First time here-my kid wanted to come here for my bday. We saw the restaurant was packed and so we decided to take out due to Covid. We ordered and went to pick up an hour later and there was no way to get in the door. We finally got in and one person told us the line was alllll the way back by the bar. 20+ ahead of us to pick up. It was a shit show. It took an hour to pick up. The employees seem to be very confused as to where the orders were. They said and read every single one every time someone came to the counter. There were so many orders to be picked up, they were sitting out on counters and not in the heated area. It was just a shit show. There were so many people standing there waiting on things that you couldn't even get to the counter to pick up your orders that were ready an hour ago. Totally mismanaged, set up needs to be redone. The managers seem to be very confused, and servers were standing and staring at customers standing in line waiting for some workers being confused and arguing . Not at all efficient or customer oriented service. No thank you, just "throw and go." $60 McDonald's style service and screwed up orders. And we did not get any of the sauces that we requested. Just basic wings. I hope I never have to come here again. read more

Stopped here on a road trip despite bad reviews. We're seated right away but no one came over to ask about drinks or order. Tables around us were being serviced. After 15 minutes we finally asked a server who went to check with the waitress but we had been ignored long enough and left. Awful. read more

I was very impressed with the service. I called a week in advance to let them know I would be bringing a group of 40 people. When we arrived the tables were all ready for us with no time to wait, and with fast service. Our meals came in a timely manner especially for a huge group. I ordered the cheese curd bacon burger and it was so delicious. The onions were fresh and crunchy and so was the bacon. Super great! read more

we were seated at a table 10 of use with no server, person called in out. Then our food came out in 4 different batches and appetizers came in 3rd batch. It was horrible service. Food was ok. Told the manger and she claimed she was not informed of our use from the beginning won't be going back any time soon!! read more

Ordered via DoorDash. Order took 40 min to make 2 burgers and some fries. The fries were WAY overdone and one of our burgers still had raw meat in it. Very unsatisfied. read more

Unfortunately, I can not give this place a rating less than ZERO. I had the misfortune of recently stopping at this place to watch the Packers game, as well as to get something to eat. I ordered something as simple as a burger and fries, and the burger came out so greasy I had a hard time eating it. However, the worst part, is the fact that they kept the place absolutely freezing inside. Outside it was only 70 degrees, but inside they still continued to blast the air conditioning away. I actually had to go out to my car and get a jacket so that I could continue to watch the game. Even with a jacket on, I was still cold. I actually had to be around 60 degrees inside. I was extremely uncomfortable. If it was not for the game, I would have left much earlier. I told more than one person there about it but got nothing but excuses. I will NEVER go to this place again, nor would I ever recommend it to anyone. It was terrible..... read more

The service here is pathetic. They "lost" my to-go order and made me wait a total of 45 minutes, for 20 damn wings. They walked around blaming each other, instead of actually acting like they gave a crap about my wait. Pathetic. read more

Ever sense this company was taken over by Arby's they have gone to crap! Portions have gotten smaller, prices have gone up! Service has gotten slower! I ordered mini corn dogs and I got 5 which cost me $6.30! My fries came out after all the other food and they were all clumped up. The waitress claimed they were like this because they were fresh but all of the food was just barley warm! Not even close to hot! This is not the first crappy service we've had hear! Last time we waited over an hour and still didn't get all of our groups food! My boyfriend used to love this company! He loved there wings more then anything! Now he never wants to go back! Such a shame! read more

To expensive and to loud. Couldn't talk to my Girlfriend. I've had better wings at less cost.

Sports + Beer + Wings = Man's Best Friend However, I am not a man and I can only say below average things about this place. I've eaten here a handful of times and the consistency of the food is never the same. Mostly, the fries are terrible. The veggie bean burger is sometimes good, sometimes burned black and dry as a rock. Sometimes the food is hot, sometimes its cold. The waitstaff is usually friendly, but I'm there for the goods! The best items to order are the wings and the burgers. Take out is always a regret because it's either cold or bland or just meh. I wish I had better things to say, because the atmosphere is "cool and hip" but unfortunately I will probably not return again unless really desperate. read more

Asked for nachos for carry out. I specifically said that I didn't want any meat on them, and the lady said that meat for the nachos is extra anyways. When I opened the box, I saw that they put ground up hamburger on it. IM VEGETARIAN!!! One of the worst mistakes a restaurant can make; coming from a waitress. I will never be coming here again, and will share my disappointment. If you are vegetarian, don't ever try to come here. The waitresses and management have no idea what they are doing. Get a new phone bud. I am now going to Wendy's, after already wasting my money on food that i can not eat read more

my husband and i usu love BWW. We moved to Onalaska and came to BWW here but their service sucks big time. I specifically ordered extra sauce on my wings and the boy confirmed with me at the counter again and it was also noted on my ticket but when i opened it was dry and no sauce. total dissapointment with the service here. read more

Buffalo Wild Wings - super dry wings and has some weird white color on it. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Onalaska, Wisconsin

What can you say, its chicken wings. You cant really mess that up, can you? Everything was good except the wait.

This meal was such a disappointment ! We paid $70 and it was TERRIBLE ! The onion rings only had about 6 onion rings in the container. We had 1 tiny sauce for a total of 30 wings. (15 were bone in and 15 were boneless). The boneless wings were so dry that my jaw hurt by the time I got done chewing the first one. Ugh ! I can't believe this cost $70 ! I feel so ripped off ! read more

I gotta say. The place was packed. But our service was amazing. Erika was spot on and so very friendly. She had a lot of customers but always checked on us to see if we needed something. The food came out fresh and made right our order. It didn't take as long as I had thought it would. V I would suggest this place for a great selection of wings made fresh. The beers and drinks looked really fresh as well. read more

Was in the area visiting family and friends and since nearby shit-ona doesn't have a decent wing place my younger brother suggested we come here. So we did , and I'm really glad we did, our server was amazing. We ordered the nachos as an app, which was really good!! I had the 15 piece , 10 Caribbean jerk and 5 spicy garlic. The jerk was mediocre, I've had way much and better and in the Midwest too. The spicy garlic was good, I tried a regular buffalo wing and that was good too. I tried their coleslaw and it was really good, some of the best I ever had. All in all, it was a pretty good experience and would come again. read more

Terrible dining experience. Waited over an hour for our food, with wings soaked in a tub of sauce when they food finally showed up. Waitress was unapologetic, and when manager begrudgingly took some money off, he admitted that there had been many complaints during the night, but didn't seem to want to own any of it. read more

Like BWW and stopped here for lunch with the wife. Greeted quickly when I walked in the door, and once seated it took a bit for the waitress to show up. Nearby tables had a pile of dishes waiting for the staff to clean up which sat for a good fifteen minutes while we ordered. Ordered the normal wings and things and they were on par with what you would expect. read more

We waited over an hour for our food. Only reason we chose to eat here was because it was my son's birthday and he got to choose. Food was not good, service was awful. Better wings and better prices elsewhere. Go downtown La Crosse, the Sports Nut or out to Red Pines. read more

Came here on a Saturday night. Somewhat busy for a night with no games or event on. Service was "meh", ordered appetizers and waited 20 minutes for them to come out and then an extra 2 mins for our meals. Our table was pretty much filled with plates of food. Would have preferred if the appetizers came out sooner and the main dishes 10-15mins afterwards. Defeats the purpose of ordering an appetizer when the main dish is only 2 mins right behind it. read more

This was my favorite place for food. I like it spicy and they must have changed their spice mix for the boneless dry rub. Not even slightly spicy any more. Have scratched from my list. Also think chicken is of lesser quality this past year read more

I'm a fan of BWW and usually stop in once or twice a month for their BOGO boneless deals on Tuesdays. Usually not too busy on the times I've been there (~6pm) and food arrives in a fair a mount of time. If your group is ordering a lot of wings, expect it to equally take as long. I usually ask for the desert heat seasoning to be added onto my fries...sometimes they remember to do it...sometimes they don't. On one occasion they had given me the wrong sauce for my wing. It was spicier than what I usually get but it wasn't a huge cause of concern. read more

If you're looking to dine here, you should make sure you have enough time to wait for food. In my experience, the wait time for food usually ranges from 45 minutes to an hour. It's almost comical how bad this branch of BWW really is. The servers seem to be doing the best they can, but we had an extremely bad experience with management. It was a younger man, and he was so rude that I will never forget this experience. His attitude made the lack of quality at this location make more sense. Our order was incorrect (had the wrong sauce), but we had been waiting so long that we decided to just order our correct wings to go. Our order was messed up again (we got bone in wings instead of boneless), and we didn't really mind so we offered to pay the difference as bone in wings cost more. We had already been waiting for over an hour after we placed our order, so we just wanted to leave. He said we couldn't possibly do this, and they would need to redo the order. I asked if they were going to toss the wings, and he confirmed they were. I asked once again to pay the difference so a second order of wings didn't go to waste, and he smirked and said he didn't have a problem throwing away food. After explaining we wanted to leave and asking how long the wait would be if we ordered it to go, he told us he had no way of knowing how long our wait would be. I hope for the sake of the servers and other customers that he is no longer here. I felt so bad for the servers because of the way he interacted with them. I have also consistently gotten sick every single time after eating here. I know multiple people who have had similar experiences related to long waits and food poisoning. I haven't had these experiences at other branches, so I'm assuming it must be something with this particular location. Potentially relates to their 8 health code violations or bad management. read more

The food took very long it was 3 of us and one got theirs 5 minutes before everyone else the ones we got tasted like they have been sitting for 5 minutes do not come here for wings you are better off going to Pizza Hut or just buying some from Walmart read more

We had ordered two burgers for delivery. The projected time for delivery was thirty seven minutes after the order had been acknowledged by the restaurant; not unreasonable. The driver, however, was over 20 minutes late from their projected time. And then he brought us the wrong meal -- instead of burgers, we got celery and carrots (apparently our burgers went to the people expecting the vegetables). When we contacted the manager at the restaurant, they said that they would be bringing another order. There was no offer for any sort of compensation. I am not looking for any, but given that we will not receive our meal until about an hour after promised, and long after it being placed, the failure to do anything more than simply replace the meal is not good business. read more

Sitting here waiting 20 minutes for someone to take my order. I'm just sitting here hangry and thirsty and it's multiple workers in here. When I finally get my food, it's barely sauce on the chicken. If the advertisement says it's dripping with sauce, did it drip out before serving??? One person didn't even get his wings yet. Everyone else is eating away and all he have is his water. .....9 minutes later, his wings comes thru...and he ordered sweet bbq but got Asian Zing instead. As he tries wave her down having the American Flag on his shoulder, she avoids looking at the table and walks to the back. 7 minutes later...brought out the check....the check was wrong. Saying to ask the manager to take off the stuff that he didn't eat because they were wrong.. Yea.....it was eh.. read more

I go to plenty of BWW this one is the worst - definitely pass on this location ... open until 11 but they called last call at 10:02,don't care their clock said 10:25 that's not acceptable. I ordered wings and curds they were almost bare of sauce and Luke warm at best. Cheese curds came out just fine. The staff amass so frantically cleaning I felt like I was hanging out with the janitorial crew, nice way to take any enjoyment out of my relaxation time from 5 hours in the car. I'm sure you have a booming social life you need to get to but couldn't have felt less comfortable to relax and unwind. Super surprised as BWW is my staple for travel in a town I hadn't been before, plenty of other choices around so pick another one. read more

I'll start this review by saying that I do enjoy the food served at this chain, and I have had good experiences with them. This specific restaurant however, was a complete nightmare. I went on a Monday at about 10. They weren't particularly busy, a few tables here and there, and it took about half an hour to get any sort of service, and by this I mean it took that long just to get somebody working there to acknowledge my presence. Once they finally did, I was told to go to the bar to place a to-go order. Then it took another fifteen minutes to get the bartender to acknowledge me. About another half hour later I got my food. Once I had my food I came to the horrific realization that it was absolute garbage. It was all cold, the wings had next to no sauce or flavor on them. The chili con queso was equally as awful of a nightmare, the chips were stale, and the sauce was just terrible. A chunk of beef in the middle, a few beans and cheese, all near frozen solid. I would have gone back and complained I about my food (because it was a to go order), but I had already wasted over an hour of my life waiting on hem. And I know what you're thinking about the whole to go order aspect, I ate my food in the parking lot in my car, because I can't stand the whole loud sports aesthetic, I only go there for the food, well, used to go there... read more

Cringeworthy stop, which is an adjective I very rarely use to explain a restaurant experience. However, drinks took 22 minutes for bar to make- appetizers were gone before drinks even arrived- Place was not busy either. Server didn't know the menu- step 1 to serving.... however, she was quite nice and tried to make up for it. Silverware was gross, I don't even think management would eat off the cutlery. Food was good, overall. Both soap dispensers and paper towel were completely empty in the bathroom, gross. In addition, it was uncomfortably cold and breezy. Hopefully this place can step up their game before we lose another well known chain restaurant. read more

We go to BWW several times a year as my kids like the atmosphere and the food. This was the worst by far. It appears they are on the brink of bankruptcy and are doing everything possible to put customers in bankruptcy instead of BWW. There terminated their happy hour, online advertisements were not honored and we could not use our rewards points. I spoke to management twice. They could not get our rewards account to display and they were very polite but completely unhelpful. Bar food at the cost of fine dining. Stay away for the next six months. They are only showing the sports highlights from 10 years ago!! read more

I decided to eat here with my girlfriend and we ordered fairly basic meals, a burger with cheese, onions and bacon, and wings with fries. It took them 40 minutes to get us our food, they forgot our sauce, put extra stuff on our burger, and never gave me my fries. After we sent the burger back it didnt have that bacon that was ordered on it as well as the burger was undercooked. The wings were drenched in sauce and were undercooked when I requested extra crispy. As well as when we received a refill of our water, there was ranch smeared on the side of the cup. Overall it was a really crappy experience and I will not be returning to this place. read more
