Lots of space, but no 'wow' factor. I've been here for Home & Garden Shows, Car Shows, Hair Shows, Soupfest.... you name it, they have the space.

Great time at Soupfest. Some interesting/weird soups like reuben!

Soupfest was very nice. A lot of different soups to pick from. A change to try out some "weird" soups like Reuben soup. Too bad some soups were really salty. This time the setup was much better than before. More room to move.

Average convention center. I was visiting for the Nickel City Comicon. The bathrooms could use some extra attention but the place was otherwise very clean.

Car show what what !! This was my first car show experience. To be honest I only came to see the Porsche's. And there was only three and not even the cool ones. Lol damn. But all in all it was cool experience. The cars were nice and looking hottt. If they had only an exotic cars , car show I'd be there in a heartbeat. Good times, I had fun.

I come here for a variety of events. World's largest disco, buffalo on tap, and now soup fest. Convenient location in the city and large enough spot for high volume events. Parking is almost always hard to find. I spend about 15 minutes just looking for a spot. I'm glad buffalo has a building and center for these types of things. It helps build up the excitement and showcase everything buffalo has to offer!

Iron Works is an ideal venue in a lot fo way- not too big, not too small, and the perfect place for an intimate experience with a band you enjoy. Most recently we saw Caligula Blushed for their first visit to Buffalo. My other half has been a fan of The Smiths since forever, but we have stopped seeing Morrissey in concert. This was the next best thing to seeing Johnny Marr in concert. Great show, good crowd, not too crowded, and people were actually there to see the show unlike when we saw Nick Lowe at Iron Works and some people would not stop talking!! Post-pandemic, but also anytime, I have to say how incredibly wonderful it is to get fresh air during a show. The garage style door by the stage was open letting in some natural night and lots of fresh air on a cool night, which is really perfect for a show. I'm over crowded, stuffy, hot, and dark. The opening leads to an adorable patio with lots of tables, chairs, and string lights. There's a platform with seating and a little balcony with seating. There are lots places to set your drink whole dancing as the platform and pillars all have ledges. There are two selve-serve water coolers, which is also great to see. I tried a summer cocktail - a Loganberry Dirty Shirley, which was super sweet but that's what it's designed to be. A Coke was $3 and the cocktail specials were $10. Mocktails are $8 and there are other n/a offerings as well, along side beer, liquor, and what have you. They have a garden burger and fries on the menu, in addition to other meat and cheese foods. Tickets to this show were $12, which is so reasonable for a night out. This is more fun than going to the movies and should definitely be a go to if you want to get out of the house. Fresh air, water, seating...all this sets Iron Works apart. If you haven't been, go, and of it's been awhile, go back. My other half was reluctant to go out but was so glad he did.

I am amazed that the space was an old Sears. The space was beautifully designed, well thought out and is now a destination instead of turning into another abandoned building. In addition to the event center attached is the BFLO store, a hair salon, Chruscicki Bakery, Simply Pierogi and Sto Lat. The space itself is perfect for a wedding or your next big event. It is a large open and airy room with darker wood floors, light walls and furniture and gorgeous crystal chandelier and snowflake accent lighting. The interior design is very modern and elegant with touches of Buffalo subtly added in. Great lighting, tons of parking and a huge bar. To the back of the room are doors which take you to a hallway that connects to the other businesses in the complex. The hallway is large enough to accommodate mingling of overflow guests from the event center.
