ATA Plumbing did the plumbing work on our shower. He came by with a helper that hadn't had a bath…read morein weeks and stank up my house for hours after they left. Thomas has a condescending attitude and his price was higher than quoted. I had to call him back as the shower controls were installed crooked and too far back in the wall. He was agitated that I dare make him fix it but he complied albeit grudgingly. After calling him a third time to drop off the drain screen he promised the first visit and to look at why the shower was leaking (he left the valve open but I fixed it myself), he was extremely rude that I didn't call to let him know I had fixed it myself. He still didn't have the drain screen and said he'd drop it off one day at my doorstep. I doubt he'll even do that. This is the worst plumber I've ever used and certainly the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. Don't bother calling this company, you'll be extremely disappointed.

Called a bunch of plumbers but they were either off for the holidays or booked solid into the New Year. Pioneer was referred by another company as a very reputable company to work with. I called them up and Matthew showed up within the hour, assessed the damage and got to work. He was able to fix the issue in about 45 minutes and my sink was back to working order. Thank you to Pioneer for answering my call and to Matthew for doing a great job. Extremely reasonable price considering we are in the middle of the festive season. Would recommend Pioneer Plumbing 100%!!!

My strata did not care that 3 units were without water, but Jacob handled the situation with complete professionalism and guaranteed the job would get done, all the while assuring me and speaking to my neighbours to explain the process step by step. My bathroom is now better than it's ever been, and the repairs are perfect! I will never use any other company than Pioneer and will alway as for Jacob It's a relief to have a skilled trade company and person I trust and know can get the job done! Thank you again!!

Phablo was professional, courteous, and wonderful to deal with. He estimated the work before beginning, explained the process to us, and completed the work on schedule. I have only two other comments: this service was very good, but commensurately expansive; the schedule called for a technician to arrive in a 2 hour window, and the in this case he arrived after that window - perhaps regular text updates would beat sitting at home for this duration of time? Thank you Phablo! My wife and I really appreciated your pleasant demeanor and professionalism.

His team came the next day, Monday, and did the initial work quickly and professionally. The job was completed Tuesday before noon. Right on budget, with no surprises. I have very happily relied on Darren Mann at Yaletown Plumbing since 2014. He has responded to…read more a wide variety of our plumbing needs at the condo over the years, including blocked toilet/ sinks, garburator issues and replacement of hoses. The quality of his service is exceptional and I have found his charges to be very reasonable. Darren is professionally friendly, responsive, on time (or immediately lets you if there might be a short delay). He is very knowledgeable on a variety of plumbing matters and explains things well. Going Beyond the Usual : Darren has gone out of his way to source replacement faucet for our obsolete faucet/challenging bathroom sink set up. Daren has also provided great preventive advice, e.g. noticing a bathroom toilet turn off tap that was at risk of failing- I sincerely wish I had been quicker to employ that advice. One weekend evening in early January, the toilet plugged, overflowed and shut off tap failed (as Darren suggested it might in the future). Yaletown Plumbing isn't open on the weekend. So I had to call the emergency services of different Vancouver plumbing company ( who will not be named here). The result was to pay almost $1000 (which included the most bizarre set of charges for a plumbing job) . Normally this would have cost a few hundred dollars. If Darren mentions or suggest some plumbing matter needs attention, take it to heart. You won't regret it.

AB Tech was recommended by a friend of ours so I called Bruce and explained the situation. Good news/bad news: it was a Friday and he was in the middle of a big job and couldn't come until Monday. Then an hour later, he called to say he was breaking away from the big job to come look. He noted that the boiler wasn't serviced in a while and the pilot needed replacing.
