I am amazed that the space was an old Sears. The space was beautifully designed, well thought out and is now a destination instead of turning into another abandoned building. In addition to the event center attached is the BFLO store, a hair salon, Chruscicki Bakery, Simply Pierogi and Sto Lat. The space itself is perfect for a wedding or your next big event. It is a large open and airy room with darker wood floors, light walls and furniture and gorgeous crystal chandelier and snowflake accent lighting. The interior design is very modern and elegant with touches of Buffalo subtly added in. Great lighting, tons of parking and a huge bar. To the back of the room are doors which take you to a hallway that connects to the other businesses in the complex. The hallway is large enough to accommodate mingling of overflow guests from the event center.

A photo on the Buffalo Bills 50 yard line with a personal photographer framed in commemorative frame. Doesn't appear they are holding large events quite yet due to the COVID-19 restrictions. I will be eager to see how things take off for this lovely venue in the near future. This venue is part of the newly formed "BFLO District" at the Eastern Hills Mall. Who knew that Sears could look so chic?! Quite a make-over, indeed! Four stars for now. Let's see if this total flip is a flip in the right direction. Not a flop - when it comes to customer service, value, communication, collaboration with customers depending on them to make their special day outstanding.

I love that this venue is so spacious, well lit, there's lot of natural lighting, high ceilings, it's well ventilated and it's carpeted. For this particular event "The Whiskey Riot" I also overheard people saying there were more venues last year and they'd like to see more come next year. There's a ton of room to put vendors around the facility and allow for everyone to walk around easily. For this event, there were two food trucks outside and inside, they had a variety of free chips and granola bars for people to choose from, as well as water. There was a large seating area off to the side just to hang out and enjoy your snack or meal from the truck. Coat check is available, they accept tips only. I had a really great time here with my sons, I tried 11 different vendors and even though there were long lines, everyone was in a great mood, enjoying themselves. We brought a Whiskey Riot tee shirt and yes, we'll be back next year!

As we walked in, there was an intimate gathering of family and close friends. The wedding party was gorgeous and consisted of people from all stages of their lives. The grooms appeared. Groom #1's haircut was flawless. Groom #2's uniform was tailored to perfection. They walked down the aisle to Tycho and looked dashing as ever. The ceremony was short, sweet, and personal. It concluded with wise words from Carl Sagan, grooms exchanging vows, and stomping a glass under the chuppah. The ceremony was followed by cocktail hour and a lively reception with delicious food. The alcohol was flowing. Blue lights were in high demand. Inhibitions were lowered and people began to let loose. The dance party commenced. The grooms showcased their stellar dance moves. Although the DJ never entered into it the new millennium, we thoroughly enjoyed rocking to the 80s and 90s all night. We also danced the horah. It may not have been the prettiest horah but it ended with the grooms being hoisted into the air on chairs and family and friends running around chaotically in circles. Out of nowhere, a door opened showcasing a secret room that displayed a magical assortment of decadent Italian wedding cookies crafted by the groom's family. The night commenced with a delivery of Buffalo wings, a necessary, iconic staple. Thank you to the Admiral Room for making this such a memorable occasion where all of our dreams came true. This was truly a perfect venue and reception. As the great Carl Sagan would say, "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." p.s. Groom #1's haircut really was impeccable.

My husband and I just got married at The Admiral Room, and it's tough to know where to begin…read morebecause we have so many great things to say! This venue is so much more than just the gorgeous room and building. Every step of the process had a very personal touch. The Admiral Room staff were accommodating beyond what would be expected of a venue. If we needed or thought of anything at all, they were only a phone call away. Our favorite part of the planning stage was our 100-day meeting/food tasting. That's when we met Josh- who would ensure everything ran perfectly smooth, and Chris- the head chef. They were both the type of people who can meet you, and it just feels like you've known each other for a while already. We went over the menu and schedule of events in detail, but at the same time it felt like we were just hanging out. They were extremely willing to tailor every aspect of the event to exactly what we wanted. It was a welcome change from the normal stress of wedding planning. Thanks to this amazing team, our big day went even better than we could have imagined. We had guests coming up to us and complimenting every little thing, from the outstanding food, to the bar staff, and wait staff. Because of the built-in sound system, everyone could hear all of the ceremony. We had both a band & DJ for the reception, which both sounded great as well. The Admiral Room will always hold a special place in our hearts, and if we could do it all over again, we'd absolutely do it the same way. Because of a mix-up at work, we arrived about an hour late. It was clear that almost everyone was done eating or at least finishing. However, the food at the buffet was still hot and fresh. There weren't any apparently available seats at the set tables (it was hard to tell where people were sitting) so we ended up sitting at an unset table right next to the set tables. I was a little surprised that none of the servers seemed to notice that we had sat down and were eating but were missing many of the things from the regular settings. No one asked if we needed water or coffee, and we were completely skipped over when they served cake. In all fairness though, we did arrive an hour late and, with people mingling, it would be hard to know whether we had just arrived or whether we had simply moved from our table to chat with others. That single complaint aside, the food was good, the space was lovely, and the family members who organized the shower had nothing but good things to say about having had it here. (In fact, they had switched from another venue to this one.) I'm a firm believer in reviews that give you the big picture experience. And that I think that experience here is 5 stars. So if you're out in the OP area, consider checking out La Galleria.
