First off, the staff was amazing! They were all so nice!!! I got a cheeseburger meal to dine in and was NOT disappointed. The burger was cooked perfect, the fries were delicious and I was so excited to see Lawry's seasoning on the tables! I live in Chicago and have never seen this as an option lol. Came up for a visit while camping in Palo Duro canyon. The giant breakfast burritos and French toast carved us up for our hike! Hands down best French toast I've had!! This will be a regular stop next time we're in town. read more

The burgers are fantastic. Sweet, juicy, and made to please! The French fries are some of the best in town! Cherry limes are deliciously tart. Definitely would suggest to friends. Just make sure to ask about seating, it's mildly inconvenient. read more

Saddened by the previous restaurant closing and Buffs opening, I was skeptical stepping in. Hospitality radiated throughout the restaurant from the moment I walked in. A delectable array of options on the menu for meat eaters, I was afraid to order just sides, Staff was more than willing to bend to my vegetarian lifestyle. The mushroom and queso (meatless) burger will forever be a must have for myself and those who have dietary needs or just want to step out of their comfort zone and ditch the patty.By far the best burger i've had! The burritos are delicious (I suggest the sausage)! The breakfast on a bun (I suggest the ham BOB) is AMAZING!!!! The only issue I would voice is that there is usually an issue with our order anytime we call in food for pickup. The common issue we run in to is that the person taking the order over the phone wasn't paying attention to what we ordered. The biggest frustration I have with them is that when I call and let them know they messed it up the response is "Oh sorry you can come back up here and we can get you another one" AFTER I have driven 15 miles back to our house (this actually happened to us just this morning when we called in our breakfast order). The food is good don't get me wrong but I would DEFINITELY suggest eating there! read more

It's good. It's sort of like a high end McDonalds. You pick your food up at the counter, get your own silverware, clean up your own table, but the food is better than McDonalds for sure. I'm a bit confused by the tip section on the receipt because there isn't really a waitstaff. read more

Food is good but service is not. We've gone here 3 times and every time it's gotten worse and worse. The third time we took our grandmother to eat and they lost our order after 30 mins of waiting they then gave us a $5 gift card and we had to wait another 15 mins for food. read more

They just started serving breakfast a few weeks ago !! We are from out of town and will not be eating anywhere else when we come to visit. The staff is friendly and very helpful and the food is delicious !! The serving sizes are huge, you will not leave this place disappointed !!! read more

This is a great small town restaurant. We have had it several times and have loved everything that we have had!

I called in an order for lunch and was told it would take 20 minutes. Which is fine. I went to pick it up and when I got home, my food was very cold, and the fries looked like they have been sitting there for days. They were very cold and hard and not appealing. I feel like I wasted my money going there. This is the 2nd time I been disappointed in the food at this location. Will not be going there again. read more

Have had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and the food is always awesome. Their fries and chicken strips are the best ever. Husbands favorites are the burger and steak fingers! Everything is made fresh and nothing is ever frozen. May take a little longer to get it ready but it is worth the wait! Their breakfast burritos and chicken and waffles are also the best ever. I just moved to Canyon last weekend and was so excited to be able to have Taco Villa anytime I wanted, but was ready to try something new. Yesterday I had lunch at BUFF's and it was TO DIE FOR! I knew they brought in fresh potatoes from the potato farm in Dalhart, because that's where I lived, but what they do with them is what was so good... they are cut so thin and I had them with their HOMEMADE QUESO and the portions were so generous I had plenty to bring home with me... and guess what I had for breakfast this morning?! LOL!! I also had the PATTY MELT and the cook told me that they only use 100% local, fresh beef in all of their burgers, and I believe him... everything was grilled to perfection and very cheesy and juicy! He also said their bread is baked fresh from a local bakery. Having been a business owner myself, I can really appreciate when businesses support each other, even though many times it takes extra effort to do so. If you are looking for a casual, family friendly little diner... this is it! I'd say it is the best kept secret in Canyon, but apparently it's no secret! read more
