Would you pay $74 to repair 3 screens? I did and I'm not happy about a $36 labor charge. $150/hr I'm guessing. What a scam!
    Tim H.

What a joke! I was told $12 labor to repair 3 screens and get charged $73 to repair 3 screens? I could have bought new ones. Nothing but retired gents that can't hear or care about helping customers who ate waiting for service. Stood at the service desk pushing the help needed button. Couldn't find anyone in the store willing to help. Finally got the attention of someone and his responce was, " I was concentrating on the task in hand." When the manager Brian finally showed up his responce was... those are the charges and didn't adjust my bill for the mistake his employee made when I dropped them off. I will never return to another Buikema's Ace again... And recommend you keep your hard earned money in your pocket.

Very reasonably priced you could find maybe some items less expensive and other locations however we're only talking a dollar or two but they also have many items that are less expensive especially when they have all of their clearance items out which is 99% of the time. They give you hands on customer service you don't have employees walking pass you trying to ignore you there to help and assist you and they genuinely care you can tell. I'd recommend any good yelper out there

Waterbed fill and drain kit is better price than Walmart or Amazon. It worked better than I thought it would.

DO NOT GO HERE. You are better off traveling to Menards, Home Depot, or Lowes. They gouge on prices and employees are rude here at Ace.

It's bad to be a month behind on screens. Maybe train some more employees on how to so this service.

It was my first visit to your restaurant though my wife has been here before with friends. Chad was our server. He pleasantly explained the drink and dining menus and took good care of us all evening. My bride had her favorite drink, The French Martini, and you guys nailed it for her! I was very happy with the 2025 Pils. Dinner was amazing, Skirt steak for her, brisket for me with Yukon potatoes following salads for both of us. The quality and taste of the food was great and makes us want to come back and sample other dishes. We received great service and a nice complimentary glass of champagne (with Ho-Ho's) to finish our celebration. At the end of the evening we received a big surprise when Chad came over with news that we had no bill to pay as my wife's daughter and her husband had secretly called to pay the tab! So thoughtful of them to treat us and to top off a memorable meal and milestone in our lives.

Bar program is strong. The short rib pot pie was a straight up winner. Rich, comforting, and not trying to be anything other than good food done right. The bone marrow lost me. Cooked well, but buried under too many microgreens and then oddly topped with tortilla chip strips. No smokiness either. It felt more confused than cohesive. Where it really started to miss was the overall approach. A lot of "the chef intends this..." type explanations. It ends up feeling like the food insists upon itself instead of just letting you enjoy it. That's the bigger issue. This place exists in a space where I don't think most people want to meet it. Not casual enough to relax, not refined enough to justify the performance. Bottom line: good drinks, great pot pie, but the experience tries a little too hard.

To me that would be like wearing the exact same style every season. I used to go to paint stores or superstores to get my paint. I would have to stand in long lines, waiting my turn with contractors and painters. Then I discovered that I could purchase Benjamin Moore paint right here. I've never had to wait. I'm out the door in just a matter of minutes. No more trekking clear out to Rt 59 or waiting in line behind pros who are there to pick up their 20 gallons of paint. I've never even waited in line at all here. But paint aside, 1) They always have what I need, whether it's soil, plants, pots, parts, rakes or picture wire. 2) The store is very convenient to shop since it isn't a mega store. --I don't walk by isles and isles of lumber, carpet, bathtubs and bidets just to buy a screw driver. 3) Excellent customer service. I don't think I've ever been in there for more than a minute before someone asked me if I need help with anything. Next I was on the search for some button style batteries. I was not surprised when Ace came though, again. I was especially pleasantly surprised when they had a cheat sheet of some battery sizes and what numbers to look for on the name brand packaging as some of the numbers had to be referenced against the numbers on the battery. Ace made it easy, again. They come though time and time again. Next time you're looking for a screw or battery, there's only one stop, Ace Hardware.

They offer curbside pickup, delivery, in-store pick up and you can even shop off the app. Social distancing is practiced here and masks are required to enter. For my most recent visit, my husband and I stopped in here to get some wood stain for a desk. We actually didn't know which stain color we wanted yet or brand and as we were peeking around someone came over to help us. They walked us to all the different brands and explained a few differences. The gentleman helping us have us some suggestions on the best way to apply to stain, prepping and drying tips. They were helpful! We ended up buying Minwax Wood Finish Semi-Transparent Dark Walnut Oil-Based Stain, 1 qt. for $9! We were appreciative of the associate's help and the stain worked out perfect for what we needed. Last night their paint machine was broken so I resigned myself to having to come here to JC Licht instead. I cannot believe the stark contrast in service. I like that hardware store, but buying paint there sucks. You always have to try to flag someone down for several minutes and they're never paint experts. Walking into JC Licht, I was almost immediately helped by one of the several employees, despite the place being full of contractors picking up large orders. When I showed the employee what I was painting, she directed me to the paint I should be using instead of the paint I was planning to buy. Despite the fact that there were professionals waiting on large orders, my little $35 can was still valued. I was mixed and out the door in less than 10 min.
