    Snow crab combo
    Jazlyn B.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. The service was alright. We waited to order for a while including another table that was seated after us getting their order taken and had to ask a few times for water but it happens sometimes when places are busy. The food was good, I like how you can select the different sauce and spicy level. The price got more expensive for what I feel like was less food but that's just how things are nowadays, nothing against them. Probably will only come for special occasions because the amount of food for the price isn't worth it for my family size in my opinion.

Surprisingly this place was pretty good! We arrived to the mall to get a few things, but coming here was out of curiosity and pure impulse. My family and I were hungry and didn't feel like going to the food court so I teased the idea to my husband, caught a quick glimpse of the basket menus for our kids and was immediately set on going, hoping the boys wouldn't mind. We ordered: 1 pupu platter appetizer 1 soft shell crab basket with fries 2 lemon pepper wing baskets with fries 1 crawfish combo (with shrimp, mussels, clams, sausage, corn, potatoes) Everything was so flavorful and crispy! We weren't expecting the fries to have that much, but they were sooo good! The only downside was that the lemon pepper wings were too salty. The seafood combo was delicious as well, but the shrimp was kinda mushy. Will be coming back again soon!

This was probably one of my better experiences there! Got the 6lb deal that came with everything - lobster, dungeness, snow crab and then we upgraded the shrimp to Kahuku Shrimp (must do!)

Exterior. Located connected to the mall. Parking can be hard to find.

We really love kicking kajun. We've tried a few different things and enjoyed everything. Going for lunch you definitely get more bang for your buck. Our favorites so far- Lunch boil- ton of food! So messy! Soft shell crab-my son's favorite! He says it's cooked perfect every time and we've lived in coastal towns his whole life. Chicken tenders. Don't judge me. They are good! Their spicy aioli is so good for dipping! Cajun fries or tots are always a good choice BUT sometimes they over season the Cajun fries and it's not great. It's like eating sand. Inside is cute. Love the black and white walls. No matter when we go in we never have to wait. My only problem is that even if we are the only table, the service can be incredibly slow. And I'm not talking about the food being cooked, but being checked on, drinks refilled...all the little stuff. That can be frustrating.

I'll probably never come here again.. dry, barely any sauce

Went here tonight, I've been here a few times now and things have taken a turn for the worst here. I ordered a crawfish bag, the crawfish were tiny, the shrimp was over cooked, the sausage is literally 2 skinny pieces of sausage for $58. I didnt even have enough sauce to scoop up there was literally no sauce in the bag, most of the seafood had no sauce on it. I tried to mix the bag and mix around the seafood in the bag but it did nothing. I had to ask for extra sauce on the side which was $7!!!!!! The waitress who NEVER came back to check on us FORGOT my sauce even though she serviced the table next to us about 3x since I asked for the sauce. I just sat there and waited, not eating. I had to flag her down AGAIN. She said there was a mix up.. where??? The other 4 tables that were seated? No there wasn't a mix up... you FORGOT.. I had to wait again for my sauce. By the time I got it, I didnt even want to eat any more. I had to ASK for my check, I had to ASK TWICE for containers because she forgot i had asked for them. She literally NEVER came back to check on us or refill drinks and water after she gave us our food. $65 for over cooked, under seasoned seafood and extra sauce. I'm so disappointed in this place and their food isn't cheap. Not to mention they charge $3 for 1 egg and don't even peel it for you.

My boyfriend wanted to treat me here for dinner on a Thursday night because he got paid. I'm so spoiled by him. This experience was fun because he ordered the 6 pound plate that had lobster, crab, crabs legs, shrimp, clams, muscles, corn, sausage and potatoes. We ordered the medium spice level and this was pretty spicy to me but good. We got bibs and gloves to wear which was fun. We also got mozzarella sticks which were pretty fat and filling. For dessert we got the lava cake. This was good but very rich and had a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This was good. Service was good by our waitress but when the bill came, it was quite a bit but worth it. I would definitely come back again but order the smaller bag. My boyfriend ended up taking the rest home.

Chicken tenders po boy with Cajun garlic fries
    Mychel E.

Wow, I was really surprised at how good the food was. We did take-out and just called ahead. I was a bit early so I waited at a table. The place is clean, does not smell fishy at all. Nice decor and the guy working out front was polite and courteous. Just waiting inside was a good experience. Now, we get home and open our plates. HUGE po boy sandwich and a heaping of Cajun garlic fries. We got a popcorn shrimp and a chicken tenders sandwich. The spicy sauce was killer and the coleslaw was sweet and complimented the sauce. To it with some pickles and tomatoes and you got a great sandwich. We also got a mini combo which was also amazing and came with a side of rice. I didn't snap a pic of it cause it honestly wasn't as presentable for pictures as it was delicious. It's Election Day and this was our highlight!

Tater tots with a side of gator
    Natalie J.

Ordered the gator with tater tots and majority of the plate was tater tots. Looks like we ordered tots with gator as an afterthought. Kinda bummer. Tasty too just not what we were expecting ratio wise.

Crawfish combo with mild da mix sauce
    Ashley J.

Great quality food. We got 2 orders of the crawfish combos with mild da mix sauce. It was delicious. Wish they gave a little more sauce to dip the food in on the bottom of the bag. The service here is always great. The atmosphere is clean and seating is spaced so well betweeen tables. Love coming here for a quick seafood boil fix!

As a Louisiana transplant who misses crawfish season, Kickin' Cajun came thru!!! My wife and I shared a crawfish combo (boil) with Da Mix sauce. Perfect! Crawfish, shrimp, mussels, clams, andouille sausage, corn and potatoes. My father-in-law had the shrimp pi-boy. Everything was great. Highly recommend.

Sampler Platter - Crab Won Ton, Coconut Shrimp, Motz Sticks ($21.00)
    Mona C.

Been wanting to try out Kickin Kajun since they opened at Windward Mall, but on the night we planned to dine in, the hubby was suffering from a major allergy attack, so we decided to just get some pupus to nibble on. An was so sweet, she helped me with the menu and made suggestions based on what I wanted to eat. Since I wanted to save the main seafood things for when we do dine in, I asked about the chowder and sampler platter. An said the chowder is really good, and the sampler was a great way to try a bunch of different items. My son was set on having some garlic Fries (since you can't go wrong with that), so we placed our order. The wait time went quickly, and before we knew it, An brought us our food and we were on our way home. Sampler Platter ($21.00) - 4 pieces each of Crab Won Ton, Coconut Shrimp, and Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, which was perfect for my family of 4 to try one of each, with appropriate dipping sauces included. Because I actually like all the items on this sampler, I can't choose a favorite... they're all yummy! Clam Chowder Cup ($6.00) - Okay, I will be honest... I was expecting a little larger serving size, but the flavor of the chowder and the fact it was loaded with clams made up more than enough! I would order this again! And the oyster crackers that came with it were nostalgic for me. Garlic Fries ($9.00) - Crispy and crunchy, loaded with garlic as expected - vampires beware!! The kids pretty much demolished this plate. Fried Calamari Platter ($16.00) with Sweet Potato Fries (+$1.00) - We love fried Calamari, and these were soo good that I was only able to snag 3 pieces! Guess I'll have to go again to get more haha! The sweet potato fries are a favorite of mine and the hubby's, so we enjoyed them thoroughly Didn't realize it at the time, but our order consisted amost entirely of fried items! And each item was perfectly fried and still piping hot when we got home, luckily we live just a 5 minute drive away. Looking forward to dining in on our next visit and trying a seafood boil!

I recently went to Kickin Kajun with my friend and wow was it good.. If u are a seafood lover or just love getting your hands dirty, man is this the spot for you. I enjoyed some crawfish along with some sausage and rice. Its quite the combination when you combine that signature boil with your rice and sausage. Make sure to lather that baby up in sauce and boy u got urself a great meal. Kickin Kajun is definitely worth kickin ur family out the door to come and eat here!!

It took off so well that in 2000, he founded Hawaiian Chip Company in Kalihi. Today, Hawaiian Chip Company uses only the highest quality Okinawan sweet potatoes and taro grown on the Big Island and Oahu's North Shore and golden sweet potatoes grown on Molokai to make their gourmet chips. This assures only the freshest and highest quality chips that they can produce. They also use canola oil (trans-fat free) and minimal amounts of sodium, and are preservative-free. The Hawaiian Chip Co.'s has expanded its product line over the years and offers the following: * Taro and sweet potato chips mix. Combine earthly richness of taro with the subtle sweetness of Okinawan and golden sweet potatoes of five flavors of hand-peeled, thinly sliced chips that are lightly seasoned: original (lightly salted), zesty garlic, Kiawe BBQ, Kiawe Fire, and sugar coated. * BBQ and hot sauces. The Kilauea Fire BBQ sauce was introduced in 2008, which has a spicy kick and great as a marinade for beef, chicken, pork; can be used as a dipping sauce. The Kilauea Fire Hot Sauce is spicier and less sweet than the Kilauea Fire BBQ Sauce. This led to the Raging Volcano Hot Sauce, which is a vinegar-based hot sauce and the spiciest hot sauce that they make. They also offer a Papaya Seed Salad Dressing. * Collaboration with Eden in Love in offering colorful logo tote bags. * Menehune Mac Hawaiian chocolates. As labor is intensive for the candies to be hand-scooped, there is difficulty in finding quality workers, and it was simply not feasible to continue I was first introduced to the taro and sweet potato chip mix that was sold in Costco, as most people do. You can get this exact item at a lower price in their showroom, plus it may be fresher. For home snacking, I love their Bits of Chips, a mixture of whole chips and broken pieces that are sold at a discounted price. They are not always available, as it depends on when the chips are available and made. It is suggested to call the store to inquire if there are any available. Once we were taking our Pastor friend and his wife from Japan around the island, and they wanted to stop there to purchase a bag of Bits of Chips and hand-carried it back to Japan! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Samples are freely given out as you enter the showroom, and you can take it out back and try the different toppings. Service is efficient and quick. The building houses its small showroom retail store and is their factory where the chips are cut and fried. Hours of operation are Mon to Fri 9a to 5p, Sat 9a to 3p, Sun closed. Lots of free parking in their private lot. Cross the street and visit their sister showroom, 'Ulu Chip Factory, where you can find seasonal breadfruit chips combined with cassava chips, as well as the the Keith's cookies line. Trump's tariff implementation has raised prices twice in 2025 with increased packaging costs due to supplies coming from China. But when you have that craving for these delicious chips and sauces, price may not matter. These chips and sauces will always be there for all to enjoy! Support local!
