The absolute worst managed establishment I have ever been in! We sat at the bar and bartender was setting up the bar complaining that no one did their job last night, it is 215 pm?? No greeting no smile no menu?? After 10 minutes we asked for drink menus and ordered and she replied "we don't have that" with a pouting crabby face. We finally ordered a drink and she continued with her tasks ignoring our order. She returned with the drinks and set them as far from us as possible without a word While this was occurring two other servers were spitting stews at each other on the serving floor. We had to ask for a food menu and the food had mold on the celery so we asked for new celery, and received dagger eyes and sighing as well as rolling eyes. Apps were inedible and moldy sides so we asked for a check. We were given an incorrect check (2 drinks and a $9 app and the bill was $55. I asked for an itemized bill and bartender looked at the computer told me she needed my card again and with no explanation or apology took my card into the kitchen got a coworker who ran my card AGAIN and she handed me a different check but no explanation or apology. Food was pretty good--what you'd expect from Buffalo Wild Wings. The only downside was the wait; we sat at our table for about 30 minutes before we got a server. (Mind you I had to go back up to the "host stand" and ask if we even had a server because all of the servers were just flying past us as if we were invisible only 1 of them asked if we had been helped) Once we got Jaime as our server though, he was great and very attentive, he made sure we were taken care of. Would we go back ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! The experience wasn't great overall, but our server definitely helped make it a little better. Thank you Jaime ! We tried to order from this BWW using the app but kept getting an error message. I called into the store to ask if I could place the order over the phone since their app wasn't working. They said I could but they would not honor the app prices (which had deals going on right now). I was told the app issue was a known problem that some customers were having and some customers weren't. But that I should "call corporate BWWs if I have a problem with it." Overall, disappointed by the customer service and the rude tone taken with me by the employee for just trying to order over the phone since the app was not working. Ok! I know your getting tired of my BW reviews. My husband and I are so hopeful the BW of old will be there. We love the atmosphere and the trivia game. So we are in WI to visit family. And the Onalaska BW major fail. This would have been a 1 star review except our server was top notch! To start when the hostess went to seat us we were told they were out of burgers, melts and wraps. What it came down to was they ran out of large tortillas and buns. They could do anything on bread, a hoagie bun or a small tortilla. By the time we decided on patti melts they ran out of bread. Now there was a WalMart and a Woodman's (local warehouse grocer) less than 100 yards from the restaurant. And they could not go buy buns? I ordered the 4 way sampler with bone in wings, chicken tenders, onion rings, cheese curds. The chicken tenders were hot crunchy very good. The onion rings were well fast food onion rings. Sysco frozen, greasy deep fried and just warm. The cheese curds were literally micro pebbles. And this is in WI. Greasy and cold. The worse were the bone in wings. Slimy, over sauced and ice cold. We waited over 20 mins for our meal. I could see my plate sat waiting. The beer cheese sauce had a skin formed on the top. It sat that long. But our server Julie H was awesome! She apologized over and over for the no buns/bread, long wait and cold food. She had the kitchen remake the wings w/o a manager's approval and took 15% off my entree. Interesting note the manager walked through the dining room and never once addressed a patron, apologized. Etc. I am amazed how an establishment can be so poorly run and no attention from the manager on duty. So big NO for the Onalaska BW. Right now we are done with BW all together. I had the most pleasant experience with Melissa at the Onalaska location! I tried to order from DoorDash but the boneless wings I planned on ordering couldn't be found anywhere on the page. I called to check that they were still "in stock" and Melissa was so helpful! Melissa took great care in personally ensuring I got exactly what I wanted and hand packed my order to make sure the issues with DoorDash didn't impact my meal. I see a lot of negative reviews that feel off... We had Misty as our server and she was great, very attentive and quick. Food took a normal wait time for BWW, and was great. Caesar salad was great, Chicken sandwich was great, and Asian Zing & Mild Wings were great. Beer was cold, wasn't too loud. Table was a little sticky when we arrived but Misty wiped it down. First time at BWW and I am a fan. The large bar and grill format is great. Our server was laid back and chatted with us for a while since it was a slow time. The wings and strips were all very good. I personally liked the Asia Zing sauce even though it is not a traditional Buffalo wing sauce. Definitely a cool place to hang out. read more

I was driving from Madison back home when I was craving some Buffalo wings. Before losing about 120 pounds, I used to eat a lot of those. I had a craving. The problem with the cravings from my old self doesn't always agree with the new me diet. I had a polite, young waiter, Skyler (young man), he was friendly and helpful. My wings, I asked for as wet because I love the sauce. My wings were a tad under done for my liking. The skin was soft and soggy instead of crispy. It may not have helped getting them wet. We stopped into BWW Saturday evening for dinner with eleven of our friends. The service was extremely slow and our food took 40 minutes to arrive. Not all tables were filled, so it wasn't an issue with a backed up kitchen and we didn't order anything that was out of the ordinary (all wings, fries, etc.). Once the food showed up, most of us were delivered lukewarm or cold meals - worse yet, the waitstaff acted like we were doing them a favor by being there. Food quality was average at best. BWW has been in business a long time and their formula is well-established - the operation should work like a clock. It's disappointing to see an organization like this struggle to do the simple things. BWW should be THE place to grab wings and a beer - unfortunately, they've ceded that ground to other competitors who do a much better job. We won't be going back. read more

Very disappointed with our BWW experience tonight. We got a to-go order because we live a few towns over and thought it would be nice to pick up while on our way home from onalaska. When we got home we discovered that not only where our boxes covered in sauce meaning that their plating area had been dirty, but we were missing a box from the large wing meal making it a medium instead of a large. Sadly because of how far we live this wasn't a simple turn around and fix the issue. All the manager could do for us over the phone was take our address and say they'll send us some coupons. While I appreciate the attempt to right their wrong I am still thinking that it should have been easy enough to do our order (1 medium boneless wing, a side of mac and cheese and 1 large traditional wings) correctly in the first place. read more

First time here-my kid wanted to come here for my bday. We saw the restaurant was packed and so we decided to take out due to Covid. We ordered and went to pick up an hour later and there was no way to get in the door. We finally got in and one person told us the line was alllll the way back by the bar. 20+ ahead of us to pick up. It was a shit show. It took an hour to pick up. The employees seem to be very confused as to where the orders were. They said and read every single one every time someone came to the counter. There were so many orders to be picked up, they were sitting out on counters and not in the heated area. It was just a shit show. There were so many people standing there waiting on things that you couldn't even get to the counter to pick up your orders that were ready an hour ago. Totally mismanaged, set up needs to be redone. The managers seem to be very confused, and servers were standing and staring at customers standing in line waiting for some workers being confused and arguing . Not at all efficient or customer oriented service. No thank you, just "throw and go." $60 McDonald's style service and screwed up orders. And we did not get any of the sauces that we requested. Unfortunately, I can not give this place a rating less than ZERO. I had the misfortune of recently stopping at this place to watch the Packers game, as well as to get something to eat. I ordered something as simple as a burger and fries, and the burger came out so greasy I had a hard time eating it. However, the worst part, is the fact that they kept the place absolutely freezing inside. Outside it was only 70 degrees, but inside they still continued to blast the air conditioning away. I actually had to go out to my car and get a jacket so that I could continue to watch the game. Even with a jacket on, I was still cold. I actually had to be around 60 degrees inside. I was extremely uncomfortable. If it was not for the game, I would have left much earlier. I told more than one person there about it but got nothing but excuses.
