I ordered the gyro wrap, which in hindsight probably wasn't the best choice for my personal taste. I wasn't a fan of the lamb strips, as the flavor just didn't really agree with me. I also would have preferred tzatziki sauce over the garlic sauce, and I found the tortilla wrap less satisfying than a traditional stuffed pita. That said, the food was fresh and the staff was friendly. I also noticed other folks in the restaurant had ordered platters, and those dishes looked good. While my particular order didn't quite match my palate, I'd still be willing to return and try one of the platters or salads next time.

Staff were friendly and answered my questions. The restaurant is small, but there was enough seating if people wanted to eat in. Took my order to go. When home and settling in to eat out gyros, we found the food was fresh and tasty. The lamb was exceptionally seasoned and cooked to perfection. My husband said the chicken was also very good and he commented that we will definitely eat there again.

Yes, I finally went in with my son. I ordered "The Tab" and it was Phenomenal! Hefty portions of meat and cheese and a perfect ratio of bread and fixins. My son had the Prosciutto Panini and graciously gave me a bite. That WILL be my next order! Fabulous!!! Probably the best potato salad I've had in many years as well. The staff is super helpful and friendly and the speed at which you get your order is pretty fast. The ambience is maybe the best part. Like a quaint Italian eatery with the tables wearing the red and white checkers, with probably the best sports memorabilia I've seen literally covering every square inch of the walls. Good stuff, too! It's funny that my favorite restaurant in Reno is literally across the street (The Four Seasons), and now I have a new favorite Deli. Keep it coming!!! Cheers, JimG

I also like that you can get rice and the wonton chips versus picking only one as your base. It is the counter style where you choose different things that you want on your Poke bowl. There are a few ingredients like avocado that has the upcharge, but in general, it has less than other places. I personally like the crab and seaweed salad on mine, which isn't everywhere. Ingredients have tasted fresh the times I have ordered bowls. Staff is helpful at asking specific things you want and circling back if you may have missed one of the categories. I came here…read morefor a late lunch and ordered the Mediterranean chicken bowl which is quinoa, farro, arugula, diced chicken, tomatoe and cucumber salad, Kalamata olives and served with a tzatziki sauce and toasted pita slices. This was exactly what I was in the mood for! Somewhat light but very filling and packed with goodness. My husband ordered the Reno deli special which had salami and pepperoncinis, pesto and served with a small side salad with blue cheese and cranberries and a white balsamic dressing. I didn't try his sandwich but he said it was delicious and the salad was very lovely. I also got to try the tomato bisque which wasn't super smooth but I w joyed hw texture. Service was great by every staff member we came in contact with. This will be a new regular stop for me, anytime I am in Reno. There is seating inside and some tables outside as well. Location is in midtown with lots of shopping to do nearby.

19 years running and still one of the most beloved restaurants in all of Northern Nevada!…read more Is it the scratch made suits? Perhaps The always smiling and overly friendly staff? Or is it that epic side salad that comes with every sandwich? I like to think that it's a combination of everything above that makes this place a spot that people return to time and time again. For me, it's the friendly faces and the family owned lives that this place is dudes which bring me here from time to time. And the warmer Mo I don't often think about it, but they do have incredibly welcoming patio with lots of shade and great salads and sandwiches if you don't feel like soup. But of course there's always an awesome option of having a cup of soup with your sandwich just to round out the experience. From what I can tell, not a whole lot has changed about this spot and that's with good reason. The people have spoken over and over and over again in this community loves this restaurant just the way it is. When you come here, you can't go wrong with the grilled cheese and classic tomato soup but if you're feeling adventurous, try the soup sampler and taste a few at once to pick your favorite then find out when it's on the menu so you can plan your return based around it. Me I'm a sandwich guy and my most recent visit. I had to try the barbecue chicken on the jalapeño cheddar roll. Chicken with succulent, not overly sauce with light spice and the fresh veggies on top made for a really nice sandwich. The bread was a little bit thick and I ended up eating most of it open face so in the future, I'd say if there's an option for this barbecue chicken to go on top of the salad, you won't miss there. Speaking of salad that cute little side salad that comes with all the sandwiches is so good. Their house made white balsamic vinaigrette is just absolute fire and no meal here is complete without it. 19 years in and Sup is still hot. When's the last time you visited?

Absolutely amazing! Definitely go and visit multiple times because you're going to want everything!…read moreThey have the most incredible hard working and friendly staff, who enthusiastically educated us on their freeze dried soup process. They vacuum seal on site inside two frozen drums that you can see from the bar seats, and the freeze drying process can last for years!! We were told it's like an MRE (meals ready to eat) type of shelf life. They can be found at any of the Grateful Gardens locations, and on their website. The 8oz. bags are the same price as the frozen soup. Sandra gave us the educational information and was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time talking about Grateful Gardens and how much good they do for the community, and how they strive to provide organic and fresh ingredients that are actually good for us. Our lunch was so, so good! The jalapeño aoli on my burger paired perfectly with the meat, and the vegan sesame buns (made in house) that holds up really well with the juices from the burger. The fries could have been a bit more crispy for me, but that's just personal preference. We chose to have our fries cooked in beef tallow, which is found out is very good for you. I loved the flavor! And I didn't think it would actually ever happen....but I'm a huge fan of their house made vegan ranch. Talk about flavor! Just phenomenal and perfect with the beef tallow fries. I cannot wait to go back! I have to try their cookies too, especially the pumpkin chocolate chip and apple Chai! They have a great seating space outside with a cart for your dishes, and plenty of shade. The inside is smaller than the rest of their locations, but cute and intimate. I love the bar seating area which used to be the salad bar, but they took that out a couple years ago. I am so happy that we have Grateful Gardens as part of our community. Much love to all!

Very low key environment. Reminded me of a college co-op cafeteria and after reading some of their materials, that's probably the vibe they were intending. The kiosk seemed helpful, but if you're a first time visitor, probably easier to order with the cashier. The food is obviously high quality. The breakfast tacos I ordered (fluffy eggs, avocado, cheese on corn tortillas) were super fresh and delicious. As good (or better :D) than homemade. A little puzzling paired with tater tots, which tasted and ate somewhat heavy, which by default they are. Would have much preferred some breakfast potatoes. Glad I ordered the ginger molasses cookie, which they warmed up, absolutely delicious. Also really great to see them serving local Davidson's teas. Service was super friendly and helpful. The dinner salad prices, however, are a bit daunting. I'm also curious about their soups, but most come frozen in large quantities, so wasn't sure where to start.

The only cool thing was the stickers on the front window. If I get back to Reno this place would be low on my return list. UPDATE: After receiving a message from the owner I plan to return to Full Belly Deli and try something different. It's tough to make a decision with the extensive menu and as I felt instinctively while there. The Thai Chicken Burritos wasn't the best choice especially when they may lots of breads in house.
