Beef tips with fries, with iceberg lettuce "garnish". Meat was OK, fries were mildly warm.

Spent the day in Old Forge, wife and daughter wanted to eat at the Buffalo Head on the way home. First sign of impending trouble was the lack of vehicles in their parking lot. The inside of the building looks and SMELLS like 1950. A waiteress seated us and took our drink orders, came back with drinks and then took our dinner orders. She came back once again with some warm rolls and butter, and then left. There were no plates or anything, so we had to use our napkins as plates . When our food came out, it was a fellow that either managed or owned the place (I assume) that brought out two meals, then asked my 20 year old daughter "you didn't order anything?"...Ahhhh, YES! He went into the kitchen for a bit, then came out with her food. In the meantime, my wife bit into her scallops...ice cold! As well as the scoop of mashed potatoes on her plate....had to send those back for a warm up. Not to mention her side dish ( green beans) that had to be asked for three times before they were brought out. They were warm, but looked like they were fresh out of a can. The "garnish" on the plates was a sprinkle of iceberg lettuce... It was SUCH a disappointment, because I have been going there for 50 years, when my parents used to take me as a child. It was always a big deal when we went to the "Buffalo Head". The manager did apologize, it just seemed like the whole staff was not organized in any way. Our original waitress DID return when it was time to pay the bill, and said "Sorry, I was in the other room with another party".... Not a problem, just won't spend my hard earned money there any more.

The restaurant was quite on a week night but the food and the service was great. Just as it was many years ago.

Gave me raw chicken in my chicken parm, quickly got me another one. Worse part is they still made me pay full meal.

I ordered the Steak and Shrimp Skewers, which came with a side, so I got the garlic mashed potatoes. My boyfriend went with the regional specialty - Utica Riggies - a creamy, spicy pasta dish that is typically made with chicken. You could choose shrimp, chicken, or sausage, so he went with the sausage and ordered it medium heat. We both really enjoyed our dishes! They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area!

Our waitress was nice enough - she was also the bartender. We came here to try the wings - which were highly recommended to us. We tried to order the wings, and they were out of both the bone in and boneless wings. Bummer. I tried to order an entree, and they were out of that as well. Ended up ordering the chicken parm. My husband ordered the steak with creamy risotto. We split the fried mozzarella to start. Our meals came with side salads which were mostly onion and served with a very thick ranch dressing (almost like a veggie dip.) Not the worst salad I've had, but weird. The fried mozzarella turned things around for us - this was absolutely delicious. Thick, crispy, triangles with an incredible cheese pull on top of marinara sauce. My chicken parm was MASSIVE, and it was also super delicious. The marinara was good, the chicken was fried and crispy. My husbands steak was perfect. It was thick, well seared, and cooked just the way he likes it. The side of creamy risotto left a bit to be desired, but the steak made up for it. Overall, the food was good but the atmosphere was a bit strange. It was very quiet and bright in the dining area. It felt uncomfortable being the only two in the restaurant and the music was dead quiet on top of that. I can't say that we would come back, but the food was good! It left us wondering why the restaurant was so empty!

Even with how crowded it was, the service was absolutely top notch from start to finish. Attentive, professional, and well-paced without ever feeling rushed. The ambiance is classic upscale steakhouse with a modern feel, lively but still comfortable enough for conversation, making it a great spot for a business dinner or group outing. We enjoyed bottles of great red Merlot, which paired perfectly with the meal and added to the overall experience. We started with a Caesar salad that was very fresh and served with anchovies, which in my opinion is what makes a true Caesar and it did not disappoint. I ordered the sea bass, which had a really cool presentation and was cooked nicely. It felt elevated and thoughtfully prepared. The lobster bisque looked beautiful presentation-wise but was just okay in flavor. It lacked depth and richness and I found myself rushing through it. The family-style sides were excellent and more than enough for our party of six. The creamed spinach and mushrooms were both very good and everyone at the table loved them. As for the steaks, everyone was extremely happy. Our group tried a variety of the available cuts and each one was cooked properly and thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, TS Steakhouse delivered a great dining experience with excellent service, strong ambiance, quality food, and standout sides. I would definitely return, especially for a group dinner or special occasion.

The bar was full, and the food was looking and smelling delicious. We were seated fairly quickly, despite the mayhem. We were given warm bread and butter to start, but we also shared garlic scallion clams. The clams were warm, buttery, and super garlicky. And the bread was great to dip into the extra sauce! I ordered the French onion soup, which was packed with cheese and had a great broth. My Husband got soup with his entree, and he got the soup of the day which happened to be corn chowder. The chowder was super thick and had lots of veggies. He said it was delicious. My Husband got the Delmonico steak as his entree, which came with a twice baked potato and veggies. The steak was cooked perfectly and was smothered with mushrooms and onions. I had entree envy. I got the open faced roast beef with fries. My roast beef was thinly sliced and piled up on top of a toast slice. My fries and beef were drowned in gravy - just the way I like it. Overall, we had a great dinner. Our server was nice and extremely attentive even though she was running around to everyone! This was great restaurant, and if I were local I would be a regular.
