Went here on my last day in the Philippines with my family. They were really busy and majority of the things on the menu, they stated they "ran out" of it such as the lumpia, bread, and halo-halo, which were the main things that I wanted from there. If they had everything, then they definitely would have received a 5-star.
However, the chami, pancit lucban, longanisa, and the mais con yelo were tasty. It definitely tasted like they were homemade. I almost cried tasting the mais con yelo because it brought back so many childhood memories. Also had their puto and cassava cake that were absolutely tasty. The put was nice and warm and the cake wasn't overbearingly sweet.
The atmosphere was chill and everything was so vibrant. They randomly shout out their little cheer and I think it is a nice way to make people feel comfortable and welcomed. It is a nice place for families and friends to sit down and enjoy dinner. My family shared the history of the restaurant and it was interesting to know that the first one opened up in their hometown.
Definitely recommend this place if you want authentic Filipino food without worrying about the price. read more
