Buddy stubbs service department and parts department is the worst in the Valley. Harley should yank their license to operate under their name. Zero follow up from service and parts. Promote the Hogs and Dogs guy.
Do not take your bike there for any schedule service. They couldn't diagnosis a flat tire let alone a burnt brake line. Sadly I paid for this shitty service. You won't be rewarded ANY credits in store, they won't price match any competitors.
Did my homework on the bike I wanted, the accessories I wanted with it, the color, and how much I was willing to pay. Scottsdale HD, They didn't have my color, so I marched to Buddy Stubbs boy I should have just sprung the extra cheese for the SG Special and settled for that color they had in stock. Buddy had my color. They wouldn't budge on the in store credit. 26k dollars later, I got a T-shirt with Buddy Stubbs on it. Thanks, I won't be wearing it promoting your shit shack you call a business.
I ordered a tour pack, the quick release kind, also ordered the Vance and Hines Big Radius 2 into 2. I had a buyer who wanted my stock exhaust. Word! Make some cheddar and help pay for more treats for my new toy. Weeks went by, and not a word from Buddy Stubbs parts department or Service department. I decided to lay low and wait for them to call me, figuring they would call me once all the parts were in. Not a word. Called and the exhaust was in. More weeks went by so I called them "Oh we are waiting on the lock." I took it in anyway, got the tour pack and exhaust installed (No lock). Weeks went by and I have a tour pack with no Lock. I finally lost it, and called parts, demanded they track it down. Turns out it was in, and they just couldn't find it. Pretty sure it was under their meth pipe. I left without my "Stock Exhaust, so that's money out of my pocket. Was told they couldn't find it. It's long shiny and can't miss it. I didn't get to sell that to a friend obviously. Who has it? Can I get some credit since you "Lost" it? NO.
In the grand scheme of things, it's not much to bitch about. But If I spend $26k on a new bike the least you could do is pick up the phone and keep checking on me. They do however call you every week to tell you about their "Hogs and Dogs" event that they have ALL the damn time. Every week... "Don't miss our hogs and dogs" yeah blow me with your bullshit breath. I say fire the mouth breathers in parts and Service, and promote the promotions guy to be the Point Of Contact for parts and service. He at least calls so much you have to put a block on his number.
Harley is such a well-built bike (Sarcasm) that most riders strip out their gear shift shaft and renders the bike useless unless you can reach down while driving and manipulate the bike into another gear. Usually after 17,000 miles, mine just happen to strip out at 15,000 miles, leaving me stranded in traffic on I-10. I was able to get the bike into 2nd gear and eventually into 3rd and limped the 6 miles home.
I called Buddy Stubbs only because Arrowhead Harley's service department was closed at the moment. I got a dude on the phone sucking his teeth because the bike was in Avondale. They eventually picked up the bike and took it back to Buddy Stubbs in Cave Creek. I should have given him a buddy stubbs T-shirt for going WAY out of his way. It's all warranty work, you guys are still making money by picking up my bike and repairing it. Deal with it, have a king cone and smile.
Since the bike was do for its 15k service checkup, they did it there while repairing the shaft. $275 dollars' worth of service checks. I picked up the bike and told them the back brake line was burnt to a crisp. Brake lines are to be inspected during the 15k checkup, this line which you can clearly see by removing the side cover was missed. When they wheeled my bike out, I checked that back brake line. It was still burnt to a crisp. I asked how come this was not caught on the service check? I was told it's because of the exhaust (Street sweepers, Big Radius pipes) and that if they replaced it, it would burn out again. Cool I'll keep riding around on it, but thanks anyway.
The service department guy told me they would order and replace it free of charge and he would call me when it's in. Yeah because they missed it during the "check" and they are feeling stupid. That's a thorough job boys, exhale the meth smoke before looking at cables and lines. Two weeks later, still haven't gotten a call from service department on a simple rear brake line. Buddy Stubbs your entire service department and parts department is a JOKE, and that's a direct reflection upon you and your family.
Do not waste your time with these knuckle dragging apes. Filing with the BBB and Harley about these oversights. read more
