OH MY GOD IT'S THE SULIT STEAK PLACE. I FINALLY FOUND YOU.
I had dinner here once after a big capoeira class in Greenhills about a year and a half ago, and since then have been desperately trying to remember the name and/or how to find it again. Was it Steak 101? The Steakhouse? And in the winding maze of San Juan roads, what side street was it on? Ugh, I thought I was better with names and directions.
The reason I was trying so hard to remember the name of this hole in the wall resto is, simply, I liked it here. All the food was super affordable - for a group of around 15 people, our bill was 4000 pesos at most. Not bad for good quality grub. Special mention is necessary for their iced tea, which actually tasted like strawberries and not flavored powder, and the burger, which is big enough to fill a post-workout stomach but not so large that you make a mess when you bite into it. (Very important if you're trying to keep your poise while eating in front of your really attractive training buddy.) The wings and fries are perfect for sharing with your barkada.
So happy a review of Everything at Steak showed up in my feed. Now I know the name, and how to return for more cheap and savory food. Thank you, Yelp community, for ending my suffering. read more
