Old reliable is the phrase that comes to my mind when I think about Kulinarya, a casual dining restaurant found at the lower ground level of Power Plant Mall in Rockwell. This eating place is reliable because it consistently serves delicious meals that are reasonably priced. Still, it's not exactly a place that would give me enough reason to drive or walk to Rockwell. In fact, I find their menu confused. They offer several meals that do not exactly come from one culinary source. I guess, one can say that they are a fusion restaurant, but they jut don't want to admit it.
Don't get me wrong. In my list, Kulinarya is more of a go-to place during those days when I'm not craving for anything or I don't have any idea where to eat in the area and yet I don't want to settle for something so-so or horrible.

My wife got Steak Salpicao and Caesar Salad. As always, the food and service met our expectations. But it's not something that I would rave about for weeks.
I enjoyed the meal and commended the chef for the really tender and tasty beef in my wife's salpicao. I also thought that the dressing overpowered the greens in my wife's salad, but unless one is conscious about weight or being healthy, it was not entirely a bad thing in my book. read more
