I absolutely loved the breakroom bar and food! The selection was delectable, fresh, and diverse, making it a great spot to relax and recharge. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. Overall, a fantastic experience that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality snacks and a welcoming environment! Location: Sand island access Road, left hand side if you're coming into sand island. Right side if your coming out of sand island. Next to Subway, can't miss it? A lot of parking.

Went here because of the good reviews on a Friday night. Took advantage of the happy hour which is from 3 PM to 6 PM. The happy hour menu wasn't very extensive and the items were only a couple dollars cheaper than the regular price, but even a couple of dollars makes a difference in the end. We ordered the Katsu Sando, the steak, battered fries, coleslaw which were on the happy hour menu. We also ordered the smoked pork w/pickled onions and the tofu from the regular menu. Everything was delicious. I was surprised at the giant bowl of french fries that we got. It was a lot more than we anticipated getting. The place was very clean and had lots of very large flatscreen TVs. Lots of room in there if you wanted to have a big group get together. I was surprised at how empty the place was when we got there and it stayed empty. It might have been because it was Halloween and perhaps all the patrons were out with their kids Trick-or-treating. They had tables and chairs, as well as a couple of couches with coffee tables in front of them, which gave a very relaxing vibe to the place. There were dart machines and a pool table if you wanted to play a game, I'm getting together with friends. The staff was very friendly and the service was efficient. We definitely plan to return here as it felt like a friendly atmosphere and a welcoming environment with relaxing furniture that almost made it feel like we were at home.

Came here looking for a place to hangout for Happy Hour on a Happy Aloha Friday. It was perfect... arrived at 5:30pm, lots of free parking, lots of seating & we ended up enjoying for 3.5hrs. 3pm-6pm Daily Happy Hour specials available. Cocktails were standard - somehow, something was always missing from what we wanted (no mint for mojito, no dark rum for mai tai). No beer on tap. Come here mainly for the food. We ordered a variety - HH fries, fried rice, garlic chicken, HH pulehu steak, pork chops, quesadillas, and my favorite of all - Ahi Katsu. We enjoyed family-style and all dishes easily fed 6. Staff was nice and chef even came over to talk story. Glad Breakroom opened up - nice addition to our choices for a casual spot to hangout with a group and grind. Location may be sketchy and hope restroom issues get resolved but it ended up being a good, chill gathering we all needed... appropriately named, the Breakroom. We'll be back.

we love the Breakroom! their menu is really diverse and there's something for everyone. There are plenty tables and space in the back to play darts. Lots of TVs for sports and we can't wait to come here during football season. Service was so good, the staff was so accommodating and friendly. We love it here!

We checked out the Breakroom at the recommendation of a coworker who said their kalbi nachos were bomb, sure enough they were. We also had the garlic chicken & a couple drinks. One of my favorite drinks has just always been a Bloody Mary so I went with that much simpler then the Bloody Mary's I usually order with a bacon, celery, you know the workd but it definitely gave me a nice buzz. We also order Liquid Cocaine & Liquid Marijuana hands down the Liquid Cocaine was the drink winner for us. I'm a local Hawaiian girl born & raised so it's always nice when the servers are also local & that was the case at the Breakroom that night. Service with Aloha indeed.

Food was great, service was a bit slow. The waitresses could've been more welcoming. Looks like they favorite certain people.

Underdogs is actually a lot bigger than it appears from the outside, which is sort of nondescript - so much that you could easily miss it from the street. Lots of dining seating on the inside and plenty of room at the bar. Lots of flat screens on the walls, too, so I'm pretty sure this spot gets crowded during football season. Like many other bars around town, they have open mic karaoke. This spot is country-music friendly, so make sure your Garth Brooks is on point. Lots of local pupus in their menu. Kind of hungry so we ordered the following: - Dynamite chicken - 7/10: I would say it's like chicken karaage with lots of Sriracha mayo drizzled on top along with bonito flakes. Large and shareable pieces for maybe 2-3. Very filling and tasty. - Fried rice with smoked meats - 6/10: large portion shareable between 2-3 people. Good dish and they give you a lot of smoked pork meat. Unfortunately, the pieces were quite tough. Rice was on point and flavorful, however. This is a great spot to chill with nice people in a comfortable, unpretentious environment. Go off the beaten path for once and check this spot out as a great time was had by all.

Cons: They didnt have any beers on draft which I thought was strange for a sports bar, I asked for a menu but they didn't have any drink menu available, so the poor servers had to constantly repeat what beers they had. It was a busy night but the food took a very Long time to arrive some things almost an hour. Servers need a little more training. Granted they were pretty;) BUT We had to ask for water, water refills, plates, utensils, serving spoons, reminded them to check with kitchen if food was coming.
