A great company to deal with from start to finish. The office personnel is friendly, helpful and courteous. The driver who dropped off the dumpster was nice and sociable.Easy return system, just call when you're done and they pick it up the next day. Would definitely recommend them and use them again. Thanks, made my home clean out a breeze. read more

Rented a 30 yard dumpster from them on 11 October 2022. Dumpster was not delivered on the day that it was promised, delivered 2 days later. The invoice was paid before dumpster was delivered. I received an alert from my bank on November 23, 2022, more than a month after the dumpster was picked up, that my debit card had been debited for $77.25, I called them to inquire as to why and was informed that the dumpster was overweight, which could not have been true because of the type of materials that were placed in the dumpster and more over the dumpster was note even half full. I asked why I wasn't notified prior to my debit card being debited and was informed that they sent me an email 21 minutes ago. read more

This company was and IS absolutely the worst company ever! They ruined my child's 1st birthday party. We scheduled for them to pick up the dumpster within their policy and guidelines three days prior to the pick up date. They responded and scheduled for 7/9 between the absurd hours of 6am to 6pm. As i noticed the time approaching to 6pm My mother and i called a total of 6 times and was assured that someone was coming to pick up the dumpster that day! Well to my surprise 6pm came upon us and no one showed up. A huge 10y dumpster in the middle of the yard. NO courtesy call , no i apologize, no nothing. Ofcourse they came the following monday bright and early banging on our door. I asked to speak with a supervisor who said they would have someone call us and still no call. This is the worst business i have ever used and i would not recommend use their services! STAY AWAY THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR SERVICES! read more

I had to delay my home remodel project because Budget Dumpster delivering in Calabash? NC couldn't deliver when they said they would. If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. They can't tell you when the dumpster will arrive. They can't tell you if the driver will call. They make you wait all day waiting on a dumpster only to call at 5pm the day of deliver to say they can't make it. When ask what time it will arrive, just get ' tomorrow sometime hopefully'. I had to put on hold 12 men scheduled to start a demo on my home because of them. Use someone else. Anybody would be better than Budget Dumpster. read more

As with others. if I could give zero stars I would. Rented dumpster, got confirmation, no dumpster was delivered. Whatever savings we may have had evaporated with the loss of a weekend of work. read more

Excellent service, picked up and dropped off when expected easy coordination. Would use them again. Loved seeing that 20 yard dumpster filled and the end of our demo project!!! read more

I needed a dumpster here in the Chicago area and we called Budget Dumpster. They made it as painless as possible, delivering and picking up the 15 yard container. They were the lowest in price with most of the local competitors, plus the folks of the phone were extremely helpful. We would definitely call them again when needed! read more

The staff from the receptionist on the phone to the gentlemen who dropped off and picked up the dumpster were very polite and professional. would recommend them and will do business with them again. read more

I tried to get a quote and I asked about availability. I didn't put an order with them because they asked me to pay ahead. I was told this morning that they put an order without my request! Do not use this company. They are third party and do not actually own the dumpsters or the service that delivers them. The worst experience I've ever had with a business. Read on if you want to know why.. I was to have a dumpster delivered to a house for clean out on Wednesday. I called them Monday afternoon and the rep assured me that the dumpster would arrive Wednesday sometime in the morning. Wednesday comes around and I am expecting this dumpster by 3 pm at the latest. So I have a crew at the house by 3 ready to move stuff and there's no dumpster. I called them 5 times throughout the afternoon to get an ETA and each person I speak with, including managers, has no clue what's going on. They can't even get in touch with their OTHER PARTY who is supposed to be delivering the dumpster. Rather than tell me that I'm not going to receive the dumpster, they string me along by saying that it will be there by 6 pm. Well, guess what? It never came. I had to call a hauling service off Craig's list and they got the job done for less money. If you're hauling stuff, support a local small business - not some third party dumpster broker that will let you down. Plus, I heard their fees are ridiculous and unfair. I'm not one to sabotage a company via yelp, but they deserve it. Do not use this service unless you want to risk having a terrible experience. read more

Used Budget Dumpster for a big house clean out project. Delivery was timely and easy and the price was right. Pick-up was just as easy and there were no surprise charges at the end. Would recommend! read more

Very disreputable company. I am a contractor and have used many dumpster companies. They tried to make significant additional charges on our account. When we challenged this company (they are actually in Ohio) they blamed the local supplier and refused to resolve. Avoid at all costs. Many better local companies are available. read more

1. Delivery was prompt. But it took several phone calls and emails to get the dumpster off my property nearly a month after service termination. Heavy rainfall and snowfall accumulated during that month, adding to weight. 2."Contract" was vaguely worded, no specifics on amount of "fee" for weight over a ton. 3. Finally, over a month later, I got an invoice indicating a $100 withdrawal from my account. This was the first I'd heard of this amount. It should have been specified before service began. 4. This consumer was not given prior notice of automatic withdrawal from bank account. read more

I do not recommend this dumpster services !! I am a contractor . I been using many dumpster services for the past year this is the worse experience that I had. few days before I've been renting a 20 yd dumpster for roofing . by the time they pick up the dumpster there was overage charge of $230. The roof is not even big. Before I have a roofing job is bigger than this house. I order a 15 yd dumpster from troupe. No overage no any other problem. They wants to rip you off. They will charge your credit card without your permission and say that weight exceeded. read more

We had a GREAT experience with Budget. the dropoff was on the day that we were told it would be. we were able to completely fill the dumpster within 8 days. I then called to schedule the pickup. pickup was right on time. no extra mystery charges on my credit card. I am 100% satisfied and will use them again when we start our Spring renovation project. read more

It is very unusual for me to write a review whether I am happy or not with a service. I just want to caution people who attempt to use this company as they have many hidden fees. On the surface it seems like a great deal for a dumpster service but when all is said and done you will end up paying more. They were unwilling to work with me in any capacity to rectify my complaints. Enough said tread carefully! read more

Scam. they will sting you for extra weight no matter how careful you are, no matter how much you stay in contact with them. Expect an extra bill with no warning after your dumpster is collected. And they wait about one month until they sting you with the 2nd charge. No matter what - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You will be charged down the road no matter what weight you have in your bin. read more

Augie Dog Ordered a dumpster for a roof tear off 8 am. Had to send crew home home dumpster didn't show up until 11:30. Also the dumpster truck dropped oil all down the drive way. Called Budget Dumpster about the oil and send pictures, still after two weeks nothing has been done. Have not been able talk to anyone. I've gotten some emails that they are working on it. But no one has called me and nothing has been done to clean up the oil on the drive way. I also called 4 days advance to have the dumpster picked up because the roof was going to be loaded. I called every day because the dumpster was in the way of loading the roof. Nothing but problems with this company would never use again or recommend this company very unprofessional read more

Lots of hidden fees. The estimate was competitive, but ended up twice as much as estimated because: * the dumpster wasn't dropped off on time. * wasn't installed properly on the street. * wasn't picked up on time the first time. * wasn't picked up on time the second time. I incurred two extra fees as a result and wouldn't recommend this service for city dwellers. read more

I just received a bill for $45.00 because there was a mattress in the dumpster. I explained to the employee who answered that there was no mattress, I just did demo work. I also have photos because I was sharing the demo progress with my family. We just bought the house no furniture, empty. The kid who answered put me on hold to speak with his manager. I was on hold for 30+ minutes listening to "Be Happy" which I very much dislike now. After I explained my story to the "manager", he said I am liable for the container until it reaches the dump! If they pull over and have someone loads the dumpster with whatever they like, you are expected to pay. So if you don't follow them to the dump and watch the contents unload, you may be liable for whatever. Now, if I had placed a mattress in the container, I would have no problem paying. The thought that once it leaves, you may be paying for someone else's trash is crazy! This business model is trash, the way this company operates its business, does not even warrant 1 star. They are a really bad middle man outfit! Avoid this company and look for a local container company to work with. NOT GOOD!!!! read more

I attempted to contact customer service this evening regarding a pick up. We were told the pick up location was blocked. There is no parking on the side of my street where my driveway is located. The customer service supervisor Zach Bay did not attempt to resolve the situation. We have no proof or no picture that the driver even attempted to pick up the dumpster at 6:00 pm. We have given you business for two different locations and we have never had any issues until tonight I would like for someone to give me a call to resolve this issue. The customer service that we received is unacceptable. We would like to continue to use your service but not when you have people reading a script and don't offer any type of assistance. I am furious at what I encountered moments ago. read more

Ordered a dumpster for 30 days. Received dumpster, but no "rental Agreement". Dumpster was taken away and then we were invoiced and supplied rental agreement that states weight by Ton limits, Huh this was never mentioned over the phone. We complained about this and they stated they have a recording of them stating Ton limits and extra cost. They had a copy of recording and said would send to us. We said OK send us a copy of the recording. Never was received and then they went ahead and deducted $384 out of our account!! What a bunch of BS. Beware go elsewhere for a Dumpster. read more

Company was very responsive. The only reason why I gave 3 stars was because they couldn't guarantee a smaller window for delivery and pickup times. read more

Do not rent a dumpster from Budget Dumpster. They will not allow you to cancel without incurring a $25 cancellation fee. Despite the contract stating you would incur a cancellation fee if you cancel the order prior to 3 p.m. the day before delivery, they hit me with a $25 cancellation fee 5 hours after ordering and 3 days prior to delivery. I cancelled because I realized most dumpster rentals include 30 yards, 4 tons and 8,000 lbs. Budget is 30 yards, but only includes 3 tons and 6,000 pounds and then hit you with fees for going over on weight - big scam! Spoke to a supervisor by the name of Chris Lemon who was no help. Wish I read the reviews on Yelp before calling them. DO NOT USE! read more

Like what other countless reviews have stated, if there was a zero star option, I would rate it zero stars. I rented a 30-yard dumpster that was supposed to be delivered YESTERDAY July 6 around morning to afternoon. My contractor and I waited and waited till 2 PM but NOTHING. And so, I called in and was told that it would be delivered by 6 PM. When 6 PM rolled around, STILL NOTHING. So, I called in once again. First, my call was put on hold for around 20 minutes and then transferred countless times. Finally, a REP apologized for the delay and assured me that it will "definitely arrive first thing tomorrow morning (which meant today July 7)." And so, I believed him. MY contractor and I waited till 4 PM today and STILL NOTHING. At this point, I've gotten very frustrated. I called in around 4:15 PM and once again was put on hold and transferred my call endlessly. A REP told me that he will call dispatch and give me a call back shortly but NEVER DID. I waited for 30 minutes and called in again. Another REP answered and told me the same exact thing that she will check and call me back shortly. And let me note this, even though I was very frustrated, I held a very understanding and friendly attitude when talking with the Reps. More than 3 hours have passed and STILL NO CALLBACK! I really don't understand this customer service. At this point, I DON'T KNOW WHEN THE DUMPSTER WILL ARRIVE. Beyond calling, I've also emailed the company but to NO RESPONSE and I know that they have opened and viewed the email. I really should have checked the yelp reviews BEFORE renting from this company. I rented dumpsters from numerous companies before and have NEVER. EVER. ran into this kind of situation. STILL, NO SIGN OF THE DUMPSTER ARRIVING OR GIVEN AN INSIGHT ON WHAT THE SITUATION IS! TRULY UPSET AND FRUSTRATED! read more

Great service and in a pinch during a flood event with dumpsters in heavy demand.

Customer service was awesome when I ordered the dumpster Andrew answered all of my questions. We demo'd the kitchen and called for a pickup. Unfortunately it was the day of the blizzard. It got picked up the next day no problem. Today I get a bill for the overage. Seems they are not responsible for acts of god "the snow in the dumpster". I am billed for 167.25. I have been discussing with the manager and am responsible for paying this. So two foot of snow in a dumpster how much weight is that? I should have put a tarp and 2X4's on the dumpster so the snow didn't go in it.. umm did you see the 30-40 mph winds with just of 70? wonder were those 2X4's would have landed? At this time I wouldn't use this company if it is winter and you have a chance that snow might be in the forecast. read more

Horrible! Just absolutely pathetic. The Charlotte branch is just pitiful. I ordered a dumpster for residential use, got billed for it, requested an AM drop off. 7 1/2 hours late and no one to include their dispatch knows where the dumpster is. I called 4 times and each time the customer service rep said they are waiting on dispatch. Talked to the supervisor and he said well we had this problem where the person at the last site refused to allow us to take his dumpster so we had to go find one. WTH???? Stay away from this company. Completely disreputable, shame of a company. After seeing the prices online for my zip code, I called and inquired about rental and was then told that they had "updated" their prices without updating their site, and this was a "new policy." I gave them the benefit of the doubt because the $20 the up charge wasn't that big of a deal. I decided to give them a go but was told that they would have to call me back the next day for availability. The next day, the rep left a voicemail including a date and the appropriate quote. Everything seemed good until I called back later in the day and was on the phone with another representative. I did not mention that I had already called and inquired about rental. This rep gave me a quote with an upcharge of close to $200. I then told him I had just called yesterday, and that I was given a very different quote this morning. The representative proceeded to raise his voice to me on the phone, and make shameful excuses, that I would be "wasting my time" if he transferred me to the rep I had spoken to yesterday. He said a "new policy" was placed into effect today. What a bunch of liars. Absolutely disgusting how this business is ran to make a few extra bucks. I took my business elsewhere and ended up paying more than what was being offered to me here. Ultimately, I couldn't pay for a service from a company that lies and scams, and even though I had to pay more, at least I have confidence in the service being provided to me. read more
