Buff City Soap is amazing! Most of us have tried their bath bombs and laundry soap, but now they've added candles and other great products to their lineup. If you haven't tried Buff City Soap yet, you're missing out! While this location isn't the friendliest, there are several others in the city with staff who are happy to help with all your needs. Definitely worth checking out! read more

The sales people, great. The notion that their soaps and scents are natural, etc is not true. Never in my life have I had a worst allergic histamine reaction to a fragrance in a soap. I checked their ingredients on website, it says "fragrance" no idea of what's in it but when I say I was affected, my whole face bright red burning after using blanket washed with it, my body pins and needles from histamine attack. Had to re-wash everything in my house to get my symptoms to calm down. This may not be the case for everyone, I know a lot of people love it, but I think there should be more ingredient transparency instead of using the marketing words for natural and non toxic. read more

I love Bluff City Soap! Anytime I am near one I must make a stop to check out their inventory and the cool products and scents they have. You can purchase anything from soap (of course), lip balm, shower oil, beard oil, bath bombs, laundry detergent, and more! Everything smells amazing! Some of my favorite scents are Unicorn, Mermaid, & Narcissist but, I try new ones each time. The ones I purchased today, I can't wait to try out. Another thing I love to grab while I'm there are the $5 mystery boxes! They have anything from soap to truffles to bath bombs in them. If you're lucky you may get all three! The other sweet thing about them is they have Happy Hour every Tuesday! Woohoo! Get 4 items for $20 all day long. If you buy over 5 items you get something free. They also have some sort of sale every weekend! You know I am down for that! Love me some Bluff City Soap! I'm already thinking of my next visit. read more

You have now lost me as a customer. Three strikes, you're out. One time you could not do refills because you were "preparing for an event." Another time my daughter and I waited 25 minutes to get served. A few days ago, you couldn't refill because source ingredients were still in bags outside the store. As a result, I had to buy already made, but you charged me full price instead of giving me the refill price (which I would have offered if I worked there). read more

The staff here is incredible. My fiancé and I went in with little knowledge of their products, but we left with tons! They answered every question and discussed all the product details to us. All 4-5 employees in the store were so sweet and kind to us. I have used the 99 Pomlems bath truffle and the smell fills the room and leaves your skin soft and smooth. We also purchased some laundry soap that I'm looking forward to trying! You can purchase a dryer ball as well that will replace dryer sheets and add more scent to your laundry. Just insure to wait 24 hours for oil to dry before using ! read more

I love soaps that contain natural/organic ingredients. RAD and SallyeAnder are my favorites but their prices aren't. I discovered Buff City Soap while scrolling on TikTok and lucked up on their 4 for $20 sale. So far I've placed 2 orders (can't beat the price). Last week I ordered the Island Nectar soap for the second time and now I really regret it. After googling "Is Buff City Soap healthy?" I found out that the soap contains yellow #5 (a carcinogenic dye). Buff City Soap claims to use natural healthy ingredients, but their customer service department ignored my emailed complaint - proving you get what you pay for. My health is extremely important and cancer runs in my family. Evidently Buff City Soap doesn't care. This is what happens when businesses care about their bottom line and not customers' health and safety. #RAD Soap #SallyAnder read more

Buff City Soap is an absolute disgrace! Our daughter was burned from using their soap. My daughter had used their soap for years no issues. We got some at Christmas and she used it and it burned her. Literally burned her skin on the most sensitive area of her body! At first when I contacted them they wanted to help me, made many follow up calls, texts etc. Asked me to send the remaining soap so I sent all but a piece to them to test, once they got it pretty much all communications stopped. Wouldn't answer my questions, pushed me off and would NOT do anything. They are being reported to the BBB for their products and service along with all the proof we have from the company, soap etc. They know there was something wrong with that soap so now they won't take any responsibility for it. Don't purchase from people like thus, it may be your daughter or son next. read more

Bath bomb fell apart in my hand and turned into an oily scummy mess on my skin and garden bath tub! Took me an hour and lots of gel soap to get it off of me and my tub. Almost fell getting out of tub because I was coated in oil. Was looking forward to a nice hot bath, got a gooey mess instead with no hot water because I used it all trying to de-scum my tub :( read more

I wasn't too much into organic soaps until BSC opened next door to the hair salon I go to, and I'm so glad I checked them out. Their soaps, body butters and facial products have made an amazing difference I my skin. Additionally, the various oils in their products are great for things such as anxiety and insomnia. At least they were for me! It's a great feeling to apply a product that contains ingredients which can be easily pronounced!! read more

absolutely my favorite small business in the area (besides my own that is). The owners are so sweet and friendly. My son always asks for bacon soap and today was informed "I will have to order that again so it can be made for you". How adorable is that!! This is a great example on doing something you love, which was a hobby and has now blossomed into a great small business. read more

Buff City Soap in Bartlett is a wonderful little treat! Greeted with a smile and the scents of coconut, autumn, or the go-to "narcissist" soap, BCS is always at-the-ready with bath bombs, soaps, body butters, and shower fizzies. Super friendly service! The staff greet you as you enter and someone comes over immediately to address your needs. I tried one of their bath bombs tonight for the first time and it was the BEST bath bomb I have ever used. The bath water nourished my skin to the point where I felt like I had put lotion on! Also the smell was perfectly balanced, present yet subtle and more natural than I'm used to. Amazing and totally worth it! read more

This place is nice and has nice products. However, they send me texts that states buy 5 soaps for $5 each. When you get there it is only a select few soaps at that price. On top of that there are no prices listed so you dont know what each soap costs until they ring up your items. Suggestion - place all items that are $5 each on one table that states the price. Every person in front of me had the same question that I did - how are you suppose to know what the items cost? bad business read more

I realy like the products at buff city. I have spent a lot of money in the short pump location. When i returned a body scrub that did not have a seal the store rep told me they stop sealing jars. As a customer i wanted a jar that had a seal on it. It was one jar of body scrub. Customer service and customer satisfaction was not important. I will likely explore other options and spend another future money with this company. read more

First I want to say that I love buff city soap and bath oil... but let me tell you the location in Conway Arkansas sucks some serious booooooty! I went in on tuesday, December 19th, I was out of soap and bath oil so they had some of the soap I used, but none of the oil. The guy in the store explained he would be making a batch the next day and so I asked if I could go ahead and buy it (because they had a deal when you spend a certain amount you get a percentage off) and pick it up after he made the batch the next day. Well, I waited... and waited.... and waited, today is Saturday, December 23rd and I still hadn't received a text/call/email so I decided to stop in the store and see if maybe they had sent it to the wrong information... No.. they hadn't. If I wanted to wait until next year for some more bath oil I wouldn't have bought it then! The guy is making customized laundry soap/oils/etc for other people in line at the store but was super rude to me telling me next time to wait to come in until i get a email/text/call. I NEEDED the bath oil on Tuesday when I went in. I wouldn't have bought it then if I'd known he really wasn't going to prepare it the next day. There are other stores around where I live, but guaranteed I WILL NOT shop anymore at the Conway Arkansas store. I will go to another store where the workers are actually good with customers and understanding. If I could give this place a negative number review I would. The workers either need to be replaced with decent "customer service" associates who can keep up with supply and demand or they just need to shut this store down because they NEVER have any stock and they are ALWAYS rude! read more

The atmosphere sets the tone for the experience. Upon entrance, I spot a woman making products. It really gave the feel of being authentic. The smell of the place is amazing. The staff was courteous and helpful to me and my friend. Additionally I overheard them giving a full explanation of services and company history to another customer. When my friend and I had questions, the male clerk (I forgot his name) was well informed and helpful. read more

I love this place I went here last night and I was really impressed everything has a different smell and it's not overpowering when you walk in, it's a little cheaper than Lush but in my opinion better than Lush. The body butter is so smooth and smells amazing and makes your skin illuminated. They make everything in the store and you can see them making it. It's all natural ingredients and they don't use animals to test or in their products. I really love this place and if you're in Memphis or any other their locations definitely stop by.
