They are true professionals and know this business like the back of their hands. 2 1/2 years ago they installed custom blinds, roll shades and shutters in our new 4600 square foot home in Sugar Land and tragically a couple of months after they installed we lost our home to a fire. After we rebuilt (2 years later) we saw their sincerity and how they came together and collaborated and helped us order everything again (on the bright side, it was fun to change the entire design from the 1st order, b-4 the fire). We've now used Katy Budget Blinds to cover all the windows in two of our own homes, as well as recommended them to our son, who also used them to cover all his windows. They were the most affordable company we contacted, (which can make you nervous in itself...why were they so much cheaper?) and they did an excellent job. They were on time, delivered professional service at all stages of the projects, and went out of their way to help us when we needed it, replacing a part on all five of our roller shades well after the warranty was out, simply because they felt it was the right thing to do. New house, needed window coverings throughout. Fast measuring, fast delivery, expert installation. They missed our "secret room" when measuring, so had to do special order for one blind. Also installed a solar shield on a high window. All work was professional and at a price I could hardly believe! Later drapery for a two-story window plus breakfast room. Spent a lot of time working with us on colors and patterns. End product couldn't be better. The super long drape was expensive, but we were expecting it, and the dramatic effect of the tall drapes is worth it. We had Plantation Shutters installed in our house by the builder. The builder left 3 windows that were near the high ceiling without shutters. After living in the house for over a year we decided to have shutters installed on the 3 windows. We called several companies and decided to use Budget Blinds of Katy because they had the best initial customer service and a fair price. The frame around our original shutters was not a standard frame. Doug did some research and was able to match the new install to our existing shutters. The install process was flawless. I replaced 18 year old Hunter Douglas Everwood 'de light' blinds with the exact same product in four rooms of my home. Although they are more expensive than 18 years ago, (what isn't) I am completely satisfied with the 14 new blinds, and most especially the service at Budget Blinds of Katy & Sugar Land. David returned the next day after I called to complain about a few of the blinds in the Family room that were hanging slightly crooked. He was happy to drop the high side down just a smidge so the slats are perfectly level. First they came out to do a site visit and discuss what we wanted, and while they were there they gave me a lot of options and even took measurements to make sure all the quotes were accurate.
