Super fun place!! And the typical diner food, burger, fries, tots, onion rings, & handmade milkshakes were exceptional! Morgan was running the diner during our visit & her friendliness & attentiveness was above & beyond! Great place to eat, even better place for a Family Fun Retro experience!!

Worth the detour off the highway for this hidden gem while traveling. Only 1 sweet older lady working but we ate late evening and were the only customers in the place, so we got our food quick and hot. I highly recommend the sunrise skillet and a waffle. We will definitely be stopping again if we are ever back in the area and hungry.

Yep it's a good one out there... pretty chilly in the restaurant so you might wanna bring a jacket

Not a lot of choices for breakfast in Dexter so if it's eggs and bacon or some heavy pancakes that your craving then give this old fashioned diner a try. Reasonable prices. Located by the Oak Tree Inn and behind the Tapatico Mexican Restaurant.

What a nice little diner with good food and excellent service. This place really shines in a city where there are few choices.

Try the "big pig" scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham. If I were local, I'd eat here all the time. Open 24/7 too!

Lots of great favorites including meatloaf, hamburger steak, wings, fried chicken gizzards and livers, homemade desserts, including cobblers and banana pudding, etc, etc, with all the homemade sides and vegetables that you can imagine. And then there are the "throwed rolls." Hot with butter, honey, gravy, sorghum molasses, and more. Great service and down home country ambiance to spare. Don't go expecting fancy, but I guarantee you won't leave hungry.

The staff were friendly as usual and our server was really good and the place is clean as usual! The salmon patties were really good, I'd order them again. The food, overall, seems to be not well mixed with salt. My husband's chicken and dumplings had an inedible layer of just pure salt. He mixed everything up and it was better but the shock of a mouthful of salt lingered for the rest of the meal. The fried potatoes pass around had the same issue. This is still very much so a tourist destination and a once in a blue moon trip for us when we find ourselves in the area. The allure of the "throwed rolls" and pass arounds is enough to keep this place an option for us, especially since we're learning what not to order.
