Cute coffee tent at the Cupertino farmers market serving unique Indonesian flavors!…read more I have been eyeing this spot for quite a bit since I haven't had anything in the South Bay similar to Hijau. The closest place that I have had Indonesian coffee is Kopiku in SF (but that is so far!) I ended up ordering a Klepon which is an espresso based latte with coconut milk, Pandan syrup made with palm sugar, coconut flakes! This had such distinctive flavoring that played homage to south East Asian flavors and was so comforting, especially when it was served hot. I love how balanced the pandan and palm sugar was. It wasn't too sweet at all! I am eager to try more flavors here. Service was fast and quick and only took max 10 minutes to get my drink even with a line. I heard they are opening a store front - you definitely have a unique selling point in the South Bay! Rooting for your success!

In my opinion, the klepon latte was a bit better than the matcha latte. The matcha latte was a bit weak. It seemed to be mostly oat milk flavor with very little matcha. Menu description: Klepon latte [vegan]: espresso * coconut milk [no sub] * house-made palm sugar-pandan syrup * coconut flakes garnish I like the latte, but I felt like the pandan and coconut flavors didn't really come through, due to the prominent espresso flavor. Not a huge deal, but I wish the pandan had more of a presence. All of the staff are super friendly, and I do think that the lattes are high-quality, but I would not get the matcha again. I found it a bit strange that they didn't put the cup lid on for you, especially since there was a long line in a small area and it was difficult to get the lid on while feeling rushed. Also, there's a small $0.75 charge for oat milk, which I don't mind too much, but when paying an uncharge I'd appreciate more non-dairy milk options. Overall, good coffee and vibes.

The food is amazing (ive had and loved both rib dishes, and the duck kapitan is incredibly flavorful) and the servers are friendly and made us feel welcome. With the passage of time, my love for INDO has made it all the way down to my kids. They now ask (or more accurately demand) to dine at INDO. Their faves include a double order of the Roti Prata and Chicken Satay plus the Garlic Noodles and Yellow Chicken Curry. For the adults, we usually add an order of the Papaya Salad, the Bali Ribs, the Chilean Sea Bass, a couple drinks and we are officially golden! From the taste & quality of the food to the friendly waitstaff and the relaxed ambience, we just simply cannot live without INDO as one of our all-time fave go-to spots!

I prayed for years that they'd reopen in Cupertino again. The Bay Area needs more Singaporean/Malaysia food!! Some of the must try dishes here are: * Mee goreng: spicy street noodles * Kari Mee: noodles in a spicy coconut curry broth with chunks of chicken and potato * Chicken Satay: Grilled chicken skewers served with a peanut sauce * Roti Canai: crispy flatbread served with a curry sauce * Mee Siam: Stir fried rice noodles * Nasi Goreng: Malaysian fried rice * Ice Kachang: Shaved ice topped with rose syrup, and condensed milk. Under the glorious ice, you'll find red bean, grass jelly, corn, peanuts & agar agar making for an unexpectedly delicious dessert (This was my favorite dessert growing up)

The Roti was crisp, but still had a nice chew to it and was not too oily! Portion size was ok, I think just enough for 2 ppl to share as an appetizer! - Sarang Seafood $27.50: Interesting dish for sure! It was fried taro paste in a bowl form with a seafood stir fry inside! In my opinion, I think it was just ok! A little overpriced for the amount of actual seafood in the dish (there were about 4 pieces of shrimp, small pieces of scallops and squid). I think the dish could've used a bit more flavor and maybe better quality seafood? Overall ok! ~overall~ Service was great, very quick and the staff were very friendly! Lot of seating indoors, so would a good spot for larger groups too! Plenty of parking in the plaza as well! Overall, pretty good, I may come back to try some of their other dishes since their menu seems quite big!

A few other customers were arriving and waiting as well. We ordered two nasi lemak dishes and one seafood kwetiau goreng. The kwetiau came out first, and we assumed the nasi lemak would follow shortly, so we started eating. Even after we finished the kwetiau, we still had to wait a bit longer for the nasi lemak to arrive. That said, the food was delicious and full of flavor. The portions were on the smaller side, which felt pretty typical for an authentic Asian restaurant. The staff were attentive even though we were seated outside, which I appreciated. The restaurant itself has a very casual and family friendly atmosphere, and most of the customers seemed to be dining in groups with family. I especially enjoyed the kwetiau goreng and would definitely come back for that dish again.

The roti prata was definitely one of my favorites and perfect for dipping into the curry. The curry itself was rich, flavorful, and comforting without being overly heavy. The noodles were also satisfying with a nice balance of savory flavors and good texture. For dessert, I tried the pandan panna cotta. The presentation was nice, but personally it wasn't my favorite compared to the savory dishes. The pandan flavor was lighter than I expected, though it was still creamy and refreshing. Service was friendly and the food came out fairly quickly. The vibe is casual and lively, making it a great spot for sharing multiple dishes with friends or family. Overall, a really enjoyable meal with standout savory items I'd come back for the roti prata and curry again.
