Bleh. A good pass on this one with cold hard overcooked bacon and too much mayo. Salad was fresh and blue cheese dressing was like mayo, oily. Hubbys beer was cold. Bathrooms and restaurant was dirty. Needs attention. Sticky tables, outdoor area had lawn equipment like blowers and cleaners handing around. Yesterday we stopped in for "a beer" and ended up with such a fantastic experience with Juan at the bar. We noticed some unique tequila, and Juan shared with us the stories on why such a great selection. We sampled a few I had never tasted, the we ordered a couple Mezcal Mules that Juan created. Burger Bummer: Were looking for a yummy lunch spot and a place to eat with our pooches in tow. We've been here many times before, with mixed success in meals. We've sat a number of times on the back patio with our dogs. We were told this time however, our dogs are not allowed on the back patio because too many dogs have been peeing on the turf, however, there were many tables that were on concrete and our pooches were on leashes, but whatev. They set us up with a table out front under an umbrella, which actually turned out really nice and quiet. The menu said they serve Pepsi products, but it turns out they have Coke AND Pepsi which we were thrilled about since we're not Pepsi fans . We received our cokes with limes and set about ordering. My husband and I decided to share a cheeseburger and fries as well as a side salad. Our daughter ordered the chicken taco salad.. side salad was amazing tons of fresh, romaine, lettuce, chopped into the right sized pieces carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, sunflower, seeds, so yummy. Our daughter loved her taco salad. It was so big. She couldn't eat it all and it looked so nice upon serving with the chips around it. The descent into a bummer meal came with the burger. The menu stated 1/3 pound Angus beef. The patty was clearly frozen and not handmade, came partially warm and cold in different parts of it. It oozed with water, no flavor and the texture was horrid. The truth is that the food is just line food from Cisco food services, not really food that they make just crummy premade that they prepare. We asked where the clams were from... They checked and said Cisco. And I'm not talking about San Francisco lol I will not be back here for another 10 years. The truth is that most restaurants in Chelan suck, and Marcella's downtown and Laguna Grill in Manson are really two of the only places where you will get good prices and good food with good service. There was a huge street car show the day we visited. The service and servers were slow, rude, and unpleasant. The food was mediocre at best. No flavor and poor presentation. It took us forever to get seated, it took forever to even get a drink. It looked like a 3 ring circus act with all the employees running around. There were only a few customers seated inside and outside (Not a busy day). There was some owner/manager/server "drama" at the bar area where we were seated at, it was uncomfortable listening to everyone's bs. The drinks were just okay, the tap beer tasted flat, the bartender didn't care about that issue. Disappointing. The restrooms were dirty, clean up the walls and the pee on the floor. Service was great! We ordered a steak and the kids had Mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. The owner didn't have any of their shirts in stock but he even offered to ship it to us! If you're a cider lover then we definitely recommend the Manchester Cider! Nice atmosphere and food was delicious. We came in on a Saturday for dinner. It was really busy. The hospice was attentive and sat us at the bar. Bartender welcomed us with a great smile. We came in just for drinks but food smelled amazing as it was coming out of the kitchen. Bartender recommended the lumpia and clams. He was not wrong. The lumpia is made weekly and were some of the best we have ever had. As for the clams, they were great as well. A little spicy for my liking but would definitely order them again. I order an extra baguette to soak up the broth. I was going to take the left over clams hotel and the bartender suggested adding some pasta. Met a large party for weekend lunch. Food was decent. Ordered a Long Island iced tea and it tasted like straight rum and old Diet Pepsi. Politely asked the bartender about the drink. In short she was rude, told me she would have to charge me for it anyway when I asked for another drink. I decided at that point to forego the cocktail and have water. Had a memorable family lunch at the Tin Lilly in Chelan on Father's Day. Immediately the hostess greeted our family with a welcoming smile. I chose the Caesar Salad with chicken which was very fresh and crisp and the chicken was served warm from the grill with a tender bite. The relaxed and inviting setting on the patio was obviously enjoyed by other families too, everyone celebrating Father's Day together. Our server, Star, was really attentive and friendly to us throughout the lunch. Surprised I have never reviewed this one as I've been here several times and the food is always delicious. Stopped by again last week while on a last minute trip and it was great. Forgot to take photos of the food but the margaritas we had were also delicious. Be nice to the staff, everyone is struggling to get enough employees onboard, especially as we enter busy season. Everyone's doing their best and deserves extra tips right now. :) They have a nice big outdoor seating area in the back and a small area in the front. Went here after jet skiing on a Saturday ugh loved it. Wonderful service, food was great, and bartender accidentally made me a mojito so I got a mint mojito and a mint julip. We got drunken clams, chicken tacos for appetizers, and I got the turkey avocado sandwich. Chicken tacos were fine, could probably pass on those next time. Sandwich and fries were great. Highly do not recommend coming here. The food was terrible and the service was ok until they wouldn't own up to their mistake. We ordered a full rack of ribs, but they only brought us half. We asked for the other half and they brought it out but charged us for two half rack which cost more than one full rack. We asked them to fix their mistake but they said no. Not to mention the rips came out cold and flavorless. You can tell that the ribs were frozen and all they did was pour sauce on top. My friends and I came here around 8:30 on a Friday night and sat outside to accommodate my pup. Someone was super quick to bring her a big bowl of water and a dog treat, which was incredibly kind. However, that may have been the highlight of the meal. We waited around 45 minutes for our food. We ordered drinks, which came out in a reasonable amount of time, but the time for food was a little too long considering there wasn't a huge number of other customers in the restaurant at the time. The food itself was very mediocre. I got the black and bleu salad, which was a grilled half romaine head, some loose salad parts, steak, and some blue cheese dressing. The steak was good, but the rest of the salad was a little meh. The blue cheese dressing was far too thick, and it comes on the side, which I prefer... but only if the salad dressing is thin enough to be able to drizzle over the salad and mix easily on the plate. It was the consistency of a dip, so it was not easy to mix it into the greens. Other people in my group ordered the Roadrunner, the Reuben, and what I believe was the plow chaser salad. Similar mediocre reviews from everyone else. The side salad was an extra $3 for the Roadrunner, but without reading that part of the menu, it was not clear when the waitress offered it as a side choice that it would be an extra $3, and in the end, it did not seem worth the money. The fries were a little subpar, even. They were a bit soft and almost seemed hollow because they felt so deflated. The servers were friendly and pampered my dog, but the food was meh at best, which brought this review down to the A-OK 3 average 3 starts, the extra long wait for the food brings it down an additional star. read more

I think we have been visiting Tin Lilly for the last 10 years... I can't believe I have never left a review! They sit at the end of the strip and for those walking from the hotels etc, I think this one might get missed often as it is at the opposite end - but it is worth the walk! Service has always been very good and the food is solidly good. Mixed drinks, beer, wine - whatever you might want! The inside is on the small side - but visit in summer and the whole back is outside service and quite large! I would recommend the bloody marys, the Hot Spank Drink, and their Mac n Cheese! read more

In Chelan for the week, taking care of some business and doing some wine tasting. Didn't feel like going back to the condo and cooking so decided to try this place out. Should have gone back to the condo and cooked. Ordered a burger and fries, figuring that was a safe bet. Wrong! Was mediocre at best. If you're going to heat a bun on a grill for gods sake DON'T put the crust side to the grill. They did, had a nice hard middle it certainly didn't need. Burger wasn't bad ( but was as close to a third of a pound as I am to my 8lb birth weight), the fries were gawd awful. Some kind of shoestring fry that were as overcooked as the bun. My friends and I were in town for a bachelorette party in Chelan and wanted to go to the Tin Lilly for dinner. The minute we walked in everyone just stared at us. The inside of the restaurant wasn't busy and there appeared to be several people dining inside. The hostess who greeted us rolled her eyes at us when they seated us outside. Our waitress from the very beginning was very rude and short with us. We were a party of 10 and planned on getting some drinks and food, knowing it would be a big bill and we would tip generously. The waitress made it very clear that she cannot split checks, which we were fine with. When we were trying to order a birthday cake shot for our friend who is getting married she made the excuse that she doesn't know if the bar tender would make it, and he makes his own shots. We asked then if they had the alcohol to just throw together a birthday shot and the waitress proceeded to say they are slammed right now and doesn't think he will want to make it. Then when we started to order food, some of us were getting the same meal. The waitress then told us the cook gets stressed when they have are parties and will be happy most of us are getting the same thing. I have no idea why you would say something like that to paying customers and keep having excuses for why they can't do this or that they get stressed when people come. They lady starts bringing our food and stated she was trying to get the food out as quickly as she can. She brought our friends steak out and it was not well done like she specified. The waitress then told her that they are just trying to get all our food out as fast as they can and they must not have cooked it like she liked. There was another group who kept waiting for the bill after asking multiple times and they finally just got up to go inside to pay since it took forever. It was very disappointing the lack of customer service at this establishment. The food was really good and I would totally come back if it wasn't for the shitty service and how badly we were treated. All we wanted to do was celebrate our friend and have a good time. When our friend went to speak to a manager about how we were treated the owner came out to speak to us. He offered us a bottle of wine, which none of us could take since we don't have anywhere to put it. The owner then stated well then I guess I lost the battle already and went back inside without apologizing. This was a very uncomfortable experience and I am disappointed. If you would like good customer service and to be treated well, I would not come here. I cannot imagine if they were actually packed full of customers how much more rude they would be OR make excuses to why they cannot do this or that. read more

This place has it all! Finding a great place to hang out and eat is hard. The food is super good and I have never had anything that I didn't enjoy. For appetizers the beer bread is a must. I can't make anything that good! My other go to is the drunken clams which are very flavorful and a nice portion. The best thing not on the menu is the Lumpia. After the lumpia the next best thing is the drinks. Ask for "The Juan cocktail" which is so refreshing. Speaking of Juan .. him and Gordon are the owners and they are super nice. I usually pair the Lumpia with one of the starter salads and a side of rice. I get the homestead starter salad, but the pony Caesar is pretty good. For the main salads the farmers market and black and blue are my absolute favorite. I could go on and on about the food so I will make this short. Street tacos, little messes sliders, the gringo, ticklish rueben, are peso pesto pasta are all excellent. Great delicious portions, really nice smiles from the staff, yummy drinks, and they have football as well as other sports! The only things on my wish list are a few desserts and some special events in the summer on the back patio.
