Well Jeremy has done it again!!! Right from the very beginning I loved that they were a family owned business and that when you walk in you could feel a homey feel which I absolutely loved! Josh and I got married on Saturday 10/10/20 (which was our original date) and had our reception at Marygold Manor and it was nothing short of amazing! From the hospitality from Jeremy, his dad James, Jen one of the waitresses, Jason our bartender and everyone else we cannot express enough how much we appreciated everything! Even given the current situation with a crap pandemic, the unknowns of what you can and cannot do, and the daily questions on if we are even still able to move forward in our plans, Jeremy ALWAYS was so positive and supportive of our decisions. Now for the good part...the food was incredible! Everyone could not stop talking about the meatballs and the salad dressing! The filet was amazing and cooked so well a butter knife cut it perfectly. The chicken was delicious and the smashed potatoes were so good! Overall I cannot recommend Jeremy and his dad enough! They both made sure we had the time of our lives. There were two other weddings there with ours and we never felt like we were pushed to the side for someone else. Every question, comment, and concern was answered and taken care of immediately and without hesitation. We have not received one complaint from any of our guests and we couldn't be happier!!! If you're looking for a place to throw an unforgettable party, Marygold Manor is it. We booked their Bills Mafia package and it was everything we hoped for -- fun, unique, and full of Buffalo pride. Our guests loved the special touches that made the night feel like a true hometown celebration. The food and drinks were top-notch. Every dish was delicious, and the bar kept everyone happy with a great selection. People are still talking about how good everything was, which says a lot. A huge shoutout to Jeremy, the owner! He was in constant contact with us from the very beginning, making sure every single detail was covered. Marygold Manor was beyond perfect. We had our wedding here. When I was preparing to start planning, I really did not want to go through the stress of trying to find a venue, a place to cater, a DJ, photographer, etc. When we booked at Marygold Manor, Jeremy and his team took care of everything. It was the easiest wedding planning I have ever thought possible. They do everything from food, music, photographer, officiant, decorations, ceremony/reception areas, dessert, cake, etc. All i had to do was get the wedding dress. All of my guests had a wonderful and fantastic time. I've had nothing but compliments from them on the food and atmosphere. Not one complaint. Some even said it was the best wedding they've attended! And as a bride, all i had to focus on was showing up and having fun on my big day. I can not recommend this place enough. If you're like me and you just want an easy experience with everything being all inclusive so you can just focus on having fun while still having the wedding you've always wanted.. this is definitely the place to go to. Id give them an 11/10 on everything. Not one complaint, not one recommendation on what to change/improve. Everything was just beyond perfect. My husband and I had our wedding here on August 15. Hired the DJ through the Marygold manor staff. DJ was horrible.. He started an hour late so my guests were sitting for an hour with no music and the bridal party stood in the hallway for an hour waiting. DJ Ace played absolutely NO transitions in between songs. It was a 3 second pause in between each song. I could have done it myself with my iPad. DJ did not introduce champagne toast. I paid 4 dollars per person for champagne toast, he never introduced the toast so therefore almost all the champagne was thrown out. There goes 400 dollars. At 6:30 at the wedding I realized half the tables were not lit! I asked Jim (the owner of marygold manor) to turn them on and he said "I would have to climb under the tables" I said "well I'll do it then" and he said "don't worry I'll get to it." And he never turned them on! Very annoying in pictures. There are 3 different banquet rooms in marygold manor. 25 of my guests went into the wrong room because there was nobody directing them and no sign saying our name or wedding. Marygold manor is full of sweet people with good intentions. But they have very poor execution on what they promise. Very disappointed. read more

WOW! Phenomenal - highly recommend the new Kensington room. My brother and sister in law just had their wedding there 10/7/17, first reception in the new Kensington room. Family style- the food was awesome, Marygold worked with us on the menu because of so many food allergies, everyone raved about the quality and taste of the food. Everyone with allergies couldn't believe they had so many options on the table to choose from. Jeremy dj'ed and kept everyone on the dance floor busy and happy! The bar, well let just say, amazing, 3 beers on tap for the craft beer lovers, and the sangria was delicious. The photo booth was so much fun, very helpful attendents. And let me just say a special thank you to the wait staff, applause to you guys! This was a wedding for the books, let me tell you. I can not thank Marygold manor enough for making this day so special for my little brother and sister in law. For those looking for a venue, the Kensington room is your place. My daughter, Jessica Knoerl, had her wedding reception at Marygold Manor on October 10, 2015!! I was truly brought to tears when I entered the Reception Room and saw how beautiful everything looked!! I was so impressed with the staff and their attention to detail!! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were served quickly and were plentiful, the photo booth worked great and I think the guests licked the chocolate fountain clean!! The entire event went down without a single flaw!! I couldn't have been happier!! We held my daughters wedding at Marygold Manor, She lives out of state and came back to Buffalo for her wedding. I was expecting a rocky road trying to coordinate this but the staff was extremely helpful through out the entire process. They handled everything including the DJ and Photographer making for a worry free event. The staff was very professional, and the food was excellent, plentiful and at a fantastic price as well. The wedding was 3 months ago and I still get complements from guests who attended! I recently attended a wedding reception at Marygold Manor & everything was fantastic! The staff went the extra mile to accommodate my food allergies and the food was delicious. We really loved all the pictures we took in their in-house Photobooth and the MGM DJ created the perfect atmosphere. Loved the chocolate fountain - delicious & fun. I attended a wedding at Marygold Manor on 12/16/2017. The buffet dinner was great, I actually went up for seconds and there was plenty of food. The bartender was very personable.
