He was thoroughly helpful on advising me of the problem and even honest in that with my particular issue, it was something I should solve by sealing cracks rather than having him come in for an expensive but temporary treatment. Started out excited--referred by Warwick Animal Control. Squirrels in attic. (We knew EXACTLY where these animals were getting in--observed them several times going through the roof side vents. Personal inspection of attic showed where they had chewed through flimsy screen that was there.) Initially service manager told me that they "do not" set traps in attic rather they set them outside. That was perplexing. Tech showed up (Michael) laughed when I told him what service manager said. Of course they set traps in attic-- which he did. The traps were there for 3 days, checked daily and even though I personally observed squirrels entering same vents--there were no catches. On the last day I had arranged for new vents with heavy gauge wire to be installed. In fact--this was done simultaneously immediately after Tech made last inspection and removed traps. We were disappointed after spending $325 (and $85 per catch) but felt confident that the attic was sealed and that this issue was resolved. It was not. We awoke today to hear furtive scratching and gnawing FROM INSIDE which meant a squirrel was trapped inside! Upon further inspection it was now discovered that the framing around attic entrance had also been broken by tech during his work. I called customer service asking about a refund...service manager responded arrogantly--requested to speak to owner--said he'd pass it on. 2 days later...Two calls into business today--no response. Finally a response from owner Jim Cardoza that was a total waste of time. This whole experience was a waste of time and money. UPDATE! Giant squirrel that was left in attic came down into my office and wreaked havoc. I attempted to collect it, but it jumped down, hit me in face, CUT ME and escaped back up into attic. I have video and pictures to post. It is still now trapped in attic! Contemplating going to hospital for rabies shots. Ugh!! read more

ineffective service and condescending customer service. We paid for them to exterminate fleas and the very next day we still had fleas. I was told that the guy didn't even see any indication that fleas existed while he was there (yet he said nothing and took our money anyway) and if we still had them and wanted them gone we should vacuum the house 2x/day every day for 10 days and if they still existed we could have them come back out and spray again (for a fee). When I questioned this I was told "I have only been doing this for 30 years"...not a happy customer read more

I had hired Budget for a variety of insect problems over 20 years and been satisfied with the results. However, I only recently contracted with them for a mouse problem at my residence. Rather than eliminate the problem, Budget was focused on "controlling the traffic" of mice which over 3 months returned on 2 occasions. One day before the end of my 3 month contract when I had seen a mouse run across the kitchen floor and found droppings in the kitchen and on 3 pieces of furniture in my living room (latter area which had no evidence of mice previously), Budget sent a technician who refused to place any more bait stations unless I was willing to sign a new "maintenance" contract. He then told me that he felt that Budget had "accomplished their goal" as none of the previous bait stations had any recent activity. How you can see mice and find evidence of infestation and Budget asserts that they have accomplished their goal is beyond me! Will never use this firm again for any reason! read more

This company's pricing is in the general range of other companies in the area, but it's toward the high price end for their services. I asked 10 area companies to give me a quote for termite removal services. Nine of those companies came to my home to give me an estimate. Budget was the only one that said they'd give me a quote over the phone by checking the linear footage of my home on the computer. When they called me back with a quote, it was one of the highest that I received. I started to politely explain that I was looking for the cheapest price because I was selling my home, when he rudely hung up on me. All of the other companies were very polite when speaking about price and all of them took the time to come to my home and give a free inspection, except for Budget. They are very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't recommend them even if they were the cheapest company...which they most certainly are NOT! read more
