Only giving one star because zero is not an option. The service at this dealership is hands down the worst I have ever seen. Spent over 6000 dollars to get a race kit done to my engine as well as upgraded lighting, was repeatedly lied to about how long they would take to get completed. After all the screw arounds they used air tools to put my engine back together causing a heavy duty bolt head to snap off. They of course denied any wrong doing or mistakes. Recently an acquaintance took his bike there for a full fluid change, they drained it just fine but neglected to put anything back in!!! Talk about blatant and reckless incompetence. The Stubb's family must either have nothing to do with the running of their dealerships or they just don't care. On the upside I can't recommend Scottsdale Harley Davidson enough, take your money there and you will be very happy. read more

Been in this dealership twice to look for a new or used bike. Both times really treated like the sales people dont care about getting you into a bike. Not a good feeling or experience. I'm a working class guy a father and a grandfather, i enjoy my time on a motorcycle after a tough week. is it all Harley dealerships that are like this??? i have been into a few including the new scottsdale harley. The sales people seem more to understand the process of talking about the bike and getting a feel for what would be a good fit for you.I think Buddy needs to have a sit down with his staff. not a good feeling shopping in their store. they won't get my business and i wont recomend them. read more

Cave Creek HD - a POS Harley dealer. I rent a bike online. I fly to Phoenix for youngest sons college graduation. For almost a month prior, I speak with DWIGHT and ROBERT in the rental department about the bike. I explain I don't have a credit card BUT they tell me "they will make it work". So to help them I find a buddy willing to let me use his CC. I even call again to explain what I've done. Well, I show up to get the bike AND "oh your buddy has to be here" is what I get. I talk to the manager and NOPE, nothing!! Then to top it off DWIGHT tries F me more by keeping my deposit. Really Ass-Clown?!! Surprisingly the manager does give my money back. I actually got my bike from Hacienda in Scottsdale, but I got a great deal on my Jacket during their holiday sale. I just recently got my bike serviced there because I had a bit of an accident. No major damage, but it took about a month just to get new parts and get things back to normal. You pay a premium to have a Harley dealer service your bike, but for resale purposes I like knowing the guys who sell em are the guys who fix em. The only major complaint is that after $600 of work and a month of waiting, they didnt even take the time to clean the bike before I picked it up. Just lazy and bad form in my opinion. PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ OTHER REVIEWS HERE AS WELL~ This is just on specifically the service department and their service manager... First off all let me say this, i gave them a (2) star and not a (1) star because the fact there is (2) really good service guys there, Richard and Matt are solid and do their best to cover the short comings of their "boss" and crappy service work. I had a new complete top end on my electra-glide done and long story short it took them a MONTH to build!! A top end! Should be about 10-12 hours! Got the bike back and fairing bolt fell out, throttle linkage nut and washers fell off (while riding), the forward jug was leaking between it and the engine case, and now it idles out of control (1200 rpms+)!! Then i brought it back for the manditory oil change to keep the warranty... They Charged Me $65 dollars for it?!?! Charged for an oil change on their work?? Then i brought up all the other issues and was told "the idle is normal"?? Really? And have to make another appointment to address the other problems, NOT HAPPENING! Im in the business and understand mistakes but come on man, step up and own it! Fix it! 100% horrible management and sub-par mechanics. Oh and then... ready for this?? I asked, by the way what is your engine work warranty that i had to bring my bike back and pay $65 for?? The manager said "90 days". REALLY 90 FREAKING DAYS???? For motor work at a factory authorized Harley Davidson dealer??? WOW! Never ever again will Buddy Stubbs see my money! Choose wisely people and do not use Buddy Stubbs! Atleast until new management do not even consider them. Bad work and terrible management! I have so much more to say but would like to remain professional and keep it simple. I was totally surprised and not to mentioned extremely pleased to be notified by Richard, the same day I dropped the bike off, that it was done. I recently rented an Ultra Classic for a weekend trip. Not my first HD rental, so I knew the drill. The staff was super helpful and meticulous about showing me the ins and outs of the bike, and were flexible on the return time. Unfort, a shift lever fell off while riding, but was a non-critical item. I alerted them ASAP and was not charged for "damages". Overall, a pleasant experience. Will rent there again! read more

Two weeks ago, I was in the market to buy a new bike. If I found the bike I wanted, i was ready to buy it right then. I found it a Buddy Stubbs....unfortunately I couldn't find a sales person to be bothered enough to sell a bike. One guy said he'd be right back, went into one of those offices with the window, sat down with his buddy and laughed and joked and shared things on their phones, after about 10 minutes I walked out. I bought the bike the next day at a different dealership. Fast forward a week and I need to get a removable back seat and luggage rack. I looked all around and they were the only ones that had all the parts and could install them that day. I feel like I was treated good by the parts guy, he gets me what I am looking for and was very friendly. Then I go back to the service department and get treated like a leper by one of the service writers. He was a complete jerk and had a bad attitude towards me, putting me down and talking down to me. I deal with it and send my bike in to get the latching system, seat and luggage rack put on. 30 minutes later, my bike comes out missing the luggage rack. They claim that was all I paid for, until I show them my receipt and then they take it back in. 5 minutes later they roll it out with everything installed. I am ready to go. I do a once over to make sure all is right, and the luggage rack is all scratched up, on every surface and at all the corners. When I tell them this is not acceptable, I get attitude again with one of them telling me that is the one I bought. I then confront the parts guy...turns out he sold me a used floor display model, trying to claim it was band new. When I complained that it wasn't, he offered a discount so I said OK, and instead he refunded all of my money and prepared to take the parts back. When I said that I said I would take it at the discounted price, he gave attitude but finally rang it up. Bottom line is that their customer service sucks, they are un-reliable and were less than honest with me. I will never go back and will recommend that no one else does either read more

Had been having brake pulsation on my 2019 Road Glide Ultra. Took it to buddy stubbs, dropped it off and 3 days later hadn't heard anything. I was in the area so decided to stop in and see what the status is on my bike. Service writer says "I've been meaning to call you, we can't find anything wrong. He says I have another tech coming in in about an hour and I will have him ride it, I'll text you when he's done". No text. So I call this morning and he says he feels something when he brakes but what is my tire pressure? (I think shouldn't that be one of the first thing you check if a customer has a front end complaint) I pick up the bike and immediately feel the pulse when I apply the front brake. I get on the freeway and apply light brake to the front at highway speed and the handlebars and mirrors start shaking. So either their technicians are not capable, or they just don't care. When you buy a 30k dollar bike the front brake shouldn't shake the mirrors with only 9k miles. I will never go back to buddy stubbs and I will tell everyone I know what POS Harley dealer they are. UPDATE: Took my bike to another dealer in the valley and they resolved my problem. Got me taken care of with no hassle, great customer service. read more

Almost every employee I have dealt with over the last few years has been great. That being said, I have had poor dealings with the upper management. I was told on one occasion, "If you're not happy with us then there's plenty of other dealerships around" and I was just recently told to "stop talking with the retail staff, they have other things to do". I always felt that the dealership was kind of a home away from home, but not anymore. I won't be shopping there, getting service there, or belonging to their HOG chapter anymore. Good riddance! We took our 2011 Harley CVO to Buddy Stubbs to have the rear tire fixed due to a slow leak. Parts and service opened at 8:am and we arrived at 7:40 am. The service rep wrote down the vin number to search for a tire, as it could not be repaired. The tire size for the Harley CVO is a 250 R50 18" tire. He told us he had 6 tires in stock and it would be about an hour and we would be on our way. After the rear tire was taken off of the bike they realized they did not have the tire in stock as our CVO is a limited addition and the rear tire is made specifically for our bike. He did not realize the bike had a 110 Screaming Eagle motor and he had entered the wrong information when searching for the tire. They informed us they would have to go to the Anthem store to pick up a tire and it would take about 30 minutes. They also told the rep they sent to pick up the tire to take a passenger with him and drop him off as it was on the way. It is now 10:am and guy had not returned with the tire. My husband spoke to Matt Brown and mentioned that he was told it would only take 30 minutes and it had now been over an hour. Matt was rude and told my husband that when he sees the van pull up that's when his tire will be here. This guy really needs to take a refresher course in customer service. He certainly had a bad attitude and was very rude in the way he responded to my husband. The van returned with the tire about 10:50 and what should have taken 30 minutes as we were told turned into a 3 1/2 hour ordeal. The rep that picked up the tire told another employee about the passenger they told him to drop off and that it was 30 minutes out of the way, which of course added to our wait time. We should have been compensated with a discount for the time we spent waiting to have the tire replaced. We will never do business with Stubbs again and we will inform all of our friends and family members not to do business with them either. They should have physically checked the tire stock before ever removing our tire from the bike in the first place. read more

Decided to go in and look. I finally ended up talking to Eric the sales manager. He told me, "let me see what I can do". He said he would call me. I figured I would never hear from him as soon as my credit score was discovered. Couple days later phone rings, it's Eric, I got you qualified all you got to do is pick out your bike. Wow! Unbelievable! Great experience. Everyone from Sales, Parts, and Service treated me like a king. I don't know how he did it but he did. Got me on a bike I could afford and got first class service. Don't be discourage if your credit is bad, go in talk to Eric. Far as I can tell this guy probably has some connections with H-Ds Bank. I went into Buddy Stubbs a couple weeks ago, I am trying to get a bike because I have always had a love for bikes. I grew up dreaming of having the money to buy my own brand new Harley. So I go in and I asked the salesman about a trade just to see what they will give me. The guy takes pictures of the truck and compliments me on having a really nice truck, clean and low mileage. So he tells me it will take a few days to get a bid on the bike and I agree. So two days later I get a call saying he found a bidder. Long story short he tells me that the best price came out and this was the best they can offer me is like $8,000 under blue book. So I laugh and tell the guy "naw never mind I will wait that is extremely low and I will hold out so he doesn't need to contact me again." So like the salesman he is, he calls me an hour later and asks what my bottom dollar is. I come back with about $6,000 under blue book and he laughs at me and says "Yeah good luck on that." So I tell him I know what my truck is worth and they aren't going to make $8,000 and I would be stupid to agree to that. So avoid trying to do a trade in with these guys, it is definitely not worth it because they will nickle and dime you. Found a bike that I had been looking 4 for a while. I was greeted by a new salesman who was nice, but did not know the negotiation process. I rode the bike & liked it. Upon my return, was taken to the finance guy (Ethan) to buy it. He led by asking what's your social? I said well, wait a second does everyone just walk in & pay retail or is there some room for negotiation? He said there is none. I said everyone pays retail? He said with disdain on his face, yes. I laughed and was told to wait, and waited until finally we walked out. The salesman followed me out w a hard copy of a price $399 more than the tag actually hanging on the bike but $1 less than the price advertised on Craigslist. He said they were unwilling to take money off at all with bike week coming up bx we are sure we will sell it. As you would guess I was BLOWN AWAY so I will take my business elsewhere and I don't guess BUDDY STUBBS needs to sell bikes that bad. I would advise not to waste your time here. Thanks. read more

If you ask me Buddy Stubbs is just BS!! If you enjoy racism,discrimination and prejudice Shop Buddy Stubbs. This Review is a two part review and is actually quite unfortunate and sad. A female neighbor referred me to Buddy Stubbs on Cave Creek. I first stopped in just before Christmas 09 to get a HD floor rug for my brothers semi. They did not have it but the staff was so eager to help and even looked in the catalogs to see if they could get it. It was discontinued so they could not. Regardless the service was TOP Notch. I knew I would be back. They didn't have the rug but I still dropped $400 DOLLARS on 3 HOODIES!!!! OUCH! I feel I need to mention also that the only people that helped me that time were all women. FAST FORWARD in March of 2010 My partner and I decided to buy a HD Trike. They are now built in house and not outsourced. I told a neighbor that I was headed out to Buddy's (different neighbor than the one who referred me) and without saying to much my neighbor told me to go to Mesa. I asked why? He just said I think you will get better service in Mesa. I didn't think anything of it and decided against Mesa for the simple fact I live 10 min away from Buddy's, and I was treated so well the first time. NOW I KNOW WHY HE TOLD ME NOT TO GO. I arrived and walked inside. as always they had a great selection and tons to take in. There were 2 guys just sitting shooting bull back and forth so I made my way over to where they were. I didn't know if they were sales associates or not so I just kept looking at bikes. I kept looking at them to see if they would acknowledge me. NOT A CHANCE. I actually started timing it and decided then to just wait until I was helped.In 23 minutes It never happened. when the guys left the area I assumed they were not sales people. I walked over to the cash wrap and asked a girl for help. I told her me and my partner were looking for a trike. She walked me to were I was already and asked one of the two guys if they were busy. She told them I was looking for a trike for my FRIEND. After she left he asked why my friend didn't come?? I told him it was my partner and he was working. INSTANTLY he shut down and said they didn't have any in stock and they wouldn't be getting any. I knew instantly that they just didn't want to deal with a gay person. I asked for a brochure and promptly left. When I got home I went to my neighbor who told me not to go and told him my experience. He laughed and said " imagine if you were black" which my neighbor is. Obviously this company only is open to a certain clientele. I'm just not going to shop nor refer anyone to them. Also as a disclaimer my family owns 2 softails 1 fat-boy and a Dyna Glide. We have bought all our bikes from Sauk City HD in WI. We now have ordered a trike from Mesa and were more than happy to pay 28K in cash "well check" for it. We are looking forward to getting it end of April or early May. read more

i went to buddy stubbs because everyone said they where great well there not i went in to get a flush mount fuel gauge and gas cap set told the guy in parts i had a 07 softail he handed me set and said it will work install it to find out it was wrong called them had them order me the right one called twice to make sure they had it go to pick it up and they told me they sold it to someone else so it will be another week i will never use them or recommend them to anyone read more

Javier in the parts department is a stand-up gentleman. He spent quite a bit of time with me to identify a wire connector for a Softail fuel gauge. He came to the same conclusion that I did when I decided to go to the dealer. Wrong part numbers were given by Harley Davidson MoCo for the part. He was as astounded as I was! Javier is an asset to this Harley Dealership even though he was unable to resolve the part issue. He tried real hard and is extremely polite. I've been riding Harleys for nearly 23 years and I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the Harley brand. Hopefully Victory and Indian motorcycles will force Harley MoCo to go from a C game to an A game. With guys like Javier in the mix, things are looking up. read more
