A really good portion of delicious food, at a good price, from good people. Our server Becky was outstanding. She was welcoming and warm, and she led us to the right things on the menu: steaks. It seems like what they do best here, and we went for the garlic sirloin, the Delmonico, and for me, the chocolate, balsamic, and bleu cheese covered NY strip. Yeah, it sounds a little weird, but I felt like you don't put something like that on the menu unless you know it's good, and it was. The steaks were cooked properly, seasoned properly, and honestly a pretty massive portion as well. The menu said 16 oz, I wouldn't be surprised if it was more. I can't remember the last time I didn't finish a meal, but I took a little bit of it home for a snack later on. That's probably because they also come with soup and salad, which leads me to another reason Timeless Tavern is my new favorite place: The Chicken Riggy. It's a tomato-based, creamy, hearty chicken soup with rigatoni in there, and I was legitimately blown away by how tasty it was. As soon as I had a bite, I knew we'd be coming back here whenever we're in town. It was rich, and flavorful, and unexpected. Also, I absolutely love that almost all the salad dressings are homemade. Parmesan peppercorn? I'll always get that. I've written a lot here, but the moral of the story is that I love this place. The food is great, the people are great, and it seems like a fun and lively spot to just come for a drink if you aren't hungry. Best of all, the prices are super reasonable.
