Well, he told me none of my vents were screened, told me all the covers on my less than year old home were plastic. Fortunately I had my home inspection for my 1-yr warranty the following week so I decided to wait to see what the inspector said so I could have the builder cure anything possible. Absolutely zero evidence of anything having been in my attic, zero entry points. Inspector confirmed the covers on the vents are metal and not plastic and that every single vent is already screened. I'm not sure what the guy from A-Tex saw but I trust my inspector more. Just to be safe I had another estimate from a pest company done and they confirmed what my inspector said. Very disappointed and confused about what feels now like a scare tactic with this company. I've never experienced a critter situation before so I felt trusting but now I know to get a second opinion for stuff like this always. I'm sure they help people but my personal experience will keep me from considering them again in the future.

I know very little about trees but the son was nice and patient enough to walk around and point out issues with other trees that I didn't know about. When the guy they contracted out to remove the tree stumps didn't come, the son personally came out and I really appreciated how responsible that was. My closet still smells of a combo of dead animal and the deodorant they left in there to mask the ghastly stench. I had to close the door to that bedroom and not use it for 3 months without gagging running in to quickly get something. No apologies or compensation. This time it was for insect control in the kitchen and surrounding areas. The scheduler set the appointment and gave me a 4 hour window of time. That time came and went. I even paid someone to be present when they came because I could t stay the full 4 hour window of time. So I called chemfree an hour after the window of time, asking where he was. She said he was running late. Then called me back several minutes later to say she mixed the days up and it was actually the next day. Same time window. So I said as long as it was after noon and not earlier because I'd be on a Zoom call for work and couldn't answer the door during the call, much less have a lengthy conversation with someone needing me to explain the problem. He showed up 2 hours early and knocked and rang the bell for a good 15 minutes right as I was just beginning the call. It was very interrupting and hard to focus during that time on what I was saying on the business call with all the knocking a scribging. I simply couldn't answer the door to even talk through the security camera because I was on a business call. Turns out he was just there to talk about it and not actually do the job. So that was enough of my time wasted and a sign that it wasn't a good match that they couldn't respect my time I had made for them by not showing up when they said they would. Initial cost would've been $200 and a monthly payment and a contract.
