Quick service.....Bloody Mary was Perfect, very tasty with just enough veggies.....and the food....WOW! Had the "freedom dip" (French dip with melted cheese and grilled onions) and the BJ Burger. Delicious and friendly :). Thanks for welcoming us so warmly :). The grilled ham and cheese and grilled cheese with fries were delicious!!! I also loved my sex on the beach drink and Doug said the coffee was good too. The prices felt much lower than the sunset cafe...while both are nice little places in Manson, Buddy's gets an extra star from me. It was a Husky game night so we decided on this bar to watch the game and get a bite to eat for dinner. It is your typical good bar in any town..... lots of locals, but very friendly to tourists alike. They had plenty of TV's for watching the game. Good service, I came in alone because the Mr. was walking the dog, and I went ahead and came on ahead in and grabbed us a table. In that short amount of time, all three of the wait staff stopped by the table to see if they could get me something - really attentive service. The menu was somewhat pricey for bar food.... lacking your typical cheaper bar food appetizers. However everything in this tourist area is a bit higher priced so it is the norm here. We were not hungry enough for 2 big burgers, so we decided to share one of the build your own grilled sandwiches. It was $11.50 and you could pick your bread, meat, cheese, and load it up with onions, tomato, lettuce etc. It was really good! The stack of bar fries on the side was huge and home-style cut. It was actually a great deal for the price as we both were full when we finished. Overall this was a nice bar and we would stop again if we visit on a game day. read more

We love My Buddy's Saloon! Bring on the Freedom Fries extra crispy for me! Our favorite is hmmmm ever thing on the menu...Sammy Salad rocks! The friendly owners and staff call you by name when you enter the door. The outdoor beer garden is where we love to hang and get our Lake Chelan suntan going! We love to call in a order to go when we are out having fun on Lake Chelan and enjoy on our party barge. The best, best burger in the entire Chelan Valley and beyond. The people are friendly friendly! The last time I was there, I told them that the burgers are the best and that the fries are also amazing...they told me they cut fresh potatoes for their fries! I had no idea...no wonder they are really good! I can't imagine that the staff would "scream" at any one...don't pay attention to this review...It IS a tavern, so I'm sure children are NOT allowed inside...why would someone take their children to a "tavern"? Also the person's cursing in their review makes me wonder about the type of person they are...like it's bad to "yell" that children are not allowed in a tavern, but it's totally ok to take your kids into a tavern and to curse online in a review?? Buddy's is a fun place in town and as a resident of Manson, it's a fun place to people watch in the summer when there are drunk vacationers around. They have shuffleboard which is one of my favorite games to play while drinking. The outdoor seating is also nice in the summer. The beer selection is strong and the food is good. My favorite order is the roast beef sandwhich with onions and pepers with au jus dipping sauce. Oh and the fries are always hot and fresh!!! read more

Not much of a choice in Manson. The burgers used to be awesome now they are just balls of grease. The beer selection is ok. The place smells like piss but I guess thats a dive bar for ya. The shuffleboard is cool, the jukebox has a good selection. The patio is cool when you come on a summer night. Overall its ok, get drunk and you'll have a good time!!! read more

Highly recommend this place! The burgers are flavorful and the portions are huge. The wait staff is great and you never have to wait for service as the wait staff helps each other out. STAY AWAY! WHAT AN OVERALL CRAPPY EXPERIENCE. It seems that unless you are one of the bar regulars or with a bachleorette party ($$$) that you really shouldn't consider yourself welcome here in the slightest. We were in town staying at a friend's place (they live right up the road). We went here after dinner thinking we would play some shuffleboard. Nope. When we asked for the pucks for the table, we were told they didn't have them. "Must've been stolen again" is the response we got. Lo and behold in walk a couple of guys - I noticed them because they walked in (emptyhanded I might add) came half way back to eye the shuffleboard table (stood right next to my boyfriend) and then they went up to the bar. They came back with a bag of shuffleboard pucks. REALLY? I asked the guy if he brought his own pucks. "No, I got them at the bar." That was magical. How did those pucks magically appear after we asked 3 times and were told they could not be found? Seriously? You couldn't have said something like the table is reserved (which we would have been fine with)? You had to lie? Really? No way would I recommend this place to anyone. Anyone I know who is Manson/Chelan bound, I'll be sure ot share our experience with them. read more

We drove past the place at least 5 times when we were deliberately looking for it. Finally we found it and knew it was the place to go when a local patron stated "best burgers in town, heck the best burgers in the state!" I'm not from the area. I was recommended to go to "buddies" for lunch so I drove 40 min out of my way or this "awesome burger"... The staff was incredibly rude. The bar tender ran me off when I walked in the door. I came back to sit outside! And SHE ran me off again!! Very rude. Very smelly place. They don't deserve my time or money. I'd give a negative star, but that's not an option. Don't waste your time! Go across the street to a clean place with a better view and nice service. Rude. Rude. Rude!!!! And smelly as all get up, hole in the wall crust. The owner needs new staff, and if that's the owner, my money won't be going there! read more

The burgers are really great! The only sign is above the door so it can be a little hard to find. Rely on the address not on a map app.

Buddy's is the place to get your kegs while in Chelan/Manson! Buddy's took care of my group for the seven days we camped in town. While Buddy's is the ONLY place to get your kegs, they appreciated our business and made us feel like we were long time patrons. Bacon Burger and BLT were also top notch. Why did I give it 5 stars? Because Buddy cared so much about my group having cold beer, he started putting our kegs on ice a day in advance. Thank you Buddy! read more
