Great atmosphere and food. A must if you're ready for a break eating Sisig and Bopis. Fish and chips were great!

The ambiance is dimly lit with the industrial style vibe throughout. There was a DJ playing pop music which was mixed with the music videos that displayed on the flat screen TVs. The music selection had all the trendy vibes from the past and present. However, it is LOUD in there. lol You will be borderline yelling to have a conversation at your table. The service was good enough. You have to waive down the servers to order your drinks. The bar was quick with getting them to your table and they were pretty tasty. The signature cocktails on their drink menu were put together well. None of our cocktail glasses were cleared from our table for the 2 hours we were drinking and catching up. It was funny to us. =) We ordered some tacos which came out quickly and were pretty tasty overall. Nice work kitchen. I would return for the cocktails as the pricing was fair and they came out quickly. Cheers!

Anyway, the waitress was very accomodating when we requested to be transfered inside. This isn't our first time dining at Tipsy Pig but our first time at this specific location. We ordered the Nachos, Pork Belly, and Pares. All were really good as usual. However, the Frozen Iced Tea tasted different than what we're used to. It's not really bad per-se but it's just not how we were expecting the taste to be like.

If you work around the Kapitolyo/ Oranbo/ Ortigas center, you know what I'm talking about. You can start with dinner from their long menu of comfort gourmet food. The truffle fries and Angus basil meatballs are sure to get wiped clean from the table. The burgers are good, too, but when I'm out with big groups, we go straight for the pizzas: salami and arugula, truffle, 3-cheese (Mozzarella, gruyere, Gorgonzola). Things get rowdy at around 9 or 10 p.m., and smoking is allowed inside at that time. There's an outdoor lounge, too, if you prefer to chat because the music can get really loud inside.

They have nightly performers and DJ's that cater to the interests of their patrons. After a long day (or week) of working, this place can be the perfect getaway for the unwinding experience you rightfully deserve. Spicy Gambas, Truffle Tapsilog (garlic rice topped with egg and Angus Beef strips) and Oyster Sisig are exciting must-tries. If you're a fan of truffle oil then you would definitely love their menu. If you're a pizza lover on other hand, go for their 3-cheese or bacon and mushroom pizzas. Don't forget to ask the servers for their buy 1 take 1 promos on beers and cocktails.

1 Star - Unprofessional Manager (Tap Station Riverside, Circuit Makati)…read moreI visited Tap Station Riverside at Circuit Makati on April 4, and while the server was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, the manager was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. We paid using QR payment via bank transfer (BPI app), and the manager loudly shouted in front of other customers that she needed to confirm whether the bank transfer went through. This situation could have been handled privately and professionally, but instead she embarrassed us by making it a public issue. We already showed her the confirmed bank transfer with the complete reference number on my BPI app, yet she still kept questioning us loudly. I understand that payment verification is important, but the way she handled it was rude, unnecessary, and offensive. What made it worse was her attitude--she seemed very matapobre, possibly because we were wearing simple house clothes. She also kept shouting at her staff while customers were present, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The beer was great and the staff service was good, but the manager's behavior ruined the experience. Tap Station Riverside Circuit Makati should educate their manager on proper customer service and how QR/bank transfer payments work. Please review your CCTV footage from April 4, 2026.

The Tambayan Gastrobar, which is owned by the same people, is diagonally across the street (J. Bocobo Street), and is located in a large building, and contains a hostel, a bar and a restaurant. It is NOT at 1607 J. Bocobo Street in Malate. The Tambayan Express is at this address. Everything in the Tambayan Express café is branded as Tambayan Gastobar (napkins, menu, glasses), but the manager assures me it is different. And she is telling the truth, it is different, with the larger place across the street offering a very large menu, live entertainment, and different hours, etc. Why the owners chose to combine these two very different eateries at two different street addresses under a single listing is a mystery only they can resolve. (shrug) Anyway, onwards - I had breakfast here; "Pampanga's Tocino" on the menu, which is: two eggs over easy, tocino, garlic-fried rice and slice of tomato. I had coffee, pineapple juice and a bottle of water as well. The bill was a peso or two under 500 PHP(that's less than $10 USD at current exchange rates). The food was delicious - loved it. The coffee was burned, and pretty awful. It's not unusual to get really bad coffee in the Philippines - it is the norm, really. Instant coffee (Nescafe, Folgers, etc.) is extremely popular here, and the reason it is so popular is because the roasted coffee you get in many places is so atrocious. So, not a showstopper that the coffee was so bad. Not good, obviously, but not wholly unexpected. Free Wi-Fi, and it's fast enough to get caught up on the news. You will need to get the password from the manager. I was the only patron in the place at 6:16 AM, and no one else came in before I finished and left. A nice bit of quiet time.

The highlights, for me, are the great variety of greens, fruits and vegetables (including organic ones!) and the fact that they sell Santïs meats, so I don't have to do two shopping trips. They sell also a good variety of rice (if you're not used to the filipino one, then they have Basmati, Jasmine, Brown Rice and much more) and beans. Thanks to the beans from Landmark, I can keep the Brazilian "rice and beans" tradition at home. And believe me, that means a lot to me :) I also love Landmark's food court. There's a green juice in some stall there that's is just perfect. I also like Bread Talk and Kumori, the Japanese bakery. I mean, there's a lot to explore there before you start pushing your shop cart! TIP: Landmark is cheaper than Rustan's and has much more variety than the SM Supermarket. Choose it for the big once-a-month grocery.
