As a business owner and always respectful I was dishonored. Golden Beauty has some of the worst customer service I've experienced. I recently purchased aloe vera gel and whipped shea butter, and both products were not up to standard. The aloe vera was already open with no seal, and the whipped shea butter was hard and gummy instead of soft and usable. I returned within the same week and politely asked if I could exchange the items. Instead of trying to help, the store manager immediately asked for a receipt with an attitude. I explained that I had just purchased the items days prior and that the condition of the products clearly showed they were not up to par. He refused to assist and dismissed the situation with a shrug, like it didn't matter. To make things worse, the environment felt unwelcoming during the interaction, which made the experience even more disappointing. As a business owner of a public relations firm, I understand customer service and uphold customer care, product integrity, and how important it is to stand behind what you sell. There was no effort to resolve the issue or provide even a basic level of service. Thing is I still went ahead and repurchased the items I needed. Disappointed in the treatment but didn't let it stop my tasks for the day. The male store manager was an asshole supported by the smaller Asian female who mean mugged us leaving. I applied the crème to my roots and left it on for longer than the amounted time, it didn't help a single bit and didn't change my roots at all. I applied the toner I got and got chemical burn on my scalp and was in excruciating pain. I washed the toner out after 30 minutes like she said to do and not a single change happen other than my scalp being bright red and my hair falling out. I spent 52 dollars and not a single thing changed in my hair. I'm highly disappointed.
