They're either liars or incompetent. The plumber refused any form of payment except for check, cash or credit card, and told me their business didn't take debit or other forms of electronic payment. This led to an incorrect form of payment being issued. When I realize the mistake I called to explain an offer to come down to pay in person. they told me they do take electronic payments and then they charged me a $40 NSF fee and threatened to go to collections if it wasn't paid within 60 days.
