We also ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and a grilled chicken salad, the raspberry vinaigrette was very good. Overall, a nice meal. We entered the Wake Forest Buffalo Brothers restaurant around 6:50 PM this evening ready to enjoy a nice meal plus get two to go orders for the kids. My wife with her broken foot and I waited in the entrance for some minutes hoping that someone would come seat us. They did not so we entered the bar area and grabbed a booth. We sat there patiently for about 15 mins while three servers passed and did not stop to take our order or even acknowledge we were sitting there. We eventually stopped the bartender and asked for the manager, who came over and told us what the policy was which sounded as if they did not seat us, we would not get service. The manager repeated the policy several times and never apologized even after I told her my wife needed to sit somewhere more comfortably than the entrance because of her broken foot. So, waiting for it to be convenient for someone to seat us, was out. The manager finished and stepped away from us without apologizing or offering to send someone over to serve us. Seeing her attitude and hearing this ridiculous "you have to be seated by us to be served" policy, even though the restaurant was not busy, we left to take our business elsewhere. read more

Everything went well I loved that we get to seat ourselves which was great but for only the bar area which where we sat. I will say that it did take a while for anyone to greet us at our table, but after our server greeted us it was great service! Overall average sports bar experience. I can't say anything bad about it, but there wasn't much unique or outstanding either. The Carolina Keno seemed to be as big of a hit as the food and beer to the few other people there. They do have a large tap list, but it's pretty average beers (including a lot of locals). Sports bar restaurant located on retail dr in wake forest. Lots of TVs for you sports fans. The service was great for our table of 10. We shared the spinach artichoke dip which is served with bread and chips. Still trying to figure out what cheese was melted in as it tasted different from the usual. I opted for a turkey and cheese melt with fries. The Sammie was good, hard to mess that up but the fries were not good and I gave them away. They were soft and I like mine crispy. Although Buffalo Brothers is not my favorite place to eat, I have to give credit where credit is due. We visited today with approximately 20-25 people and our waiter, Nathan was amazing. He was attentive, patient, helpful and organized. Not a single person in our party was with an empty cup, our food was all correct (even changes made to certain things ordered from the menu), it was quick to come out, Nathan checked on us multiple times to see if anything else was needed, and our checks were precise as well!! We were not his only table and it didn't appear that they were neglected while he tended to our large party. This type of service will keep us visiting again. Low quality food that is largely microwaved and assembled. Food is not good. Service was mediocre at best. Iced tea had little ice to start, was refilled with no ice. Wrong drinks refilled. Waitress disappeared entirely for long periods of time. Ordered a bowl of baked potato soup, was brought a cup. OK, no big deal. The cup of soup had one huge chunk of potato in it - like half a potato. Tried to section it, but it was so starchy i could barely cut it into smaller pieces. My son's mac and cheese was nasty - had a strong chemical taste. He would not eat it -- and he loves mac and cheese and eats the nasty stuff out of the Kraft box all the time. This is our goto spot for takeout; order online and pick it up...easy peasy! The philly egg rolls are everything you could dream of, especially the duck sauce or whatever dipping sauce they come with. The Tommy is my all time favorite sandwich as well! The one thing that got a bit was I wanted a strawberry margarita and in order to get that I had to drink my Corina the waiter said , it was a tule they had. This is my 3rd time coming here with a group of friends from church and we always have a great time. It is big place so they can accommodate large parties ( when we come we are about 20 ). Of course the wings are their main dish and they are very good! They have also burgers, pizzas, sandwiches and desserts. Everyone always leaves satisfied. Restaurant had about 5-6 tables full of people, good sign for me on a pre-hurricane afternoon in Wake Forest. We were seated within a few minutes by a very friendly and kind waiter named Demetrias. The menu was extensive with burgers pasta and wings and wraps etc. Full bar also...great for a early cocktail. We ordered the wings and fried pickles for our appetizer, wow, great wings with superb flavor(we ordered medium sauce) just enough kick!! Fried pickles were great. Can you mess up fried pickles?! Well, they sure didn't. I ordered the Bacon Cheddar burger with a helpful tip from our wonderful waiter Demetrias (hope I spelled your name correct) I ordered the burger medium well and got sweet potato fries. Our food came out timed very well and hot and fresh. This burger was INSANE!!! So good, wow, I was so impressed!! Cooked to perfection and the flavor was exceptional. You gotta try this burger!! Terrible Customer Service! Will not return. We ordered takeout tonight from BUffalo Brothers. We ordered a pizza, wings, and the dinner portion Mac & Cheese. When my husband opened the bag when we got home, the attached photo of the $9 Mac & Cheese entree is clearly a side rather than an entree. We called the restaurant and their solution was to offer us what we paid for. Never mind that we now have to make another trip, no real apology, just so you can get what you already paid for. I understand that mistakes happen, but how you resolve mistakes speaks to the quality of any organization. Most restaurants would have comped the entree or better yet, try to entice you to return with a free entree or appetizer. On top of that, the poppers pizza was actually bland and tasteless. Wings were marginal at best. And the Mac & Cheese was bland and not good - my daughter said Velveeta shells are 1000 times better. With so many options, I would take a hard pass.
