It was my first visit to your restaurant though my wife has been here before with friends. Chad was our server. He pleasantly explained the drink and dining menus and took good care of us all evening. My bride had her favorite drink, The French Martini, and you guys nailed it for her! I was very happy with the 2025 Pils. Dinner was amazing, Skirt steak for her, brisket for me with Yukon potatoes following salads for both of us. The quality and taste of the food was great and makes us want to come back and sample other dishes. We received great service and a nice complimentary glass of champagne (with Ho-Ho's) to finish our celebration. At the end of the evening we received a big surprise when Chad came over with news that we had no bill to pay as my wife's daughter and her husband had secretly called to pay the tab! So thoughtful of them to treat us and to top off a memorable meal and milestone in our lives.

Bar program is strong. The short rib pot pie was a straight up winner. Rich, comforting, and not trying to be anything other than good food done right. The bone marrow lost me. Cooked well, but buried under too many microgreens and then oddly topped with tortilla chip strips. No smokiness either. It felt more confused than cohesive. Where it really started to miss was the overall approach. A lot of "the chef intends this..." type explanations. It ends up feeling like the food insists upon itself instead of just letting you enjoy it. That's the bigger issue. This place exists in a space where I don't think most people want to meet it. Not casual enough to relax, not refined enough to justify the performance. Bottom line: good drinks, great pot pie, but the experience tries a little too hard.

Your aisles make home improvement look so easy, sometimes true, other times not so much. You make me want to channel my inner Tool Time. Sometimes my projects have turned out like Tim the Toolman Taylor did them without Al Borland there to bail him out. My lovely bride a huge fan of HG TV, is always the optimist. She has another project for me, flooring. (If you're reading this review and are scratching your head not getting these references, Google the 90's TV show Tool Time) So what started out as a trip to look for a new chainsaw (hockey mask optional) has turned into another addition to my never ending honey do list. As you can tell, we have many samples to sort through. Once Connie decides on which sample she likes, it will be time to place an order. The staff has been extremely helpful. They have showed us what tools we can either rent or purchase to complete the project. They even gave the option of getting an estimate from one of their installers to see which option would work best for us, do it yourself of professional installation. Once I decide..... ok, who am I kidding..... my wife decides which option we/she decides on, I'll update my review. So far the Home Depot Staff has been outstanding and perhaps this may turn into a 5 star review. Stay tuned.... same bat time... same bat channel.....

    Disappointing Installation Experience - Incomplete Service, Poor Communication, and Lack of…read moreProfessionalism I recently ordered a washer, dryer, and refrigerator from Lowe's and paid for installation of all three. Unfortunately, this experience was frustrating from the start and only got worse as it went on. After placing my order, I realized I had accidentally submitted two orders and was charged twice for delivery. I called Lowe's right away to have it corrected, but the person who answered the phone said they were just filling in and that someone would call me back. No one ever did. On the day of delivery, I received a text saying the crew would arrive at 8:15 AM, so I got up early and emptied out my refrigerator in preparation. However, the team didn't arrive until 10:00 or 11:00 AM, with no update or courtesy call to inform me of the delay. When the installer arrived, he checked the space for the refrigerator but did not check the laundry area at all. I had to ask him directly to verify whether the stackable washer/dryer unit would fit, and only then did he look and say it wouldn't. He then informed me I had ordered an electric unit instead of gas--a common mistake--but he appeared visibly annoyed while explaining it. Because my setup couldn't accommodate electric, I refused delivery of the washer and dryer. As for the refrigerator, I had paid $50 for haul-away service and had already removed all the shelves and drawers to make the process easier. Despite that, the installer was irritated when I reminded him to take them, left fingerprints all over my front door, failed to remove the protective tape from the new refrigerator, and offered no guidance on reinstalling the shelving, leaving one shelf loose inside. Overall, the service felt rushed, disorganized, and unprofessional--from the double charge and lack of callback to the careless attitude of the installer. For the amount I paid, I expected far better treatment and attention to detail. I hope Lowe's seriously reviews how its installation services and customer support are being handled.
