I placed an online order through the restaurant's website for lunch. When I arrived to pick it up, no one was present at the front counter. I was first in line, and a few other customers and I waited for about five minutes before someone came out from the kitchen. Although she seemed rushed, she was kind and helpful. She assisted the customers behind me first, since they were dining in, and then retrieved my order. The establishment itself is very open with plenty of available seating. There are numerous TVs displaying various games, as you would expect in a restaurant and bar setting. The lighting is dim but sufficient, and the large windows along the front of the building bring in natural light. The recent remodel has made the space feel noticeably larger and more inviting. Once I returned to my office to eat, I noticed that the dressing for my salad was missing. Fortunately, I had some extra dressing at work. Other than that, the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at this location and will not be returning. Let me explain... Upon entering the restaurant, the hostess was very accomodating while we looked at nutritional information to suit our needs. That was the end of our positive experience. We were seated and our waitress came over, and took our order. We then proceeded to wait another 45 minutes before our food came out. We were never given an update or explanation as to why it was taking so long, until we asked (waitress did not offer one of her own volition) and were told that "she" was checking on the wrap that was ordered. Finally, after watching patrons who arrived long after us get their food, we got our orders. Hallelujah! My entree was decent enough but the salad...ugh. Somehow BWW found a way to put stale croutons in the Caesar salad. I was not aware that it was possible for croutons to go stale. Now I know. After waiting forever for our food, the waitress came back immediately after I started my salad (after finishing the main) to ask if we were ready for the bill. We said no. Was in here may 2nd around 6pm and while our server was wonderful, the server that was non stop talking at an obnoxious level behind us made our date night absolutely horrible. I really almost feel bad for writting this, but every restaurant has that one server who is completely obnoxious and this was one, we both left with a headache sadly. Her fake service laugh just kept getting louder and louder and she stayed chatting at the table right behind us almost the entire duration we were there. Please BDUBS, this is one of our favorite frequented places to go but with this server being obnoxious it's hard to really enjoy it. As everytime we are here it seems she is but this last time drew the line for us. She always wears pink eyeshadow and literally cackles......not laugh but ear screeching cackles. Management should have zero problems pin pointing who we are referring to. We noticed the table beside us also covering their ears as it was too much for them as well. I took my family to eat at this location last week. The food was okay wasn't horrible but not the best. My waiter definitely made the experience better. I think the waiter's name was cesa. She made sure our drink stayed full and took care of us she was a very respectful and a nice young lady. The food here is hit or miss and more on the miss side. It's usually ice cold. Seems like the food sits out for long periods before being ordered/served. The bar area has phenomenal service just lower quality food and poor kitchen staff seems to be the issues here. I understand being a server is difficult at times but being completely rude to customers is unacceptable. I had to have my mixed drink remade due to it being straight syrup, I'm guessing this was a big deal. As I was waiting for my drink to be remade I hear the bartender and server talking badly about me. Which is my first complaint to this horrible place, secondly the food was awful burnt and soggy. Worst dining experience in my recent memory. It was nice this location wasn't crowded because we needed a quick meal on the way home from Mississippi but boy were we majorly disappointed. It started with a wait staff that didn't seem to care if we were there or not. I can tell you we are very low maintenance diners. Keep the water glass full, don't hover and smile. Our waitress was rude, short and once her "girls" arrived we couldn't get her attention again. Her girls were sat at the table next to our table and all we saw was her back side the rest of the night. Normally we are big BWW fans but the food was horrible. My wife has a salad with tenders - the salad was delivered with a hair prominently displayed on top and she had to ask twice for someone to bring her sauce for her tenders. Again our server didn't bring the sauce we caught someone walking by. My son had a wrap that he believes was bare and tasteless. He was not impressed at all. I ordered 12 wings - 6 Caribbean Jerk and 6 Hot Traditional Wings. all wing sections were the middle part of the wing with no meat. The sauce was dried on the top which makes me believe they were sitting around in the back and they were not temperature hot or warm for that matter. Another thing that really annoys me is they had 2 parties of about 8 come in while we were there and they moved the tables in such a way that we had to walk all the way around the restaurant to get to the bathroom. Very poor planning on the staffs part. I ask to see the manager and apparently she was busy (for 20 minutes) so we left. We got off to a bad start when the hostess took forever to seat us, even when they weren't very busy. She had a bad attitude, and eventually told us to just go sit in a booth. Our actual waitress was ok, but we didnt see her much. Another employee brought food to our table, but just piled it all in the center of the table, and left it to the two of us to sort it out. I came with my daughter. I spent over 50.00 for cold food and poor service. We ordered boneless wing and wedges for my daughter and I got chicken sandwich and a order to go. Out server brought her wings and my sandwich. No silverware no wedges. When he finally came by I asked for silverware and her wedges. He left and came back with silverware and said they just dripped her wedges. He brought wedges by that time her wings were cold. He finally brought check and asked if I need a pin to sign I told him yes. He said he would have to go get one. He's a server without a pin. It wasn't even busy in there. He was not friendly. No wait, which for us was nice since we were traveling and the BWW in Independence is always packed! No wait should have given us a clue!! She brought our drinks and disappeared. I wouldn't say we waited overly long for her to come back but there was an edge to this girls attitude that was a tad annoying. She took our orders and we were brought our food by another waitress because by that point some customers had been sat next to us and our waitress was obviously friends with and she stood with her back to us or sitting with them for the rest of our eating experience. My salad arrived with a hair. I sat with that salad in my hand waiting for our waitress to turn around for at least 5 minutes. When another waitress passed by my husband grabbed her and she took my salad to be replaced. I also got tenders but wanted to eat my salad first so of course by the time I ate them they were pretty cold (never mind that they were pretty small). When my salad did arrive I asked for the sauce that had not been delivered either - which the other waitress delivered. Ugh... Not one of us (three) enjoyed our meal. So disappointing. I guess I have to give this a star because the place exists, but we cannot rate the food because we were never seated. We initially headed back to find a seat at the bar, after realizing people were smoking and there were full ash trays, our lungs told us to go back up to the hostess to be seated. There we found the same people we passed when we came on that had not been seated. Finally the hostess came up to seat them ( in the mostly empty dining room), then she disappeared. We waited for a couple minutes then my husband went back to use the restroom, and saw the hostess sitting at a table with friends. This made our decision to leave. The options in Sikeston are scarce, but we thought Buffalo Wild Wings would be a consistent option, but we were wrong. And someone should tell the managers they'll lose more customers when they allow smoking then when they don't. A smoker can step outside, have a cigarette, and get back to their meal.
