I called them up and Matthew showed up within the hour, assessed the damage and got to work. He was able to fix the issue in about 45 minutes and my sink was back to working order. My strata did not care that 3 units were without water, but Jacob handled the situation with complete professionalism and guaranteed the job would get done, all the while assuring me and speaking to my neighbours to explain the process step by step. My bathroom is now better than it's ever been, and the repairs are perfect! It started with a pin hole leak last year which they came the next day and replaced the pipe. They also found another pin hole drip and other areas that were corroding through and recommended I consider replacing all the lines within the next year. I was suspect of the pipes, with the house being 30+ years old but had been putting it off, so it wasn't a surprise. I have just now had them come back and replace almost all copper except a few ends where bathroom tile would need to be broken. They mentioned that the main lines, especially hot water were the worst and that the end of the lines would last longer. Their recommendation was to replace the ends whenever the bathroom is reno'd. I appreciate this trade-off as it saves me a lot of $$$, time and mess to not have to fix the bathrooms right now. I was very happy with the price. As well, I'd like to add that they were here at 8:00 every day and stayed till at least 4pm. And last but not least, they recommended a dry waller who is taking care of the patching. He was agitated that I dare make him fix it but he complied albeit grudgingly. After calling him a third time to drop off the drain screen he promised the first visit and to look at why the shower was leaking (he left the valve open but I fixed it myself), he was extremely rude that I didn't call to let him know I had fixed it myself. He still didn't have the drain screen and said he'd drop it off one day at my doorstep. I doubt he'll even do that. This is the worst plumber I've ever used and certainly the rudest customer service I've ever experienced. Don't bother calling this company, you'll be extremely disappointed.

Got Nifty plumbing and heating to attend to my heat pump system which is not functioning as per…read morenormal. First technician came with minimal tool or preparation, spent time looking around and informed me that the capacitor is faulty, need to come back next day because he hasn't a replacement capacitor. Next day, however another chap turned up, attached a gas pressure metering device to the condenser, but did not refer to the capacitor. He guessed instead ( 90% sure, he said) the fault of the heat pump is due either to the TXV valve or the coil, and it's going to be labour intensive and expensive to rectify. Given the contradictory diagnosis from the 2 technicians and their somewhat uncertain demeanour, I ended up paying $ 365 for the cost of their service call and 2 hours of fruitless "lookaround".

Easily in the 5-6K range. I'm so glad I did not try them as it seemed to me they just saw me as a potential 'victim' for maximizing their earnings. My faith in reasonable and professional plumbing services has been restored.
