no issues with our HOA or neighbors. We are happy with the final result, and the project stayed within budget. We highly recommend AAA Construction. read more

I've been a property owner in SF over a decade and AAA is the best contractor I've worked with. When I had a timely project come up but my go-to contractor was already full, I surveyed my network and a friend gave a very strong recommendation for AAA. During the first visit, they gave a fair quote and I was impressed with the additional ideas they had for what could be done with the space. Throughout the project (a large remodel of 3 bedroom) I could trust Art (owner/project manager), Andrey (client contact) and their crew with their: skill, competency, customer-centric approach, responsiveness, and reliability. As anyone who has worked with multiple contractors can attest, it's very rare to find a contractor who is excellent at all of those. They did this project during Covid and were always diligent with navigating that additional complexity in a courteous manner. They also don't upsell aggressively. All in all a terrific experience and they will be my go-to contractor in the future. read more

A Royal Rip Off, Shoddy Work, and Terrible Customer Service We contracted with AAA Construction to do a simple bathroom remodel, which turned into an absolute nightmare, ending in thousands of dollars of extra expense, having to tear out and redo much of what they did, and needing to take them to court. I would give NO stars if that were an option. They put a worker on the job, Serge, who was very difficult to communicate with, not only for the language barrier, but also for his attitude. I even let go of several details I was thinking of doing, because it was just so much trouble to communicate. Two other contractors who were on the property for other reasons, (one, who was installing the counters, the other measuring for the glass shower door) looked at the job in process and warned me things were being done improperly. When we asked Serge about it, he got very angry and walked off the job on the spot, never to return, leaving our bathroom torn up, unfinished, with no toilet, sinks, the tile unfinished, no lights, a mess of tiles everywhere, and a big pile of garbage in the garage. I had two follow up calls with Andrey, one of the owners of AAA, in which he denied that anything could possibly be wrong, yet NEVER came out to look at what we were concerned about. Only after the walk-out did I discover that Andrey was only the sales guy, and that Art, the actual foreman with knowledge about how to do things properly had NEVER set foot on the job the whole time. We sought three other bids to finish what they left hanging. All were from licensed contractors and each independently of each other said they would not take the job unless they could rip out and redo the shower as it had been done incorrectly and they couldn't guarantee it wouldn't leak. One said the tiling was "atrocious." Now that we have someone else actually finishing the job, they continue to find more things that were wrong and have to be ripped out and done over. Shoddy work throughout. Unfortunately, AAA got paid for all the hours they worked. We now have to pay $4000 to rip out redo what AAA did and over $3000 to finish the rest of the work they abandoned, a total of $7000. We have written several letters and emails asking AAA to make this right, since they had already gotten paid. No response whatsoever. We are planning to take them to small claims court. I would warn anybody against working with them. It seems like they are more interested in money than making things right. read more

Received four bids and selected Art and his team to remodel our master bathroom. Prior to them starting we decided to have them simultaneously remodel our second bathroom. (funny how these projects snowball :) We kinda blindsided them with that decision but they were very accommodating in completing one bathroom before the other so that we had "conveniences". During the master bath project we had setbacks that involved unforeseen dry rot, inadequate tile materials, etc. They seamlessly (to us) took care of every issue that came up. There were of course some additional charges because the scope of work increased from the original bid. I felt very vulnerable as they could have charged me anything for the additional work. I was very pleased that the additional charges were more than fair. There were no additional charges for things like changing tile patterns, re-positioning switches, and generally making sure everything looked finished. I think they are so seasoned that their bid anticipated homeowners will change their minds and ask for additional touches as the project progresses. They have very positive "can do" attitude and they also cleaned up every day. Art and team, specifically Vitaly were a pleasure to do business with. We'll use them again. read more

After doing research and getting numerous bids over the past few months I just about had it with the overpriced and unprofessional contractors, and was ready to take the plunge. AAA construction was one of the recommendations my friend gave me to call to repair my bathroom that was in dire need of a face lift. Not only was I pleased with how professional their staff was and the exceptional work that they did in a short amount of time but the price was on the lower end of the other quote's that I have gotten. The service was phenomenal and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that is looking for a quick, yet great outcome!! Thank you AAA Construction!!! read more

We chose AAA to be our contractor for our new home build based on the multiple recommendations we received from friends and clients. Andrey and his crew began construction on our new home in November of 2019. Through the pandemic he still managed to come in a week before his projected schedule and under our budget; outside of the extra changes we asked for as add-ons to our original bid, and all while staying within safety protocol. I cannot say enough wonderful things about AAA. Andrey made our build an easy, joyful, stress free experience. Who can say that about building their first home? You can tell that Andrey takes pride in all his projects and ensures every detail is above and beyond. I felt I was in good hands with every decision and Andrey knew when to provide support and when to let me be creative. He and his crew were meticulous, clean, and knocked it out of the park with our home. Six months in and we could not be happier. We are so grateful we chose to work with AAA! read more

We had our bathroom remodeled and it came out outstanding. Everyone that sees it loves it. We had a few people come to look at it and decided on AAA construction. Very recently, we had Art remodel/rebuild our entire kitchen. We took several bids and contacted the references prior to selecting Art. We are extremely happy with his work. and very fortunate that we met Art. He is passionate about what he does, always thought about a solution for any challenge that came up, he thinks out of the box which was extremely helpful in a large project like ours. Art and his crew are very reliable, professional and very pleasant to work with. More than anything else, he treated our house as his own and that made a huge difference. I can't say enough about how wonderful Art was to work with. His enthusiasm and relentless work ethic makes him a great contractor. I highly recommend Art for any construction project and I would do it again and again !!! read more

This year we decided to take the plunge and remodel the kitchen and the main bathroom. The task of selecting a reliable contractor is much like anticipating a trip to the dentist! However, we decided to move forward and selected five contractors to interview for the job. We tossed out the high and low bidders, leaving three contractors to interview. We selected AAA Construction and Design because Art listened to what we envisioned for the kitchen and bathroom. He was on time for the initial appointment, took the measurements, and provided the most reasonable estimate of the three bidders. We were impressed with his knowledge, so we asked him to also bid on the family room and entryway. Art and his crew arrived on time every day, worked continually through the day, and did a good job of cleaning up at the end of the day. His crew was so good, that we asked Art to bid on other areas of the home, turning this into a "whole house" remodel. His crew did very high quality work and they were very thorough in making sure we were satisfied with the quality and progress of their work. We highly recommend AAA Construction and Design for any remodeling job. read more
