Your aisles make home improvement look so easy, sometimes true, other times not so much. You make me want to channel my inner Tool Time. Sometimes my projects have turned out like Tim the Toolman Taylor did them without Al Borland there to bail him out. My lovely bride a huge fan of HG TV, is always the optimist. She has another project for me, flooring. (If you're reading this review and are scratching your head not getting these references, Google the 90's TV show Tool Time) So what started out as a trip to look for a new chainsaw (hockey mask optional) has turned into another addition to my never ending honey do list. As you can tell, we have many samples to sort through. Once Connie decides on which sample she likes, it will be time to place an order. The staff has been extremely helpful. They have showed us what tools we can either rent or purchase to complete the project. They even gave the option of getting an estimate from one of their installers to see which option would work best for us, do it yourself of professional installation. Once I decide..... ok, who am I kidding..... my wife decides which option we/she decides on, I'll update my review. So far the Home Depot Staff has been outstanding and perhaps this may turn into a 5 star review. Stay tuned.... same bat time... same bat channel.....

Doesn't treat all customers the same... with some he's extra helpful and volunteers important information. With us, it seemed he was doing us a huge favor by us shopping here. People at the cashier stations don't know if the products were brought to the front, if we should carry the box with us, if we should ask or what. Some things you grab off the shelf, some things are brought to you, some things you have to drive around to pick up. If you don't know too bad... waste 30 minutes figuring it out. In the end you're left going to this station to ask for this, to that station to ask for that. Service is slow as hell. Not pleased at all with this business.

We decided to take the trip and it was worth it. The Fox Vally location had the most patio future displays we'd seen and we quickly found the Gensun Grand Terrace set we were interested in. Soon after, Chris (store manager) came to answer questions for us and was very informative on the brand, including pros/cons and comparisons. His knowledge on Gensun alone sold us on the set; but his customer service working thru purchase and delivery were amazing. We had one smaller issue with delivery and he quickly offered a resolution. I would very highly recommend working with Chris at the Aurora store to anyone looking to upgrade their patio space.

After 10 weeks I asked that they reach out to the manufacturer. I was informed that the company did not receive the order. Absent my pestering, the product would never have been delivered. The 2nd order was expedited, but the process was sloppy. I won't shop at this location again. A good business would give consideration for the mistake. I run into the other big residential property managers there constantly as we are all getting more keys made because there is no substitute for a cut-and-buff from Ace Hardware. Unless it's a car key, then go to AutoZone straight across the street. e.g. the public storage owner across the street is just one more landlord with 50+ residential properties in the Village of Lockport. And the receipt price is not what you actually paid because they ask if you want to receive special offers by signing-up. These are BOGOs with steep discounts on the first item. They are also your recycle batteries etc guys. They have those brand-new Ace Hardware buckets that I buy a bunch of as shopping bags. When I show up ASAP on a call with the materials that I suspect and a dozen W. W. Granger catalogs they know that I am professional grade, that I can be trusted Spiritually, that I will do the job in A Workman Like Manner.
