Nice place to come and escape the summer heat. The staff is friendly. They have updated some by adding screens on the back walk. It's nice that you can easily see what lane to go to and it's animated.

While visiting friends in NC, all the kids realllly wanted to go bowling so after some researching, we came across these lanes. We went on a Friday afternoon after grabbing some lunch. The place wasn't crowded at all. We had purchased some games on Groupon and had no issues redeeming them while we were there. We were given two lanes (one for the parents, one for the children) side-by-side. One lane had bumpers available, the other didn't. I'm not sure if one was broken, but obviously, us adults didn't need bumpers (well...maybe some of us did??) Needless to say, we had a blast. The music was good, the lanes and seating area were spotless. I recalled not smelling anything funky...that's always a plus! Additionally, the bathrooms were pretty clean and this is VERY important to me. I can't speak on the food since we just had lunch, but note to all- this is an alcohol-free establishment.

Had a nice time at this bowling facility. Didn't even know it existed since it's hidden behind businesses. Went bowling with all adults and realized no alcohol was served. They sell snacks and sodas. Everyone working there was friendly and the bowling alley is kept up. Family friendly, bowling prices are reasonable and they have 2 arcades for the kids.

Weekend bowling rate: 10 PM - 1 Am $10 per person including shoes.

This is a great place for a large group! The Saturday night rates are of great value. My only complaint was the wait time. We showed up at an awkward time where they were transitioning between their evening and night rates so had to wait good 40 mins before we could start bowling. So, if you decide to go on a Saturday night, either go before 9 with ample time for you to bowl or go past 9 PM giving yourself time to stay on a waitlist and start bowling. They close their lanes by 9.40 and open it again at 10 PM for night bowling. The bowling rental shoes were clean but they run large so, ask for a size smaller than what you typically wear. Food is your typical run-of-the-mill bowling alley affair. We were a group of 5 and shared the tater tots and onion rings and they were both pretty good. I would definitely not mind going back again.

Staff members were nice but the owner herself who also makes a presence in customer interaction was not very nice.

I will be forwarding this review to Tony Khan and the TKO group. This place is an absolute disgrace to any establishment. I'm sitting here still and let's see how much it gets worse. Oh ya. Frankie's Review - 3/5…read more While in town, we decided to visit Frankie's after it was recommended to me by my boss, and this time I had my husband and 12-year-old son with me. Overall, it was a nice way to spend time together as a family and gave us something fun to do during our visit. Frankie's offers a good variety of attractions, and my son especially enjoyed the rides, including the claw, roller coaster, and zero gravity experience. We also played putt-putt golf, which was enjoyable, though I personally found the course a bit less challenging than similar places I've visited before. The road course was also on the shorter side, but still fun for what it offered. One thing I would note is that the pricing felt a bit high, particularly for the arcade games and rides, especially considering some of the experiences are fairly brief. We also found the pizza to be a little overpriced, so we chose other food options as well as their burger and Philly cheesesteak. Unfortunately, one part of the experience that stood out in a less positive way was the customer service around some of the attractions. Several of the attendants seemed very nonchalant and disengaged, almost as if they were not very happy to be there. That kind of energy can affect the overall atmosphere and, for me, made it less likely that I would return or recommend it. We also had to wait for attendants to assist with some of the more interactive 3D-style games, which interrupted the flow of the experience. That being said, one of my personal favorites ended up being the carnival 3D shooting game, even though we did have to wait for an attendant before we could play. Once we got on, it was definitely one of the more enjoyable parts of the visit for me. On the positive side, it was not crowded during our visit, which made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. I especially enjoyed spending time in the arcade with my family, and that ended up being one of the highlights of our visit. I also want to mention our experience in the bar area with Olivia Jackson, who provided such warm and pleasant service. She was courteous, attentive, and truly showed genuine Southern hospitality. Her kindness and professionalism made us want to stay longer, and we ended up enjoying our food and family time even more because of her. She was definitely one of the bright spots of our visit. Overall, while I have visited similar entertainment venues that I personally enjoyed more, Frankie's still provided a decent family outing and a different experience while we were in town. I would rate it 3 out of 5 stars.

On Mondays their drink special is $5 for any draft, what a steal! We all enjoyed a drink and a few games. I love the decor and vibes in Boxcar, the artwork is really punk and cool looking. Tokens are reasonably priced and older style arcade games only take 1- the more interactive or multi player games (think air hockey, basketball, dance dance etc) take 4. They have free popcorn, daily drink specials, and drinks were very reasonably priced. Despite being fairly busy, service at the bar was friendly and fast- I was impressed! Not much else for food here from what I can tell, so don't plan on having your meal here. I brought two teenage boys and we hung out for almost 2 hours- I think I spent about 40 bucks including tokens and a couple of drinks for myself. I really liked the street art vibe, especially all of the murals and the Instagram wall. They've done a great job with ambiance! The outdoor patio adds a lot of additional chill space. When we were there they didn't have a band playing, but I think they do often. I almost want to give it 5 stars, but several of the games were not working properly and ate our tokens. That say you can grab someone to fix them, but nobody appeared available, and I wouldn't have wanted to bother them multiple times anyhow... Would be great if they were proactively checking and fixing them. More snacks would be great too! Other than that it was a really great experience, I would definitely go back.

My favorite from Yellow course was the zip line, red course was the slippery floor and the Rocket , and blue course was the bus and pool table. Each course & hole had an activity thaw was an interactive experience. The cost for this activity was $16 for all 3 courses per person, great price for this experience. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I didn't eat but definitely bring a water bottle as they have refill station near the bathroom. The bathrooms were clean as well as the inside & on the courses. Employee was dusting the course in between people finishing their shots. The parking lot was huge, so definitely plenty of parking. I had a great time and definitely recommend, if you're looking for a fun, unique activity. Cheers

The electronic scoring and automatic bumper bowling are convenient features and staff is always at the ready when a slow-pitched ball from a little one doesn't quiiite make it all the way. The food is what you might expect and there are a decent amount of choices from pizza and wings to French toast and nachos. Little Mister is a fan of the French toast and you have the option of ordering it with either cinnamon and sugar or powdered sugar. Well, I suppose you could order it without any sugar at all since you can dip it right into the glorious liquid sugar called maple syrup. Or maybe it is high fructose corn syrup that tastes enough like maple syrup to pass with flying colors. The nachos are sufficiently okay. They get soggy under the cheese, and the chicken is flavorful but nothing to write home about. The potato skins are great dipped in sour cream and you can order them without bacon if you prefer. There is also an arcade that can swiftly devour your funds. Many of the games offer points that can be redeemed for treasures in the arcade store. Ultimately, you can spend a bundle of cash to win enough points for a tootsie roll. I'm exaggerating. But not too much. There are games like Wicked Tuna where you can test your virtual fishing finesse, or Jurassic park where you can blow virtual raptors into oblivion. There's even a good ole hoop-shooting game that tests your basketball skills and gives you points for your athletic prowess. Overall, BLS is a great place to unwind and have fun. Call ahead to see if they have open bowling. They usually do but if not, there's always the arcade if you want to lighten the burden of carrying all that cash in your wallet.
