    Crispy Buffalo chicken wraps
    Christopher K.

Service was quick, our server was very attentive and on it, I don't think I ever ran out of water. The wraps were yummy, not too spicy but I like spicy so take that statement with a grain of salt. Overall good wraps and good service, I went around lunch time and it wasn't crowded.

    Happy hour menu!

Great service. Order original wings dry style and have the sauce on the side. Play trivia while you're there. So fun.

The food has always been average for me. I don't dislike anything I've eaten, but it's not anything worth raving about. What is worth raving about is our server, Jess. She was friendly, helpful, and did everything she could to ensure we would come back. 1. Friendly and smiling. It was a busy night with the Thursday night football and she was so pleasant. 2. Made sure we knew the specials, how to order on the online app, and let us know we still had 15 minutes to order from the happy hour menu. 3. Knew I was reluctant about carbs (watching my glucose) and suggested swapping the fries for a salad or carrots & celery. 4. Offered the same swap for my husband's order. Again, paying attention to our conversation and noticed he was interested. 5. I wanted hot coffee or hot tea, which was not on menu. She offered and brought me hot water with lemon. 6. Offered to bring ketchup & mayo to our table when my husband requested thousand island dressing, which they did not have. I knew she was a local girl! Over & above: she had a friend that worked at a close by eatery and offered to have them bring us thousand island dressing. Service was absolutely wonderful. Our burgers were very good, but at this point we didn't even care. We're coming back for that server.

    Nachos with no cheese.

Ordered a large nachos and apparently nachos don't come with any cheese. Bartender pointed at 2 tiny spots that had cheese and asked if I wanted "extra" cheese. I said no, i just want some cheese. Not ordering that again.

Locked doors 10 am after I went to the atm and tried to return. Not funny!!!!!!!!
    Kehau C.

Service was terrible yesterday I went thru about 10 am to the credit union to use the atm, let the 2 females in the front know that. The uncomfortable attitude was thick and when I came back in through the mall side both doors were locked!!!! I was going to have lunch and a drink at the bar after my atm transaction but apparently they locked the mall entry door midmorning! I looked and stared rite at me !!!!! Wtf

All All-American Cheeseburger with a side salad
    Kainani K.

A friend and I had lunch here for the first time and our waitress was super helpful and patient with us while was looked through the menu. Our waitress was more than happy to answer any questions we had and even made recommendations. I've never tried fried pickles before but my friend said it's amazing and I had to try it.. The fried pickles were absolutely delicious! Crunchy on the outside and semi-firm on the inside.. not mushy. The flavor was nice, it had a dill pickle flavor but not too sour. We both had the All-American Cheeseburger and a side salad for our main entree and it was delicious! There were two smash Pattie's on a challah bun with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and grilled onions (the onions were added). We will definitely be back to try other appetizers and desserts.

Hoooo I like the new system at BWW. Just gotta scan the qr code thing and then you just order from your phone. The food comes out supah fast. Perfect when you like mop some chicken wings and pound some beers with the bros after playing golf at bay view.

The food was too delicious to keep a picture of them long enough to have the meat on the bone

The tasting room is small and cozy with a super chill, welcoming vibe. Parking can be a little tricky, but once you're inside, it's worth it. I tried a bunch of beers, and there's definitely something for everyone: - Equal Parts - super light NE IPA, easy to drink and really refreshing. - Nozzle Up - a lager with a lot of flavor, I really liked this one. - Cherry Berry Pie - so good! Not too sour, not too sweet, just right. - Waikane Fruit Snack - a smoothie sour. It looked a little weird at first, with some separation, but once mixed, it was way better. I'm not usually a smoothie sour fan, but this one surprised me; not gritty like others I've had. -Paradise - this one wasn't for me, just had kind of a strange taste. The cool thing is there are tons of options to sample, and plenty of ways to take beer home, too. Overall, really fun spot with a great vibe and creative beers. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in this part of the island.

Exactly perfect for what we were looking for. First and foremost on the list for our search, was…read morewe hoped to find a place that had televised sports (both Monday Night Football and the World Series were on--but remember, this is Hawaii--way-out in the Pacific, so live-games come on in the afternoon or even earlier). Multiple screens make it so there is not a bad seat in the house. We also hoped to find a place with more of a "neighborhood/locals" energy to chill and relax our tired dogs (feet) in...and also, if it wasn't asking too much, hoped that it would have a fun vibe. (*Check those criteria off). "Icing on the cake", for us would be if the location had decent food. (Check that one off and put an exclamation point behind it--as the nachos we had were, "Fire".) As fate would have it, a lucky break was to be had as we walked in to the very-full bar. There, before us, were two stools at the bar (*the last remaining spots in the place) and they happened to be open. Side note: The bar has a speak-easy attached to it, and one day, we are gonna try it. Going there has been mentioned a few times when we have chatted with locals and tourists regarding memorable and unique things to do. Our servers were pleasant and accommodating despite the fact that the place was "choke widd plenty-kine cust-a'mah" (local pidgin for, full of customers). It's a hard balancing act to make patrons feel welcomed, but also not leave other thirsty tables waiting for too long. The two pretty blondes working that afternoon did a fantastic job at this. My seasonal sour beer hit all the right notes, and my wife seemed to enjoy her less exotic tap beer (Blue moon with an orange slice--served ice cold). There is a ton of beers to choose from here. Lighting in the Kailua Tavern is kinda darkish (not a problem, as I like me a dark bar sometimes). The locals were very-welcoming. One guy offered his table to us when he noticed our food had arrived and our plates were a bit pinned in. Also, anyone who happened to be sitting near us immediately engaged in friendly banter about the games. One guy of Tongan decent, who was probably 6'5" and had muscles piled-on to his massive frame came over and leaned in very close to ask, "Hey DEN, Bradah, YOU MIND FOR IF I GO DANCE WICH YOU DATE?" (*That didn't happen, I thought channeling a classic moment from the bar-scene in, Animal House, would be funny...but like the Toronto Blue Jays in the late innings of last night's game, "Swing and a miss". ) The Kailua Town Tavern was the opposite of a swing and a miss for us. It was fun and a good place to "chill"; the vibe was what we had hoped for; and of special note were the steak strips on the nachos, as they were superb.

Could not hear one another speak. While waiting, I watched all the people seated around the bar get ignored when trying to get the waitresses attention. When hubby's beer was done and we were almost completely deaf from the young girls screaming with laughter a foot away, we attempted to find out what happened to our food. This was 30 min after we ordered it. No luck finding anyone who would speak with us. We left the pub area and walked over to the outside walk up area. We were ignored there as well by no less than 4 waitstaff, until a nice girl asked if she could help us. We pointed at the food sitting in open containers in the open air, and asked if we could please have our food. She closed the lids and handed it to us. We got back home and hubby enjoyed his wings. I was unable to eat my raw hamburger, which had been ordered well done. One extra star for his beer.

Always busy and can't seem to understand why the decision to close but this Windward Mall location which has been here for awhile and is a great alternate from the food court scene with lots of local favorites from burgers, ramen and of course breakfast. They also have a kupuna section for ages 60+ is always appropriated for those that just want something simple. On this Sunday afternoon it seems to hit strange as the staff has this overwhelming uncaring feeling which I can relate but is sad to see how they just gave up especially since hearing the kupuna saying "let's just give up" the limited staff are doing what they're trying not to say they're not but it seems like there's very little support. After a good amount of time to be sat I decided to sit at the bar since it was empty even with televised foist all playing I just didn't want to occupy a whole booth and ordered a Diet Coke with the nostalgic red plastic cup I sit and wait a bit more for the food. I ordered the Mamasan's Meatloaf with brown rice and hoped for the best. Food came out nice and hot as the patties were on a bed of fresh spinach and smothered with brown gravy and mushrooms with side of green beans and red peppers while the brown rice got some furikake sprinkles it was nice and didn't take long as the wait for it to come out. The vibe is sad at the moment but hoping everyone gets to find placement as I know for a fact that many biz are desperately searching. Thank you!

Also, on the Weekends you have Live Music while you eat. The menu is catered to the Local Hawaiian-American Breakfast, Brunch, or Lunch taste. It is pretty large as you could order Breakfast from open to Close at 2 PM. From simple Eggs, Rice, & Meat; Omelets, Pancakes & Waffles, to Plate Lunches, Sandwiches, and fresh Fruits and Desserts. On the Menu, some are marked as Popular Dishes, like mines Hapa Loco Moco Bowl: Hamburger patty and Corned Beef Hash Patty in Loco Moco form. Since it is covered in gravy and the egg, you only can tell the meat is cutting into or looking for it while eating. I'm glad Mac Salad or other sides are Ala Carte or sold separately because I was stuffed after eating it. Service was awesome! Staff was nice and friendly. I saw one was willing to talk story to a table who was asking about the Business'History. Only complaint and drop a Star is Beverage Refills. While family got Coffee refills, I vaguely remember Water refills and more important was my Drink (Raspberry Iced Tea) even though it was a Big cup, no one checked if I wanted more.
