Well, I found Universal Plumbing and Heating online and requested a job. Debbie was very quick to respond and Rob was able to attend the next day and communicated well his ETA. Once here, Rob efficiently completed the job and pointed out some welcome information about the plumbing. I am very happy with the results! And was pleased to pay a FAIR price for the service. Our garburator needed repairing, and after explaining what was wrong, we were advised that we may have to install a new one. We were given quotes beforehand - the hourly rate for repair, and the cost if we needed a new garburator. The technician that helped us was very friendly and honest. We did not need a new garburator, and he helped us fix ours. He also showed us how to check/troubleshoot the garburator ourselves in the future. We would highly recommend Universal Plumbing and Heating, and will definitely use them again!

We had an issue with the heating system of our unit, it took them days to reply, saying that they will send someone to take a look, and then they had to keep rescheduling as "they are fully booked", even though they guaranteed that someone will come without any rescheduling. Andrew, whom I spoke to on the phone, assured me of a follow-up appointment the next day, and I'm hopeful for a positive resolution. However, the overall experience has not lived up to the reliability I expected from a service with "trust" in its name.

Phone city of Vancouver 311 number...because I already had a back flow the came in 12 hours....they had a type of router they clean from the access beside the house all the way to the connector about 45 feet....showed me the results with their camera....clean...said the clay pipe is old 100 years old but i should not have issue for 10 to 15 years...job done in 80 minutes...cost? $ 0.00.....so you make your own deduction about Viktor and Marvel plumbing....either incompetent or......opportunistic/or......

Norman was unprofessional, treated us like we were an inconvenience, and refused to provide us with a copy of the invoice. This wasn't Norman having a "bad day", because he attended our home on 3 different occasions and treated us poorly each time. We did speak to the owner of the business, Myles, who ended up providing us with an invoice and apologized for Norman's behaviour. Unfortunately, Norman left a bad taste in our mouths and we will be taking our business elsewhere for any future services.

I called ten places, some of which only answered with hello and didn't even say their business name, or were rude without any suggestions whom I could call or simply didn't sound competent. Thomas from this company was professional, kind, took the time to help me and even explained where to look and get the help I needed, so even though he wasn't the right business he was kind enough to help point me to the right direction. Just because of that service I'm saving his info to call him again when I have a heating or cooling issue.

He came on a Sunday to check out the problem, suggested a couple of courses of action and gave an estimate of the work. He carefully and patiently explained everything that was going to happen and our neighbour chose to go with the more expensive, but a better option; A water line replacement from the main to the house. His team came the next day, Monday, and did the initial work quickly and professionally. The job was completed Tuesday before noon. Right on budget, with no surprises. Matt and his team did a fantastic job and left me with very little to clean up and good instructions on what to do to help our neighbours.
