My favorite go to place for breakfast! They serve breakfast all day. If you're real hungry, order hillbilly hash. A little bit smokey

This is our go-to for a good and fairly quick lunch when down in Poplar Bluff area. Service was…read moregreat today, quick and friendly which is always a big plus. I got the club and it was one of my favs off their menu so far. It was toasted and the cheese was perfectly melted-REALLY GOOD!! I just wish they had Diet Dr Pepper or Coke Zero but oh well I guess I shouldn't drink sodas anyways so not too big of a deal. The place is great inside, super clean and modern farmhouse vibes going on in here with home-made desserts that I have never tried.

The place is nice and modern looking/loud with the noise traveling all over like a noisy bar. The menu is good with something for everyone and we had a burger and country fried steak and I can only review the country fried steak. The service was that southern US slow but ok. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. The country fried steak was bigger than the average and hot from the fryer with a nice crispy crust. The steamed broccoli was slightly better than room temperature with a little crunch left in it and not total mush. The mashed potatoes were cold straight from the fridge for some reason like leftovers. My plate had chips on them that I would have thrown away in my kitchen. The water cup was a cheap plastic cup with a heavy a chlorinated taste in the water and not drinkable. Overall my lunch was disappointing for a restaurant with such a high number of reviews which I feel is fake compared to other restaurants in town.

I waited to give my review of the new IHOP/Applebee relaunch here until after I came back a second…read moretime. They still need a lot of work. Inconsistent food, slow kitchen, and disconnect between the kitchen and service. Orders come out without any organization or timing. We put in our order and waited over 20 minutes for our food, meanwhile, the table behind us was seated while we waited and their food came out before ours. When the food did arrive it was lukewarm and you could visibly see it was dry from sitting under the lamps for a long period of time. My husband's steak was overdone and dry, the edges of my omelette were dry and crispy from the lamps and they forgot the sauce on my omelette I was charged extra for. The system isn't working. They have wait staff that take orders and get drinks, kitchen staff cooking food, and food runners who bring the food out without know who or what was ordered. Breakdown in communication and no accountability makes it a poor experience for the customers. The remodel looks nice and the breakfast menu is small but welcome to a town that has extremely limited Sunday breakfast offerings. The staff is friendly but not problem solvers. Nothing was said or offered when I brought our issues to our server not even removing the sauce that was missing from the bill, yes, we still had to pay for what I didn't get. They crammed a family of 7 into a table for 4, so cramped I couldn't see where they were going to set plates. I suggested to our waitress they move the table next to them together for more room (a party had just finished from doing this so I know it could be done) she said she couldn't but would relay it to another. Yea when we left they were still sitting on top of each other and they sat a couple of 2 at the empty table so nope no consideration for guest comfort. The first time we went I brushed off the errors as they had just reopened but now they've been up and running for over a month and plenty of time to fix the bugs. We won't return, it isn't worth it I would rather drive out of town for a good meal experience.
