    Sign says they are "extremely short staffed". I get it, but couldn't they have the paperwork already printed? It's not rocket science. They have cars, but not enough staff to get them here.

    Budget is nothing more than a criminal organization. Budget gave us a vehicle with a punctured tire. Upon noticing and letting them know the issue, they proceeded to let us know there was nothing that could be done. Attached will be photos of the carbage we received. Extremely terrible service, ended up spending 16+ additional hours at the airport over the past 2 days and have now spent well over $300 on uber fare. I would like an immediate refund, and demand to be compensated for the precious and valuable time as well as the money wasted. Wasted Christmas. Wasted family time with those who have such little time left :( Budget you have single handedly ruined a vacation.

    The clerks are working super hard at the counter. They are doing their level best to help. Average wait time, today, May 21, 2022, has been a minimum of THREE HOURS. All of these people have reservations. All of us are in line. What I've heard is that the issue is not enough people to clean the cars. So my 88 year old Mother and I are taking turns standing in line. After a long day of flights, airports, connections, etc., this is absolutely NOT the way to begin a vacation. I will repeat that the clerks behind the counter are doing an excellent job. This is a company/management issue.

April 7 we returned to the airport to rent from Alamo, not realizing it is part of the same company. This time we had a passport, but were still refused a rental. We were told they would not rent to us based on our interaction the previous day. Staff again refused to explain any policy or provide documentation when asked, and were dismissive throughout. At that point, it no longer appeared to be about requirements, but about how we were being treated. The overall experience felt unnecessarily hostile and personal. Two trips to the airport, time and money wasted, and no rental either day. I contacted corporate 5 to 6 times and was promised follow ups, but never received a single response. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

After picking up the rental vehicle, I started to notice a strong odor consistent with drugs inside the car. I was traveling with young children, which made this especially concerning from a health and safety standpoint. In addition, the vehicle's maintenance warning light came on indicating a potential mechanical issue. We did try to purchase fabric refresher and car deodorizer to settle the smell but it appeared, nothing helped. W brought these concerns to the attention of the on-site management from where we rented the car from and requested a different vehicle. We were told as long as there was availability trading this car in for another would not be an issue. We arrived at the airport where there was more than enough inventory. In spite of other vehicles were visibly available, management refused to assist or provide a replacement because of the holiday season. I was left with no reasonable alternative and felt completely disregarded as a customer, particularly given the safety implications for my children. We are also traveling for the holidays. This experience fell far below acceptable standards for customer service and vehicle safety. I expect rental vehicles to be clean, properly maintained, and safe--especially when families are involved. I am requesting a formal review of this incident, an explanation for why assistance was refused, and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and distress caused. Thank you for

This might be the worst rated rental place I've seen, but figured I would give them a try regardless since it's what was chosen for me. I picked up a car from this Thrifty location inside of the Savannah airport roughly two weeks ago and not once did I ever interact with anyone at Thrifty, because 9AM on a Thursday is not a time they choose to be open so I had to check in at Hertz a few booths over. The process itself wasn't terrible although the employee working forgot to give me car keys so I had to walk to the car pickup, tell them, then they walked inside and got me some keys so I can't complain too much, I was able to drive out of there without much of a headache. Overall, this place was fine and minus being a little annoying, I was able to get a car and drive around the city. Was it perfect? No, but it is what it is.

I called the 1-800 number and they gave me a number to the airport in Savannah. I promise that I tried that number for 3 days straight with no luck but then I noticed that there was a different number on the receipt. I called twice and the young lady who picked up the phone was able to solve this issue within 1 minute.

We arrived around 11:30 pm into Savannah, and there was a huge crowd around the desk with a sign that said they were out of cars due to unforeseen circumstances. So, why was that? Well, a storm was coming in, plus a government shutdown caused long delays at the airport. People were driving and returning cars nearby to get home, which wasn't fair to those who actually reserved a car. Julie, a seasoned customer rep, called us at 3 pm to confirm what time we'd arrive. With the delays, we told her late evening, and she said she would hold our car. But when we finally showed up there was no car in sight, major disappointment. We ended up taking an Uber for $150, got to our hotel ar 145am, and the whole ordeal was exhausting. The next morning, we tried calling Avis at multiple locations to sort things out, but no luck. We actually booked our reservation through Costco Travel, and they basically told us to do what we needed, promising they'd reimburse us since Avis wasn't helping. Thankfully, Julie called and said our car was ready in Savannah, so we had to take the long trek back to Savannah from Hilton Head, NC. The whole thing was incredibly inconvenient. They did offer us an upgrade, and the Uber costs. Fast forward to after our trip, we had to return the car to RDU (Raleigh-Durham). Everything went smoothly until we dropped off the car and saw an $850 charge -- luckily, I took a picture of the signed contract. So, keep all documentation just in case. Julie really tried to help and took on more than she probably should have, juggling a supervisor/manager role. She probably doesn't get the credit she deserves or the pay. Honestly, she's the reason I don't give Avis a 1-star but instead a 3/5. For anyone booking with Avis, I'd recommend using a third-party service so they can handle the stress because if you book directly through Avis, they're not much help at all.

I have recently experienced this twice on the phone for 2 different rental reservations and saw it first hand while picking up my rental. The people are very argumentative, loud and not friendly at all. The way the people talk to you, you would think I was stealing the vehicle and never returning; which wasn't the situation. Instantly from the moment they contact you it's very hostile and aggressive, when that tone just isn't necessary or a way to handle customers. I think this seriously needs to be addressed. The people working the front desk and outside were great, no issues there at all. I even saw a manager go above and beyond for a customer complaint issue. But the people handling the phones need some customer service training asap! This has definitely altered my opinion of this entire branch.

However, I don't want other customers to have the same experience I had. The smiling faces and positive customer service must have been a front for the substandard quality of rental cars I would receive from this branch. After waiting an hour to pickup my first rental, the detailer pulled it around with all the windows down. That should have been a sign. Within a day, the overwhelming cleansing scent had dissipated, and the clear smell of smoke became apparent. My eyes started itching and I got a headache while driving. I didn't think much of it, so I called the branch and scheduled a replacement. When picking up the replacement, I got in and immediately smelled smoke again. I asked the employee at the front desk to come smell the car to make sure I wasn't going crazy. She said she didn't smell anything, so I thought maybe it was a smoke smell on me carried over from the last vehicle. Within a day, the smell became so apparent that I was getting headaches again. I decided to call a different branch to swap for yet another car. Luckily the folks at the Little Neck Rd. branch were great to work with. They confirmed how bad my car smelled and put me in a clean, standard rental, which I am pleased with. Overall, I would suggest using caution if you plan to rent from the Enterprise on US-80. It seems that the branch leadership cares more about their metrics and turning cars over than they care about their customers.
